Moving inside, Cassie got off the carriage. While it was a form of protection, while inside the tribe, her safety was hardly in question.
For Jessica, she was a guest. There would be a modicum amount of respect. By respecting others, there would be a reasonable expectancy to be returned much of the same. Even if they weren’t, her safety would only be called into question if she did something she shouldn’t.
Cassie was not in that particular category. Before leaving Mercury City, they were already explained to by Everblood. Mercury City was its own power, one that rivaled if not beat every powerhouse backed by an entire race.
Without needing to be said, they could understand this. What Everblood explained was that Cassie would be considered a political guest. While this drew attention, in terms of going to another nation, in this case Blue Wolf Tribe of the animal kingdoms.
Enemies attacking her would not be from there. It was unlikely any of the other tribes would know. Animal Tribes as a whole were only united against foreign invasions. So all the two needed to do was work as a guide and protection on a low-key level.
What really threw Jessica off was the city formation. Once they entered, they were truly given guest status. Jessica could feel a boost like property. Moving on the main road that was only dirt, she moved at a faster speed.
It was very minute, if not paying close attention it would be hard to even notice. Moving speed was not the only boost she could feel. Moving required less energy. With a bit of thought, she was wondering what would happen if she wasn’t a guest.
If she happens to be an enemy, would this formation weigh her down?
While exploring the city, they were moving up and down dirt roads. On all sides were young and old. Human and somewhat human looking individuals or blue wolves moving around alone. Some within small and large groups.
In that sense, their group really sort of fit in. While Cassie’s wolf was a snow wolf, it drew a lot of gazes. While they looked over, after seeing Saleh they didn’t investigate. Instead, keeping their distance.
Jessica’s worries didn’t come to fruition. Cassie’s snow wolf didn’t leave her side. After walking around for a good hour, she even started to ride the wolf as she was growing a bit tired.
As they had been exploring the city for a while. With the snow wolf, Saleh advised them not to go into any stores. Having explained that stores here were not the same as other cities. They were relatively the same. Having not gone in, the two didn’t know what that meant.

“Would you like to go to where we will be staying?” Saleh turned to look at Cassie, who was sitting on the snow wolf. No longer was there sweat on her forehead, one could still see she was a bit tired and travel worn.
Looking over, she nodded with a polite smile on her face. This in turn caused Saleh to speed up a small amount. With Cassie on the snow wolf it wouldn’t be a problem if he started to run.
Finding it a bit strange, usually a group of adults running would draw attention. Jessica found it hard to determine if the same would be strange here.
Nobody outright ran, however with the boost in speed their walking speed had increased. Just walking at a brisk pace was enough to almost be running, if one didn’t pay attention it was hard to even notice.
The entire city felt rather face paced. A new and a little tiring experience if Jessica was being honest. Her body was fine, if she had to pinpoint it. Maybe she too was a little travel worn.
Moving around, Jessica was unsure of where exactly they were. She didn’t have anything to relate it to, she only knew they had been moving for a long time.
Soon, the streets became quieter. Tent like structures that were originally strange with multiple floors now felt a bit more normal.
Finally, the trio, and snow wolf, made it to a certain tent structure. Standing outside, Cassie and Jessica shared a glance. They could see the wonder in each other's eyes. Something about this place was different, they just couldn’t put their finger on it.
Saleh was currently filled with memories and failed to notice them. Soon he took a step inside. It was then the two realize what was wrong, or different.
Currently inside, was Saleh. While they were outside. It was a very odd description as he had only taken a single step away. However, seeing him, who had just been standing next to them.
He gave them the feeling he was somewhere else. Jessica was a bit uneasy about it. She couldn’t understand or pinpoint why this was, therefore the unexplainable caused her to hesitate.
The snow wolf, felt differently. Cassie trusted the snow wolf, so once it took a step forward, she didn’t attempt to stop it.
Seeing this, Jessica could only follow them. Once insider, she felt a membrane of air push against her as she seemed to entire an entire different world.
Once inside, the city disappeared. The tent structure was still there. But all around them was empty grassy plain. There was a second thing, a woman was standing at the entrance to the tent. She had a soft smile on her face as she looked at Saleh.
She was a little tall, giving off a gallant feeling. Her hair was straight as it started to curl as it fell. With a dark blue color, giving off the impression of ocean waves.
She had large eyes, a foggy gray that reminded you of a foggy day. With a thickness that one would easily get lost in.
For this reason, it also felt difficult to tell what she was thinking. All one could do was read her gentle facial expressions to gauge her mood.
When she stood up straight, it was a little imposing. It was undeniable, she was a graded being. However, there were no hints to her level.
She had a very marvel level of control. Knowing she possessed mana was obviously because she was allowing them to sense it.
Cassie didn't show any signs of being overwhelmed, as the control of mana was otherworldly. It was by no one’s doubt, she was a very high-graded being.
She even gave off a spring rain type of cleansing feel. Making one wish to approach her.
