A loud thud came from the other side.

"What's going on?' The guard came out after Kira. 'Oh my, I think he fainted.
'Call an ambulance!' Kira tried to lift Austyn's head, but she was too weak to manage it.
'Let me.' The guard stepped forward to help.
He gently flipped Austyn over.
His hand touched Austyn's jacket. 'Shit, I think he's bleeding.'
Kira saw the guard's hand stained red. 'Wh-what?'

The cab driver was reluctant to ferry a bleeding passenger until Giana promised to pay him double.
