Chapter 512

The mood was set.

He was getting excited.

She was about to find out if he had six-pack abs or eight.

But Deborah had to ruin it with her incessant calls.

Such a killjoy.

Kira bit on her fingernail, seething.

"Turn around.' Austyn broke the silence in the room.

Kira answered by rolling her eyes.

'Do you want me to do it for you?' His hand was already on her shoulder.

Kira took her time completing the 180-degree turn.

She emulated Flash Slothmore, the fastest sloth working at the Department of Mammal

Vehicles.

In the post-meridiem dimness, Austyn's eyes seemed to be glowing.

He drew her into his arms.

Kira shrank back, feeling uneasy.

His voice was low.

The hint of desire was gone.

Was he getting mad at her for hanging up the phone?

Kira swallowed nervously.

She didn't notice his pyjama top had disappeared.

'Do you want to fall off the bed?' Austyn recaptured her hand. 'Stop fidgeting!"

A brief second of introspection told Kira that she might be in the wrong.

A phone was an intensely private property.

She'd be upset if someone used hers without permission, which meant Austyn must be upset as well.

Which explained his suddenly reproving tone.

Conscience-stricken, Kira decided to offer a pre-emptive apology.

He couldn't get mad if she apologised first. 'I'm sorry."

Austyn's hand, reaching for her cheek, paused. 'What are you sorry for?"

Kira was a little miffed.

She'd already apologised.

Why was he still grilling her?

'I hung up on Deborah's call,' she said. 'Now you're pissed.'

She gave a resigned shrug of her shoulders. 'Go ahead, mete out your punishment. I can take it. Just don't spank me."

Austyn withdrew his hand. 'Who said I was going to spank you?'

'But your hand was raised like you were going to whack me.'

Austyn sighed. 'I wasn't going to spank you. And I'm not pissed.' The Minds Bumerį

'Really?"

'Really."

"Then why did your face look so serious? You were glowering at me like you wanted to eat me."

Austyn nodded. 'I do, just not the way you think

He didn't give her a chance to ask more questions.

He grabbed the front of her PJ and ripped off the rest of the buttons.

Two minutes later, Kira finally got the answer to her question.

It was an eight-pack.

Kira slept through dinner and the entire night.

She woke up the next morning when sunbeams fell across her face.

Austyn had one arm slung across her shoulders and the other on her waist.

Pain radiated from every part of her body.

Her thigh muscles screamed.

Her waist ached like she'd been sawed in half.

The worst part was her head.

It was as if a miniature pixie had crawled into her brain with a hammer.

The incessant pounding set every neuron on fire.

Kira gritted her teeth and endured the monstrous hangover.

She swore silently to stay on the wagon for the rest of her life.

She shifted her body, wanting to check what time it was. Austyn's arm moved.

She was pulled back to lean against his naked chest.

Sunlight continued to pour in through chinks in the curtains.

Kira felt her cheeks heating up.

Pinned in place by Austyn's arms, she elbowed him. 'Let go! I want to get up.

Don't Malo Ma Pull Thi Tanjia

Don't Make Me Pull The Trigger

It must be way past dawn how.

Austyn's eyes remained closed.

His hands roamed over her body...

Kira squirmed, feeling ticklish. "No, stop, haha... let go of.... of me..."

She succeeded in waking him up, along with a certain part of his anatomy.

Kira felt it pressing against her thighs. 'How can you be...already?"

He'd kept her captive in the bedroom all afternoon.

They both missed dinner.

Did his libido know no bounds?

'It's a normal reaction. Austyn nibbled her right earlobe. 'It's a testosterone thing,

As if that explained everything.

Kira rolled her eyes.

Was he trying to tell her that he didn't mean it?

But what about his hands?

His fingers were currently dancing on her shoulder blades.

Were his hands controlled by testosterone as well?

Kira tried to roll away.

A loud banging from the door startled them both.

Half a second later, the second bang came.

Kira bit back a scream.

Austyn paused, exhaling loudly.

"Young Master!' Elsie's muffled voice came through the thick oak door.

"We're not coming down for breakfast!' Austyn shouted, impatient.

He was already enjoying dessert if Elsie hadn't interrupted him.

'But Young Master! I have-

'Go away!' Austyn raised his voice by an octave.

He was in the middle of something important!

Kira screwed her eyes shut, her cheeks burning with embarrassment.

Was the door locked? This belongs to - ©.

Could Elsie get in?

Would she?

Kira pushed at Austyn's chest and whispered, 'Get up!'

He didn't budge.

He thrust his hips against her buttocks.

Kira froze.

Why was he still...?

The usually compliant housekeeper refused to go away this time.

She was still pounding on the door. 'Young Master, I didn't mean to disturb you, but there's something important!'

Austyn didn't seem to have heard her.

His attention was riveted on Kira.

He flipped her on her back and trapped her between his arms.

The look in his eyes told Kira what he was about to do.

She flew into a panic.

Elsie was right outside, less than five metres away!

Was he crazy?

Kira squirmed and writhed and tried to shove him back.

'Young Master?' Elsie was insistent. 'Are you up? I really have something important! Young Master Liam's here!'

Both Kira and Austyn stopped moving.

Both their heads whipped towards the door.

Liam?

Did they hear it right?

Austyn turned to look at Kira and saw the confusion in her eyes.

Don't Make Me Pull The Tugger

'No, you can't...you can't go in there!' Elsie was shouting, sounding flustered. 'I'll get Young Master Austyn to come downstairs. Young Master Liam, you can't barge in like this!"

The bedroom door was kicked open.

It slammed against the wall with a loud bang.

Liam pushed past Elsie and marched in.

He headed straight towards the inner room.

A door closed somewhere when he caught sight of the king-sized bed.

Austyn was sitting on the edge of the bed.

He had on a pair of pyjama bottoms and nothing else.

His hair was tousled.

Behind him, the sheets were a rumpled mess.

One pillow lay on the carpeted floor.

Liam narrowed his eyes.

A smell hung heavy in the air..

He curled his lip. 'Did I interrupt something?"

Elsie sprinted into the room, panting. 'I'm sorry, Young Master Austyn, he got past me."

'It's fine,' Austyn said flatly. 'Leave us.'

The housekeeper glanced at Liam, hesitated, but then she turned around and left.

Liam cast his eyes towards the bathroom with its door closed. 'Where's Kira?"

Austyn reached for the pack of cigarettes and lighter on the nightstand.

He almost lit one up when he remembered the promise he made last night.

Sighing slightly, he tossed the pack back onto the table.

"You have thirty seconds to get the hell out of here,' he said calmly, anger coursing through

his veins.

Liam folded his arms. 'So you can get back to rolling in the sack?"

"Twenty-five seconds."

'Don't worry, I'm not staying for long. I'll leave once I find out what I want to know.'

"Twenty,' Austyn said.

Don't Make Me Pull The Tugue

'Where's Deborali?' Liam asked at the same time

Austyn looked up. 'What did you say?"

'Did you think I came here on a social call?' Liam scanned the bedroom. 'Deborah's missing.'

"Explain."

'I went to look for her. The door to her apartment was ajar. I found signs of a struggle in the living room. And bloodstains on the floor."

'Why should I believe you?' Austyn asked.

He searched the nightstand for his phone.

He could access the video feeds from the camera in Deborah's living room, but he wasn't about to do it in front of Liam.

'Go take a look for yourself."

Austyn's face remained blank, though he was starting to believe what Liam said.

There was no point for him to make up a lie like that.

'So you know nothing about this?' Liam frowned.

He scrutinised Austyn's face for clues, but the latter gave nothing away.

Austyn stood up, picked up a shirt draped over the back of a chair and put it on. 'Your thirty seconds are up. Leave, or I'll make you."

Liam stood still. 'Did she call you yesterday?'

Austyn pulled open the bottom drawer of the nightstand and retrieved a Sig Sauer P320.

He pointed the muzzle at Liam at point-blank range. 'Don't make me pull the trigger.'

Liam remained unmoved.

He knew Austyn wasn't kidding, but it simply wouldn't do for him to back down like this.

He refused to look weak in front of his half-brother.

f-brother.

The two men stood facing each other, neither speaking.

The room was filled with a tense silence.

A long minute later, Liam moved.
