Leonard stared at me in disbelief. "What do you want out of our collaboration, Eva? What do you mean? We are meant to remarry each other at some point. We should've never divorced in the first place!"

I didn't know what made Leonard think that I would help him with no strings attached. More to the point, he set me and Alisa up before he asked for my help.

I sighed wearily and did my best to calm myself down. "If you haven't thought of a proper reward for me, then we'll talk again when you have. With that said, you know how things are with my health. I rose and was about to leave, but Leonard held me back.
