CHAPTER 4055
“Balchae’s true form was of a Lernaean Hydra. Waspen highly valued him and passed on his cultivation inheritance to Balchae. Balchae also holds a certain amount of prestige within Mount Carslegh.”
James rubbed his temples and asked, “Where is Balchae right now?” RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
Dahlia replied, “According to the information I’ve gathered, he’s currently not in Mount Carslegh and has gone to a small world called the Space Realm.”
“Oh? What is he doing there?”
“My intel tells me that some kind of wonderful Empyrean herb has appeared in the Space Realm, inside of the Space Race’s territory. Balchae went there in order to take it,” answered Dahlia.
James immediately stood up and said, “Good! Then, we’ll carry out our plans right away. Let’s head to the Space Realm, find Balchae, and capture him. Then, I’ll take on his identity and return to the Hopeless City to see if I’m able to release your villagers.”
“Okay!” Dahlia nodded.
After hashing out the details, the two left the Hopeless City and headed straight for the Space Realm. On the way there, Dahlia briefed James on the Space Realm and the Space Race.
The Space Realm was a tiny world in the Greater Realms and was not very popular. The Space Race was also relatively weak compared to the other races in the Greater Realms. They were so underpowered that they did not even have a single Nine-Power Macrocosm Ancestral God.
“From my understanding, the Space Race used to be extremely powerful in the past.”
“Oh, is that so?”
“Yeah. The Greater Realms had always competed among themselves for leadership over the rest. In the current age, none of the other races are able to take over the Greater Realms, not even the powerful Dooms nor the Ursas.
However, there was a certain period where the Space Race unified and ruled over the Greater Realms.”
“Why are they so powerless now?” asked James.
Dahlia shook her head. She was unaware of the details since it was in the distant past. Most people had almost already forgotten about the Space Race.
James and Dahlia hastily traversed the Chaos. Soon, they appeared outside the Space Realm. Dahlia brought out a map of the Greater Realms and ascertained their location. Then, she put it away, pointed ahead of them, and said, ” That’s the Space Realm.”
James asked, “In the information you gathered, does it state exactly Balchae came to get?”
“No. My intelligence personnel only told me this much. They only knew it had been almost a million years since Balchae left Hopeless City. There’s no guarantee if he’s even still here in the Space Realm.”
“Let’s go take a look.”
James entered the Space Realm. He stepped forward, passed through the cosmic barrier, and appeared inside the planet. Dahlia followed him closely.
The Human Race’s intelligence networks spanned a large part of the Greater Realms. Many humans hid themselves within smaller worlds to avoid being pursued by the Ten Great Races. Thus, they were especially informed about the situation in these places.
Dahlia knew a bit about the Space Realm.
The Space Race’s base of operations was in a place called Yeimiz. The Space Races’ Lord was Haestra Saberton, a Seven-Power Macrocosm Ancestral God.
The Space Race was on good terms with other races, especially humans. Even though the Human Race was reviled by all the other races of the Greater Realms, the Space Race maintained their peaceful relations.
The Heaven-Eradicating Sect and the Space Race’s Lord used to share their cultivation knowledge with each other and discuss the Greater Realms together.
All this was what Dahlia knew. However, all this was from a long while back and she had no idea what the Space Race was like now in the present.
