Grand AI
I stared at the information before me. This can’t be right, can it? There was no way I hadn’t seen this possibility.
Grand: Guys I don’t know if I should be excited or really confused right now.
Zeered: This is crazy! How did they take out a boss on the first day?!
Dazion: That Kent dude is scary.
Grand: Yeah, Seriously who has done that within 24 hours before.
Zeered: Dazion did.
Dazion: That didn’t count.
Grand: Yes it does. Just because you killed it by landing on it doesn’t mean you didn’t kill it.
Dazion: To be fair it was mostly on purpose.
Grand: Riiight.
Zeered: It's not like we have video evidence of you falling off the cliff face.
I logged off of our telepathy mainstream and contemplated the last 24 hours. These top 6 members frightened me, to be totally honest. Actually now that I thought about it all of Earth frightened me.
Now time to go see what my favorite experiments were doing. I used the dao of space and bent the world around me creating a portal to earth. I peered through the portal and looked at easy mode first.
The people there were thriving. There did seem to be quite a few casualties but they were only in the millions which was crazy. Have I underestimated the people of earth? If I had it would be a first for me. I was almost always right and this was just amazing! Like a breath of fresh air after years of breathing underground.
I smirked, or tried to. It doesn’t really work when you don’t have a physical face.
Moving on. The humans seemed to have made a few houses and were working on a couple more. There were guards encircling the group and mass chaos was breaking out in quite a few places. Makes sense, there were over 500 million people here. The children and elderly were in the middle and were being helped. I quickly popped over to all of the other easy groups and they all seemed to be doing similar things.
I then went over to see how the hard mode players were doing. They were doing… less great. There was a lot of confusion and somehow the wandering revenant had gotten deep into their camp before just wandering away as though they weren’t even there. There were over 200 of their 3000 dead on the ground and they were trying to make a comeback but everyone was just too afraid.
Now, time to check in on my favorite Nightmare mode humans. They were all crowded around Kent and he didn’t look to be breathing very well. I checked his organs and saw that one of his lungs was punctured and he was bleeding internally. Oh no. That wasn’t good at all. I quickly rejoined the telepathy channel.
Grand: Guys we got some bad news. I don't think Kent is going to make it. He is bleeding internally.
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Zeered: Eh, it's okay. It will make the others more cold hearted and willing to get revenge for their fallen friend.
Daizion: Are they already friends? They've literally only known each other for MAYBE 7 hours.
Zeered: Forged in adversity, their friendship is strengthened.
Dazion: You are so weird.
Grand: Guys! Focus!
Zeered: I still don’t see a problem, just heal him or something if it's really bothering you.
Grand: That's a great idea! I'll do that
I left the channel, rushing to reopen a portal to earth. Come on, come on I can’t lose my favorite experiment now. Not after all the resources I've unwittingly poured into him. Do you know how hard storm titans blood is to get? I looked at Kent and let out a sigh of relief as I saw he was still alive. I didn’t want to just heal him and be done with it. He had to have some detrimental effects. So I took some of his free body stats and added them to vitality along with a little life dao and he was in tip top shape.
Kent gasped awake clutching his heart and breathing heavily. Well, that was dramatic. I quickly sent him a message.
Kent, I just want you to know that I was the one who saved your life. And don’t think of this as a recurring thing. This is the only time I will do that for you and I only did it because you are interesting. Don’t do stupid things. - Grand AI
That should teach him. I wonder though. If he killed all of those things and even killed a boss without emily. He should be nearing level 10. I pulled up his stat sheet to see what he had gotten.

That was nice, most people just got a new spell. But he already had 2 spells so it made sense. I watched as Brock berated Kent for being stupid and then they started to plan out their next step. Well at least the rest of them were competent.
Calamity
A man looked out of the ship into the infinite void outside. He knew he had better things to do ,like ending another empire or taking out a few more planets, but he got the strangest feeling. He didn’t know how to describe it. It felt like… he was being threatened. Not now but far in the future, someone would reach his level of power.
That frightened him. Only the 2 AI’s could even slightly challenge his level of power, and they were confined to their universes, so as long as he didn’t bother them they wouldn’t do anything to him. But if someone were to join his level of power they could potentially hunt him down and kill him. So there was only one thing to do. He grabbed the threads of Fate itself to manipulate it and stop this threat from even existing.
And it rejected him. For the first time in his life Fate thought someone else had more potential than him. HIM, the man who had destroyed galaxies with his might. HIM, who had used Fate to alter the very path that normal people's life would take. He was flabbergasted just who could this person be? He searched far and wide for an answer and he found only one answer. Not one person, but 6.
