Today I started sparing with the puppet I designed. I could easily overwhelm most people through brute force if I tried to, which would go against the point of this whole thing. So, of course, I had to drastically limit the actual force I was using. I decided to do that by limiting the amount of mana I was allowed to use for the puppets. I’m not sure how much to limit it in order to get a good fight, so I figured that I would go overkill on that and limit it beyond what I think is reasonable. About a quarter of what I used to create the first version of the Ents.
And honestly, it was really fun. Yeah I didn’t do very well, and I lost almost every match, but the few I did manage to win where exhilarating. Having so much of my mind occupied by controlling a puppet and analyzing my opponent is kind of intimate, in a way. Like trying to read and understand their mind without actually reading their mind. I’m not sure exactly how to describe it, but it appeals to me.

Maybe I’ll go all out and challenge Par one day. I’ll win that fight while limiting my mana, but without those limits, I have no idea.
Other than that I spent my downtime with Azrezel, doing what couples do when they are alone.
Anyway, Good Night Diary.
