Welcome Back (70)

Welcome Back (70)

An absolutely beautiful woman was humming. With perfect facial features, to curves that made a person’s mind wander. Instead of being jealous, many women who saw this figure would absentmindedly look as they imagine what her figure looked like as her clothes hid just enough. By the time they realized where their mind was, they would blush.

Almost as if she had a type of aura that made one lose track of their own thoughts. Causing their mind to return to a rudimentary thought process that made the imagination run wild. Only once they came back to themselves did they realize their thoughts were so lustful.

Currently, the woman was walking through a field without anyone else. Humming that happy-go-lucky tune. With each step, she would come and go. From the field to a deserted road. As time went on and each step she took, her surroundings continued to change as nobody would be able to keep track of her movements.

Suddenly, she stopped humming as she paused. In front of her was the outer wall of a city. She smiled sweetly as her eyes exploded with a vast amount of emotions. Almost all the emotions were positive, this only caused her already beautiful appearance to be enchanted.

As if walking on air, she appeared at the top of the wall before her foot gently made contact with stone as there was a loud crack. Running straight through the wall all the way to the gate that was just below. What should have stopped continued as a mysterious force transferred from stone to reinforced wood. From top to bottom, regardless of the material was now showing a large crack.

As the sun rose, a large crowd started to form at the gate entrance. What drew their attention was not the massive crack that impossibly ran down the wall, making no logical sense. No, what everyone was looking at was the body that was nailed to the wall.

This wasn’t a nobody that everybody had to guess the identity of. No, everyone knew exactly who it was. A local tyrant that threw his weight around. A devious scumbag that bullied the weak while hiding from the strong. Covering their tracks to keep themselves out of trouble. Abusing their families power and money to do what they wanted.

If this wasn’t enough to cause such a sensation. The family this aristocrat belonged to was one they didn’t dare to stare at like this. In fact, stranger still was that the body had been hanging from the wall without anyone taking it down.

At the moment, there was nobody screaming to take it down. The body hung silently as guards were keeping the crowd at bay as the officials were trying to figure out what to do. Nobody took the body down, not even if they could.

They feared the person that did it. As for who that was, it wasn’t hard to guess. The body was nailed to the wall, having been strategically placed. The nail was in the groin area. To top it off, this eerie sight was combined with a hauntingly beautiful face of a wanted poster slowly turning red by the blood of the body.

Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings.

Thus, the sight in front of them was a handsome aristocrat hunched over as if they were sitting at an impossible angle on the wall. A large metal spike was inserted into the wall, looking as if the noble was sitting strangely on top. Blood slowly ran down the spike, showing that it wasn’t that he was sitting on, but pierced through. Blood was being absorbed by a wanted poster that hung at the front of the nail, a woman could be seen on the poster with a hauntingly beautiful smile that was slowly being dyed red.

Two people were in the crowd talking to each other. “Fuck, just looking makes my nuts hurt… Hah, she’s as crazy as ever.”

Giving his green skinned companion a look, “Just because she often keeps a low profile, doesn’t mean you should forget what type of person she is. By now, most of her legends are seen as myths. People forget that she is from the Animal Tribes. Cold, ruthless, and a natural masterpiece of nature itself.”

“You think this has anything thing to do with that proxy vote?”

Everwind didn’t immediately answer, listening to the crowd, he could hear about all the misdeeds the man had committed. “Probably.”

A woman with a spotless green dress that gently blew in the wind was humming a beautifully calm tune. She was at a ledge. Without stopping, she stepped right off. Her body strangely stayed upright as she started to fall. Her dress and hair stayed surprisingly still as she reached a high velocity.

Strangeness continued as she suddenly came to a stop in midair. Next second she landed gently on a wooden deck. A large ship was underneath her foot. A man with an ugly scar on his face twisted and squirmed as he smiled, causing his already questionable looking face to look horrifying, “Captain, welcome back.”

Reaching out, she put a soft and warm finger on the man’s chin as she lifted his head to meet her eyes. Smiling beautifully, “Thank you, Jeremy.”

Seeing her face, he blushed slightly as she smiled. This caused her eyes to squint, and the already long eyes added a type of exotic beauty that caused his heart to pulsate. Very quickly, he looked back down at the deck.

Fear overcame any other emotions. He knew the captain was the most beautiful after she had killed. As her heartbeat sped up, and she smiled more with a hint of a light blush that was utterly breathtaking. However, this also caused her mood to become excited and dangerous.

It wasn’t that she couldn’t control herself. Alternatively, she didn’t even try. She was an Ever, she rarely had to control her animal instincts. Therefore, when she became excited was when she was the most dangerous.

While there was a massive amount of fear in his heart, he also knew the crew was hers. They didn’t just belong to her, they were her property. It sounded cold, only in this way could she refrain from harming them, no matter how out of control her emotions became. Those from the Animal Tribes thought differently than everyone else.

Property was anything that belonged to them. Being territorial, these beings protected their things with the utmost care. Anyone or anything that tried to touch, break, or take their things would be met with devastating consequence.

This included her own property. Meaning, if the crew did anything they shouldn’t, there would be massive backlash. Still, when everyone did what they were supposed to, what they received in return was absolute care. So much attention and care that they often lost themselves in the imagination she loved them. It was hard to remember that this wasn’t mutual love, instead, she was treating her things the way she thought she should.
