I breathed out a “Fooooo~” knowing that my training was finally finished. It been a week since I've started this training and now its done!

'Why are you doing this' you ask me? The thing is there are many many people in that building that would like me to dress up and frankly without this training I can't escape....confront them yeah...especially Alexandra whom has a doll dressing fetish with me as the victim.

Well most of my stats increased by a bit except for Intelligence, Wisdom and Domination. I have no damn idea when Charm increased!....or was it because of 'that event' last week.....

“Eden wear this next!” demanded Alexandra.

“No! I don't want to!” I tried to cling to the piece of cloth that was all that was separating me and Alexandra.

“Too bad~” She slurped her drool and forced me into another dress.

“Screenshot time~” a certain perverted smile appeared on her face.

I don't want to think about it....

I decided to go to one of the weapon shops to see if I can get a long sword like llyfr recommended to use since this new style of fighting I learnt isn't that great with shorter weapons. I decided to keep the dagger since it may be useful later on was a hidden weapon or something......hmm.....if I attach this to a chain then....well I can ask the blacksmith when I see one.

Eventually after some searching I reached a weapon and armour shop. I didn't even look at the name of the shop as I entered it. Like the one I've seen before, the place had weapons and armour lined up. I looked around ignoring the stares of other players and NPCs and went to the blade section. There were several long swords which were either too high levelled or too low levelled for me to use. Most of them were either level 150 or level 200 weapons.

Hey llyfr, I don't want to search the entire city for another shop but which weapon should I take? I mean most of these I can use but they are kinda.....too heavy for me to use.

[Hmm.......take the one to the right. The one that has a lot of rust on it. I have a good feeling about it and it seems stronger than the rest by a large margin]

The weapon llyfr was talking about was really really rusted and was in the junk section. However llyfr's instincts never failed before so why should it now. I picked up the weapon and examined it.

Rusted Sword of Contract   Durability 10/10  Damage 1-2

A rusted sword. Requires Catalyst to activate contract.

Rusted Sword of Contract? So I can make a contract with a sword? Well I can always buy another sword if this one fails.

Rustle~

Hmm what was that? Well it doesn't matter.

“How much this this sword?” I asked the shop keeper.

“1 Silver” he replied immediately without hesitation.

“I'll trade you this sword.”

I pulled out the sword that I took from the bandits a while back and gave it to the shop keeper for him to examine. His eyes were wide open when he looked at its stats.

“Deal.” He took the sword to storage where he would definitely sell for a high price.

When he returned he kindly asked me, “Would you like to buy something else?” with a smile filled with greed.

If it weren't the fact that I knew something was off about this sword, I would've never brought it in the first place.

As such I took some time before I returned to the Blade Master Guild to find Alexandra was planning another.....no, you can't think of it.....don't think about that dress she's going to force you to wear.......

“Eden, what's with that rust piece of junk?” asked the instructor with interest since everything involved with me was anything but normal.

“No idea. Its a sword that you can make a contract with apparently.” I boorishly replied.

I took out the dagger and cut my finger and let a drop hit the rusted sword. Why I first thought of using blood to enter the contract? Well most....stories and frankly most things in this kind of setting requires blood for a pact or something along those lines.

Ding

Would you like to enter a contract with the sword?

Ah, it worked after all. It would be embarrassing if it didn't work and I had to ask what else to do.

“Yes”

This sword better be the price I payed. That sword I gave to the shop would've been worth almost a hundred gold, maybe 200 depending on the person and my skills to sell it.

Ding

The sword will now reveal its true form to you

True form...? Well it was kinda expected.

The rust on the sword slowly disappeared in the light that was shining from the core of the blade. This first thing I felt from all of this was fear....for some reason. Then comfort...which was also very weird.

The sword soon revealed a blade that was similar to of a unique weapon base on its appearance. The sword looked very similar to a Katana in its design but had an irregular design for the blade. The sword itself was coloured purple with hints of red in it and the design of a bird could be seen on it running through the side of the sword.

Also I have to change the hilt since its rusted and the sword apparently didn't want to restore the hilt as well.

I gave the sword I Viv for identification and after he did, his eyes were wide open and he gave it back to me. I could've sworn that he was shaking when it was holding it.

Divine Blade Kotoko   Durability: 150/150   Damage: 154-175 (62-70)

A blade that has been processed by a Sword God, the blade of this sword is said to be the sharpest that is capable of cutting down all defences. However with no worthy beings to use it, its powers and legend was soon forgotten. However the contract was recently renewed and a new person now wields the Divine Blade that is capable of slaying even Gods.

Some skills of the sword is locked until a certain amount of time

If the user does not reach the level requirements but is a being that is at least equal to the Sword God in strength or potential strength, then the weapon can be equipped with reduction of damage based on the percentage of the user to the weapon level requirement.

Weapon is bound to user. Cannot be dropped unless contract is broken.

“Holy...........wow.......this is incredible” I managed to say out of shock of how good this weapon was.

I checked my stats to see that the full bonus of the sword still applied completely even though my level was much lower than the sword requirement. Only the damage of the sword decreased and it was still much higher than other weapons by a large margin. The length of the blade was also longer than most at a length of 1 metre and 60 centimetres which was a bit (around 10 cm) shorter than me.

I believe this is a good day to practice with this sword, however I wanted to learn something else.

“Instructor, I will allow you to see this sword if you teach me some foot-work techniques.”

I need some ways to escape....I mean move about in battles.

“Ah...okay!” he replied immediately before grabbing the sword to examine it more closely.

Part 2 – Daylight Assassin

“Eden there are some people who want to meet you” the instructor ran up to me and pointed to a group of people that I don't know. They aren't NPCs...I think so are they're players?

“So what do you want from me?” I asked as I approached them.

There was a silent before someone on their side broke it.

“Nothing....DIE!” a blade was swung at me. Judging by the voice it was a she not a he. I moved back quickly to dodge it but the blade moved forward in a weird way like a snake catching its prey.

You took 364 damage

It was a minor injury to the arm but it was clear that this person was strong enough to take me out if I'm not careful. I drew the Divine Sword I now had and set up the stance immediately.

Six Strike Stance has been set up

I moved my sword in order to defend from any attacks that this person may use. However something was wrong. This one was attacking me and no one else was helping me.

Enjoying the story? Show your support by reading it on the official site.

“Instructor?” I asked suspiciously.

He wasn't stopping them nor assisting me at all. Was he part of this?

“Well you can think of this as live combat training. Go fight to your heart's content. Killing is also fine with me.” he replied laughing at the 'energy' that youths had.

Oh...that's why. His twisted ideology is affecting his common sense. Though common sense seems to run away from me more than often...

I looked around to find that the other Blade Master Guild Members had already cleared out to watch the fight.

And the rest of these guys also lack some common sense....or they want to watch me fight.

The attacker was also suspicious as well on the fact that she was not attacked nor prevented from attacking. I noticed that she was using a blade that was similar in length and design as my one. Did I get some more bad luck by getting this sword?

Seeing that no one on my side wanted to stop this fight I had to try and persuade the other side.

“Oi, why are you attacking me? Its not like I did something against you.” I said while dodging the large number of swings thrown at me.

The woman in front of me froze at those words and started shivering before attacking me again. I blocked the attack head on and she started insulting me before getting to the point.

“That sword...Its mine you thief!” she screamed before pulling her sword back to do a heavy swing at me.

I could care less for her excuse but that swing seems very slow to me for some reason...

When she was half way in her swing I took a step forward and swung to hit her arm. Blood came out of her left arm and she retreated before glaring at me like it was not fair to attack her.

“You're not even that pretty and I was the one who found that sword first! It should be mine!” she winced.

“...”

The hell is wrong with this bitch?

As she was annoying me like hell I set up my stance again.

Six Strike Stance has been set up

A light appeared on her wounded arm which I presume was some sort of healing spell. After she was patched she tried to attack again.

This time I used that new foot technique I learnt and side stepped to her in a dance. Which sounds...very weird to be honest.

Dance of Water has been activated

As the name say, its a dance based on being similar to water against attacks.

She turned around to try and attack me again but I slipped away again from the side. I swung to cut her side lightly and dodged the next attack as well right next to her. As she continued to attack, she was becoming more and more frustrated and her attacks left more and more gaps in them which allowed me and slowly and thoroughly cut her up.

Of course I don't have the fine ability to do this by myself, the system is helping me and frankly this person was really unskilled in using a sword which helped a lot.

The skill Window looked like this.

Dance of Water Beginner Level 5

A dance that was once used to allow humans to be processed by Gods to battle. However such techniques and such Gods are lost now but the basic form of the summoning rite was changed to allow the user more graceful and deadly movements. When active, the body is able to naturally dodge attacks in a smooth manner unless the body cannot keep up or the attack is unavoidable. Other skills can be used in this dance when it reaches intermediate level.

Mana to maintain state per minute: 50

Weapon Speed increase: 5%

Body speed increase: 5%

Why, it is at beginner level 5 instead of 1? Naturally its because I practice with it a lot in order to get it to intermediate level.

Eventually I cut the girl enough that she could no longer stand and waited for the priest in her team to heal her up.

Now I think about it, why didn't that others attack with her? Was it because of their pride or confidences in her.

I looked at them to see that they were uncaring and wished for this to all end quickly.

I see....she's a pain in her team but they cannot abandon her out of good will.....they must have it hard like me dealing with Alexandra. Definitely not thinking about the times wear she forced me to wear frilly dresses in front of everyone...

“Why...why are you so strong? I should be much stronger than you. I have so much better equipment as well.” she muttered under her breath as she waited for her stamina to be restored.

That's true. Though she was wearing light armour, it was all designed and seemed to have really good defence. I think all of that would cost her several thousands of gold to get.

On the other hand, all I had was these high quality Cyclops gear that was on me since level 100. I am 90 levels overdue for new equipment....not to mention the clothes I'm wearing kinda look like rags at this point.

“What level are you?” I asked out of curiosity.

Perhaps I should use this person was the norm for all users at her level.

“250!” she shouted as if people will respect her of being at that level.

That's surprising.....I heard levelling from 200 onwards was like a slow crawl but to think such a person like this could get to that point....though I suspect that those other people had most to do with it.

The highest levelled player, Ray Bard is at level 370 or above right now according to the news and I am the equivalent of a level 340 player based upon stats alone. Its no wonder why she seemed so slow now that I invested some stats in agility.

“...”

“I'm already this strong so why didn't that sword turn into that when I made a contract with it?! I'm definitely stronger than you!” she started pounded her feet on the ground.

Lady I just beat the shit out of you right in front of you as well. How much self denial can you get?

“...”

“I mean you are clearly not suited for the sword that is mine! I was the one who found the bloody thing in the first place so that mean its mine!”

Begging for it isn't going to get you the sword you know. Its even bound to me now. I should at least tell her that no matter what she doesn't, she can't use this sword.

“You know that sword requires you to be level 450 right?” I said honestly without a lie in my words.

The girl was shocked but quickly regained her composure for insulting me. Why is it I always meet these types of two faced girls, not thinking of Alexandra here.....or else she might kill me....

“You're not level 450?! You're lying!”

No I'm not. Doesn't this person know that there are things in this world that go beyond mere levels?

“Long story short, there's this other condition that allows you to use this thing which I doubt you can fulfil.”

“Give me it! Give me it! Give me it!” she begged in an annoying voice.

Ah....I should kill her right now....

While in my thoughts the girl ran up and grabbed the sword off my hands.

Well I let her grab it since its much easier than just giving it to her and her snacking it means I am  not lending it to her.

“Its mine! MINE! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!”

The sword started to shine and burnt the hands of the greedy girl that wouldn't let go.

Due to the heat that she was eventually forced to let go by one of her team mates that didn't want her to burn to death. I made my mind that I didn't like that person at all. I wanted her to burn....

Well I believe at least half of them wanted that to be the cause of her death besides them directly stabbing her to death.

The priest then quickly started the healing process and also curing the burns she now had on her hands. Judging by the priest's gear, she was a lot higher level than this pitiful girl.

Ignoring the wails of the girl, I walked and picked up my sword that was lying on the ground. I wonder when this sword has such a feature....will it try and burn me later as well? And why didn't it burn anyone else?

[I doubt it. I think the sword just hates the girl so much that it rejects her touch.....]

That's understandable, I would burn the girl if she touches me as well based on her personality alone.

Soon enough the girl tried to do a surprise attack on me with little success.

Dance of Water has been activated

I made my way away from her and set of my stance once again to finish this.

Dance of Water has been Deactivated

Six Strike Stance has been set up

The girl once again charged at me and I moved in to attack first. The girl tried to block the swing from her left but I changed the attack into a stab instead.

“Burst Strike”

Moving my body in such a way impossible in real life, my sword burst through the stomach of the girl with such force that she was blown her out of the blade that was stabbed into her.

Critical Hit!

The girl hit the floor a metre away and was still alive to my disbelief. It looks like the armour on her was really good. I started to walk up to her slowly to enjoy the fear that would come from her mouth. And she did not disappoint.

“Wa-wait! I'll give you money so don't kill me! You guys help!” she plead.

However neither me nor anyone else helped her.

Stab

Critical Hit!

Fatal Blow!

Infamy increased by 100

You have gained the Murderer Mark

A stab in the head was all that was needed to kill her. Well I wanted to torture her a bit more but I had other things I had to take care of first. I didn't even get her name. Anyway the murderer mark disappeared as fast as it appeared on my forehead which most likely confused the lot she was with.

“Is this okay?” I asked the girl's team mates.

I felt a bit guilty......what am I talking about, I would kill even a King if I had to but that would make my safe boring days.....but it is already screwed up due to Warlic and Crysero.....

The other team mates simply smiled and said, “We were hired by her father to protect her and we have to obey her if we want the pay. Its actually worth it for the money and she can't sack us since she ordered us not to interfere as much as possible even if it killed her and besides, no one else can stand her for more than a few days.”

Ha, that makes sense. They were payed so much that they probably don't need the girl anymore and eventually they would get paid more and more as times goes on and their contract breaks.

“Just a quick question, what level are you guys?”

The man smiled before asking me, “What about your level?”

“182 now fess up.” I answered immediately without much concern.

“Only level 182? It seems more likely you are in the high 200s. Anyway we are all above level 300 here.”

With that they left and the first of many assassins that I have to deal with was over.

Part 3 – No Ship, No Sail

Under the cloak which also conveniently covered most of my face, I waited for Alexandra to finish with her discussion with the local church since they still want to kill me now that I have gained a couple of....bad titles and skills that could harm them. She walked out with a disappointed look on her eyes.

“There is Good news and Bad news. Bad News is that all of the ships that were going to Morata was destroyed.” she said with a bit of disbelief.

“And the good new?” asked Viv.

“We know who they are....which is the problem.” she answered before sighing again.

“And these people are?” I asked wanting to know which person I should gut.

“The one that is currently supervising this town while the King is out on a trip in a neighbouring Kingdom. Otherwise known as the Count of this place.”

My jaw almost fell to the ground if not by the fact that I was keeping it there by my hand.

A Count. One of the highest, no the highest position a noble can have before becoming a King. They rule over all others and have full access to economic, military, cultural plans in the region. Opposing this person means opposing an entire region which range in the hundred of thousands.

“Is there any more good new?” I asked hoping that there is.

“Yes. The count is hated quite a bit and one of the ships destroyed happened to be owned by a relative to a distance King elsewhere. He went to the church to ask for support in hanging the count which the church is glad to be a part of.” she patted her chest with pride.

This isn't actually the good news is it? I hope not....though this could be the best it can get...

“Which church would be happy to do this?” I asked again.

No sane church would actually go kill a Count right? Even if the son of a bitch is horrible and everyone wants to kill him, the church would not want someone to get killed right?

“The Church of Poseidon who are very happy to kill the person who dare stop their weekly prayer to their God at sea. Also unless they pray once a week with gifts, Poseidon will flood the city and beyond so everyone supports them to a certain extent when near sea. But....the offering is tomorrow so we have the steal a ship by then from the count and there's only one ship left in the town which is the giant battleship you see over there that's about to port.” she bluntly explained.

I looked to see a overly big and waste of space that could be easily destroyed with a well timed water, ice or wind spell with enough power.

Well, how difficult could it be to steal such a ship with the whole town helping you?

- 4500~ words

- Well there goes all the training for a looooooooooong time~

- Now Eden has no need for any other sword since he has that overpowered thing now. Plus I can add skills in later when I feel like it~

- Next chapter, we see an entire town trying to steal a ship and Eden will face a certain enemy.....I made that part humourous

- Also, no progress on writing.....Uni stuff plus my exams are coming very soon. Not much time to write anything. I was hoping to finish writing vol.5 before even thinking of taking a break
