Part 1 – More Changes
When I teleported into the city it was still in it's wreck state from the battle that took place 4 days ago. There near the ruins of the castle was both Alexandra and Viv who seemed....different for some reason. I ran to them and said hi.
“Looks like you also got a change in race as well seeing that your tattoos are back....I was getting worried that less and less people were staring at the weird appearance you had” said Alexandra.
“...”
What does that mean? Their race changed as well? Who changed it for them and what was their race now? I mean both of them were pretty much humans to begin with and it was surprising that they were able to keep up with me since my stats were naturally higher than theirs.
“What race are you guys now?” I asked a bit curious.
Alexandra answered first, “Apparently I am now Divine Beast...no idea why the Gods decided that but apparently they decided to help me increase my power with this change in race. All my stats increased and my Light Warrior Skill changed so it is more similar to your Dragon Transformation with mana being taken per hour and not per use.”
Okay.....Alexandra just got more OP when I wasn't looking again....that Light Warrior skill has a higher power output than my Dragon Transformation just a note to pay attention to and now she can use it as much as I can use Dragon Transformation.
“Plus I can do this to increase my stats by 20% and my skill levels by 3” Alexandra focused and some light markings appeared around the forehead area on Alexandra in the shape of some sort of creature's face that looked similar to a mythical beast's. It was a faint light brown colour but for some reason I could feel Alexandra was stronger in that state....
I looked at Viv who explained next.
“The spirits changed my race for me when I appeared. I'm now something called a Living Spirit which allows me to see Dead NPCs as well as have a higher affinity to spirits. Also my magic relating to spirits are enchanted as well which lowered its cost and increase its power by a lot.”
Okay.....same thing as Alexandra with them being stronger....
“Unlike you two I don't have any transformation skill or something that increase my stats. However I do have a skill that increases my stats higher the more spirits I'm contracted with plus their quality. Right now it increases by stats by 50 points in all stats from the high ranking nature spirit I'm currently contracted with. I'm planning to get a contract with both the wind and water spirits I mentioned before. Also I can make dead spirits into my slaves as well or let spirits possess me.”
“...”
Okay....beside Alexandra becoming more of a monster, Viv makes both my and Alexandra's progress seem insignificant with his contracts and such that literally let him match both of us at the same time in power.
If he get another 2 contracts them....all I hope is that he isn't as accustom to them long enough to the point he is skilled with Water and Wind magic as much as his nature magic.
Plus I'm worried about the fact he said he can make dead spirits into his slaves....
“Anyway I turned into a Dragonoid Anhrefn which is pretty much reverting back to how I was when I first met you guys except I keep the Dragon aspects. Stats are a bit higher as well and one of the great features of this class is that all skills in the Beginner Levels gain experience really quickly. I haven't tested it just but it should be at least two times with that perk and with you add in my original skill experience increase, it would mean I gain levels for my skills 4 times as fast. Also I gained some skills here and there that includes a teleport, defence and booster type magicks from Warlic as well.”

The two stared at me as if my change was better than theirs'. I mean if you look at it more closely, I was the one who had the less amount of change while those two turned into creatures that weren't humans at all.
But apparently that was not the case at all since me being stronger is still s hock to them. Now I think about it...Divine Beast.....where have I heard about that before.....wait, those earrings.
I took out the earring that I brought for 25K gold and gave themt to Alexandra since I won't be needing them at all now with a new defense skill that actually deflects attacks back!
“What are these?” asked Alexandra a bit suspicious of my sudden kindness.
“Earrings, why?” I replied pretending to not know her worries.
Viv then took the earrings and identified them for Alexandra in which both of them were in shock.
“This is....extremely rare magical unique item!” said Viv in that shock.
Well I knew it was hard to find those kinds of items but was it that rare and more to the point expensive? I mean I don't even know if Alexandra can even use the earrings since the shopkeeper...who I now hope isn't dead said only those who can breach its barrier can be accepted by it.
“Come out Divine Protector!” shouted Alexandra.
A flash of light consumed the earrings and it turned into a large beast that was around the same height as us, its its back and head on the same eye level as us. The Divine Protector looked at Alexandra and said in an imposing voice, “Who calls for me?”
Alexandra not fearing the creature at all said in a confident voice, “I'm Alexandra, a Holy Templar calling for your help from now on.”
The Divine Protector looked at Alexandra with its eyes narrowing and started sniffing for some reason.
“Why is it I smell the scent of a Divine Beast, one of my Kin from you?” asked the Divine Protector in a bit of a rage. Alexandra scratched her head a bit clumsy and said in reply, “Long story but the Gods turnt me into a Divine Beast out of nowhere recently.”
“...”
Out of nowhere is stretching it Alexandra....I don't believe the Divine Protector will believe that. I knew I wouldn't if I didn't know her.
“I see however you must still prove yourself first.”
Wait what? Aren't you worried that she killed your kin or something when she said those words? Are most beings in this world that trusting of humans?
The Divine Protector jumped back and activated a powerful barrier surrounding itself in a sphere that stretched out several metres from it's body.
“The test is to simply break this barrier. After that I will do whatever you say.”
Alexandra grinned at this challenge and increased the power throughout her body tapping into the new power from her race as well.
“Flash Slash!”
Alexandra's sword disappeared in a slash for an instant and hit the barrier with the shockwave of the attacking breaking a bit of the ground at the same time. However it did not even scratch the barrier at all.
Wait a minute, when did she learn that sword skill? I don't remember her using it.
“New skill she learnt but didn't use often....” said Viv.
Oh that explains some things.
Once more Alexandra continued to attack but seeing that it wasn't doign anything it seems like she was going to use that....
I took Viv and ran as far away as possible to not get caught in the attack. From afar Alexandra used her Light Warrior skill that was now even more OP and shouted, “Sword Wave” causing a flash of light before a great explosion.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
“...”
Why is that I feel that Alexandra isn't overdoing it right now. Is there something wrong with me now? Or is it that I'm so used to this that I can't even get a reaction out now.
“Tch”
The Divine Protector's barrier wasn't even scratched at all with that level of power. How damn powerful is that thing?
With Light Warrior still in play Alexandra boosted the power to the Light Warrior.
“Divine Beast Shift!”
The Light Warrior decreased in size and power turning into more of a armour compressed form around Alexandra but I could feel that it had a lot more power than the usual Light Warrior giant state.
Also the light around Alexandra looked really like another layer of armour above her normal armour that she was wearing. The armour itself was a bit transparent and I could still see her normal armour underneath it as well. The light armour she was now wearing due to the skill had black lines across parts of it leading to the heart and head with the symbol of black suns on both of her hands.
There was also transparent claws on her hands now as well and transparent horns on her head.....but as if that wasn't enough.
“Blood Destruction!”
The atmosphere around her changed and it was more like a beast awakened in front of me. Her hair and eyes turned a crimson red. Even the markings on her body changed to that colour as well. This was like....the skill of a berserker, one that can surpass the physical limitations of the body for a while.
There was even a violent red aura coming out of her. What's next, Viv can do that as well now?
Alexandra moved quickly and used Flash Slash again.
Bang!
Naturally the attack didn't work but there was a small crack on the barrier now....
I decided to run further away.
I was right.
“Compressed Sword Wave!”
Light and power gathered on her sword as she smashed the barrier into pieces.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
From what I can see the barrier that the Divine Beast created was destroyed completely with the Divine Beast being injured a bit as well. How much power did she put into that attack.....I do hope it isn't turned against me as well....
Me and Viv walked back to Alexandra in time for the Divine Protector to talk.
“I see that you process great power. I am willing to serve you” and with that the Divine Protector turned back into its earring form and landed on Alexandra's hands in which she wore them.
“Hmm? My class changed to Dictator of Light? What's that about?” asked Alexandra confused. I need to get the details of that class out of her later but now I think we should really get out of here.
“What was the explosion?”
“It came in that direction.”
People were starting to gather. I grabbed the two that seem to be ignorant of our situation and ran like hell as far away as possible.
Part 2 – Details of new times and new fears
“Hey can you show me what your new class and race does?” I asked during the session of us running away.
“Hmm? Sure.”
2 windows opened up in front of me.
Divine Beast
A creature that naturally creates Divine Aura and has powers that mortals cannot have. Although weaker than Gods themselves, they are often seen as the servants of Gods and similarly powerful beings in the world. As such they have unusual powers that can increase the efficiency of skills via the use of Divine Aura
- All Stats +10%
- Can use Divine Beast Shift which increases stats +20% and skill levels +3
- Increased relation to non-human species
- Some new versions of current skills can be made with Divine Aura
Dictator of Light
A class that is recognised by Gods and other similar creatures to be one that serves and protects the light. While having little control over mortals due to the restrictions of not dabbling into the affairs of mortals, they boast extreme power over them due to this as well. As a being that serves the light you are more resistance to it and Darkness as well as being more powerful when using light as well.
- Light Based skills power +50%
- Can call upon army from churches in event of crisis
- Increased Light and Dark Element Resistance by 30%
Okay.....now I better make sure I don't piss her off. I wonder if Viv is any different....
“What about you Viv?” I asked as well.
Two windows opened up in front of me again.
“My Class changed a while back....” muttered Viv.
Living Spirit
A living spirit that is possessed by spirits. A very rare state that may bring either fortune or misfortune at the same time. With this, you are able to form closer bonds to spirits in general as well as seeing other spirits that people normally cannot see such as Dead Spirits of the fallen. Many options now lie in front of you as a living spirit as you may either give them salvation or command them for your own use until then.
- All Stats +10%
- Can form multiple high levelled spirit contracts now
- Can see numerous spirits that normally cannot be seen
- Stats increase with more spirit contracts you have
Starfall Witch
Bringer of Despair as a being that caused the downfall of countless beings. Due to the power you wield, there is little hope for those that oppose you. Even the stars in the sky fall away into the abyss due to your actions. Many have been torment by you until they broke
- Dark based skills power and effect +50%
- Dark Resistance +50%
- Able to use Starfall Series magic

Okay....remind me not to piss him off as well....is it me or are they becoming more monster like than me now...?
I mean I can use magic and am a Dragon but this is normal compared to what these two have....
(As if a abnormal existence like a Destroyer, the Bane of Gods can complain! All three of you are abnormal and monsters!)

Shit they found us!
It seems like they slowly trapped us from around while we were trying to avoid all of them. Well it looks like someone had a big enough brain to do so. Soon a odd 50 number people were already around us ready to fight.
Now that I think about it, why were they chasing us?
“Capture them and sell them to get gold!” one of them shouted.
“No make them our slaves for life!”
“Yeah!!!”
All of them cheered for the idea. What the fuck are these guys smoking? Are they bandits? No, even bandits have better goals like stealing gold, these guys are lower than even bandits.
Trash
When I was about attack them, Viv stopped me and smiled. Why do I have a feeling that I won't like what I'm going to see?
“Starfall Series Spell #1: Downrain Hell”
From his staff, a great amount of mana was gushing out and formed into the sky as some sort of dark particles rained down literally like rain that corroded everything around us. I set up a mana shield just in case some of it may fall on us.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhh!”
The 50 odd people were grabbing their eyes and.....ripping them out?
“That spell causes illusion of their worse fears to see so they want to rip their eyes out in the end” said Viv with a smile. Alexandra patted his head for the good job.
“....”
“How many more of those spells do you have?” I asked.
“Around a dozen more, why?”
“Are the similar to that spell you just used?”
“In terms of effects no but they are similar in nature since it is mostly dark star magic to begin with.”
So there are a dozen more spells that are that horrifying. I wonder what Viv did to get these spells in the first place....
Part 3 – The Beginning of a new Guild
“By the way who were the ones who survived by you reviving them?” I asked Alexandra. I was quite curious on which ones of the two now only lived. Well naturally I had some personal attachment to the others but right now I have to face the future with a clear back.
“Umm....” said Alexandra trying to remember even their names though I doubt she knows them, “The child leader and the one that separates into multiples sometimes.”
“...”
If didn't know what she was talking about I would've thought she was insane. Plus those description of them suck like hell!
“Where are they now?” I asked.
“They said they would go back to the base where the vaults are. The child leader on said to bring your key or whatever and they will discuss what to do after that.”

I see, so we're finally going to see what's in the vaults though I never even bothered with them in the first place. Well it would be a bit interesting right now to find out what was being hidden in there. Gold? Rare Items? Or perhaps even skills that could be learnt....
After another few days worth of travel, we made it back to the base that was....ransack in most honesty.
“What the hell happened here?” asked Alexandra while looking around the place.
There were items shattered everywhere either broken or made impossible to salvage. It seems those 5 came here and trashed the place. Wait a minute if they trashed the place then that means all that paperwork I have due is gone!
I ran to my room and on the floor was a neatly sack of paperwork.
“....”
They did this to intentionally piss me off right? Normally that wouldn't happen when you trash my room as well. Anyway with more looking around I noticed that there were some things missing instead of being destroyed. Namely the experimental weapons that were made as well as all the Gold in this place as well. That could be a problem later.....I rather not get hit by that spinning chainsaw weapon that was made.
Eventually the three of us made it through the place that was now quite difficult to go through and got to where the vault was where there were two people waiting for us. One of the child leader of the Guild of Light and the other was Clone from my Guild of Shadows.
I sighed since it all came down to this. 11 extremely high levelled specialises reduced down to 2 with a single action of betrayal. I would at least expect some more of them to survive or was Thinny hiding more power than I thought.
I think he could use telekinesis which I did not expect him to have. I mean, isn't that a really cheaty like skill someone could have?
“It's been a while Eden” said the child leader, “I believe you heard from Alexandra already but we all died and only us were revived in time before even her demise. Thankfully none of you three are like us in death.”
I nodded to those words.
“But now we need to discuss what we are to do from now on. Both Guilds cannot function anymore with so little members.”
“In that case, what will we do?” I replied.
To be honest, I really don't know what to do with the guild now since I haven't actually thought about it. All I talked and thought about was on what to do to get stronger in the future. Thinking about a guild that was pretty much destroyed was none of my concern.
“We'll temporary combine both guilds for a while until the incident ends, then we will all go our separate ways afterward. I suppose there is no need for us after what has happened,” the child leader sighed.

Ah good now I have to do more stuff.....well I can probably leave most of the work to the others right...?
“Anyway we need to get the items in those vaults. I have heard they are powerful and are in the form in which the leader of both guilds are in the most need of or just to increase what they already have.”
As we were both next to the vaults to begin with, we both took out our leader keys/daggers and REPLACEed them into the keyholes.

The large heavy doors scraped the ground as it opened inwards for both vault doors. I walked inside and found a small box. I carried it outside the vault door and it closed. The child leader also came out with a box but it was a lot longer than my one.
“Before anything else, why did we have to open them at the same time?” I asked.
“Oh, that's because the doors are made to be connected with each other and as such you need both keys to open them both at the same time. It was so one side couldn't get the treasure in their vault and have an advantage over the other.”
I see, that would make sense. They were already preparing for a Thinny to appear who wanted power but not a key. Even if he convinced the other side to open their vault, he had no key of his own so both sides couldn't do anything but wait.
Anyway we both opened up the boxes that were apparently what we needed from now on. Inside the child leader's one was a pure white staff that had wings at the end. A light blue gem that was the size of a child's hand was in the centre of those winds. I could tell that it was powerful and had many enchantments since there was a strong magical force on it.
On the other hand in my box contained a bracelet of some sort that was very simple in design. It was more like a large ring as well made up black materials but there happened to be words or runes carved into it.
“....”
Looking at the staff that was definitely powerful on its own, why do I feel like I was scammed right now.
Giving the bracelet to Viv to identify I looked at its stats.

Her laugher filled the room to the point it was painful.
“It was always true that Eden got the short end of the stick.” commented Viv jabbing it in. The child leader also pondered to this as well.
“Amazing, I never knew my leader was this entertaining. Perhaps the Gods are at works here” said Clone suppressing the urge to laugh as well.
These bastards.....if it weren't the fact that I need you all right now....
Swearing in my heart to take revenge one day, I also gave a look to what the staff's stats were as well.
Rainbow Staff of the Guild of Light
Specially made to increase the abilities of the user in all directions, it was made in mind to increase mana, casting speed, damage and so on. It is one of the few perfect tools in which a magic user can have and therefore is deemed as one of the priceless items in the world on the same level as some of the legendary items that many churches have with represent their Gods.

Why do I get this stupid bracelet that only does one thing while this one gets a OP staff that cannot be priced at all! I mean how many millions of Gold would this thing sell for?!
Looking at the staff, everyone else was speechless as well. Alexandra patted my shoulder with a look that said 'better luck next time'.
There wasn't going to be a next time! I'm going to rip apart whoever planned this!
Part 4 – Tunnel of Hell
“So are you sure we have to do this?” I asked.
The child leader nodded and pulled a lever.
Rumble Rumble.
The walls started to crack and the base was going to collapse on itself. Okay the teleportation circle should activate and we both should be out of this place right now. The reason why we were here and doing this was so no one else could ever use this place ever again. This place served its purpose and was breached by enemies which meant they could come in whenever they wanted in the future. As such we packed what was left and decided to move out destroying this base in the process.
“...”
Any second now...
“Hey is this work-.....”
The child leader was gone, teleported out.
“....”
That means I was trapped here.
Shit.

And this place was collapsing as well.

The only way I can get out of this alive was to either run to the closed entrance and blast my way through or to blast my way out all the way. Judging by the fact too many bad things happened to me today, I guess the second option would be more safe....
And this option was one that had a high chance of me dying! That was how bad of the situation I was in!
The wall already started to collapse near me. I better make sure I can survive this first.

Power filling my body more than ever even though it was exactly the same as before. The first thing I need to do is make sure nothing crushes me while I'm trying to get out.
Earth Formation ? Wall Form ? Earth Walls
“Earth Walls!”
Four pillar from the ground completely surrounded me on all sides protecting me from the collapsing things from the side. The problem now is over and below me....
I casted Earth wall below and above me as well to make sure nothing drops on me or a hole opens up below me as well.....or at the same time....prevention is always the best solution!
Then before I could do anything else, It seemed like gravity disappeared as my body floated and hit the top of the Earth Wall I created above me. In an instant I noticed that I had essentially made a giant box to trap myself in with no ways of escape. It was quite a sturdy box as well.
“Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!”
A few seconds later my body was pounded into the ground or the current floor of the box since while falling the box hit something and decided to spin around causing me greats pain in various areas.
When the box finally stopped moving and me finally regaining my balance from the trip, I opened up a small hole in the box around eye level.
Outside there was lava everywhere.
“....”
What kind of sick joke is this? I mean really, lava deep underground?
I was in a box that should be heavy enough to sink into this lava river and there was lava everywhere! I mean this was literally a river of lava and there was only a bit of space where lava wasn't anywhere!

They say the higher the fame you get from finding a dungeon, the harder it is. The absolute minimum amount of fame you could get was 100 and when it reached over 1000 it meant high levelled parties would have great troubles with it at level 300-400. How hard would this dungeon be with over 200 fame?
I don't want to know. Plus I think one feature of dungeons is that you can't whisper to other player while in it.
I don't know the way out as well and I think the way I came in was unknown to me as well.

Might as well explore a bit then. If I died, then I would just respawn back at the city. Speaking of which let me try teleporting out again.

Due to the Mana in the are being unstable, the following effects are in place
- Spells Costing double the mana to cast
- Chance of Spells exploding on you while casting
- Lower ability to control spells
- Certain spells being unable to be used (Water and Ice magic)
Other effects:
- Higher gravity in this place
- Faster rate of dehydration
- Fire and Earth Magic enhanced by 5 ranks

Due to the effects of the Bracelet:
- No chance of spells exploding on you
So....only one of the effects this place has on me was negated? Plus it was a bit difficult to move around.
Hmm...can I manipulate the lava in this place? However before I could do anything involving using the environment to my advantage the box was grabbed and moved quickly as it was fling to the side of the lava river.
Bang!

I looked from the hole in the large box I made which was the cause of this incident in the first place and saw a giant worm....with a large hole with teeth and such from one end.....which was perhaps 20 metres large....did I mention the sharp teeth?
Getting out of the box and running away from the giant worm thing that just ate the Earth wall box I was in, I ran into a hole in a wall that led somewhere no caring what was in there at all.
At least its better than what's outside for now.
