Kent
I awoke to the smell of vomit. Not a very pleasant smell to wake up to. As I shake myself awake. I find myself face to face with what looks like a human with long pointed ears and silvery hair- an elf. “You have got to be kidding me” I tell him. “What’s wrong?” he says in a British accent. “I'm leaving, elves aren’t british.” I stand up to leave when he nods. “Your right, elves aren’t British or Scaldivaldian, we dwarves are.”
It was too much. “You're a dwarf.” It wasn’t a question but a statement.
“Yes.” the dwarf-thing said tiredly.
“So why am I here?” I decided to just forget about it.
“I am going to be your mentor for the next 2 hours.” he said, perking up.
“Okay, what does that entail? Will you teach me what in the world is going on?” I was very confused about all of the things that happened recently.
“I will help you choose a class and I will also help you understand your stat sheet and what each of the items in it mean. But first I am going to give you 2 pints of blood.” he said, pulling out a needle.
“Woah, woah, woah. First of all you can’t just stick a needle in someone, it's not right. Second, I thought the voice said it was only 1?” I did not want that needle anywhere near me, but if I had to, I would. I just need to know why there were two instead of one.
“There are two because you are among the few thousand people to have equal affinity with two entities while this isn’t exactly rare, it is powerful if done correctly.” the dwarf told me.
“How is it more powerful? I mean it makes sense that it would be, but I still don’t understand.” I wanted to know how this new world worked and this dwarf was my key to information.
“Because you get two times the abilities and two times the spells and two times the skills. Do you understand?” the dwarf said as though that cleared up anything.
“Ugh, can you just carry on with the stabbing?” this dwarf makes no sense.
“Certainly.” he dabbed a wet pad on my arm and then suddenly an empty void appeared in a 1 by 1 inch hole in my arm.
“What the heck did you do!” I screamed. “Why is there a hole in my arm?!”
“Calm down, it's okay, the void won't hurt you at all. Your body can’t handle 2 pints of blood right now so we put it in this pocket realm and it will slowly seep into your body making you more powerful. Only about a quarter pint will go into your body immediately. Except, for you, it will be a half pint." The dwarf tried to calm me down but I was freaking out.
“Sir please don’t make me use force.” he said looking me straight in the eye. Usually I wouldn’t be afraid of someone so slender and pale but when I looked into his eyes I saw something deadly and dangerous lurking underneath.
I offered my arm to him and closed my eyes. Suddenly I felt a burning sensation in my arm and then my arm lit up in pain. I shrieked to the high heavens and clutched my arm curling up into a fetal position. Time passed. I don't know or care how long I laid there whimpering in pain.
“The pain should be passing soon, you will be okay.” a voice that seemed vaguely familiar spoke to me.
Suddenly as though it had never existed the pain vanished. I shook my head to clear the cobwebs out of my head and stood up.
“Feeling better?” he asked as I got to my feet. I nodded and he went on. “Are you ready to see your stat sheet? All you have to do is say System integrate and then say your full name.”
“Okay… System integrate Kent Frank Collins.” I stepped backward in shock as a screen appeared before me.

“What the heck am I supposed to do with all of this information!” I was flabbergasted. I didn’t understand a single word on that screen, other than my name and I had heard of classes before on video games.
“Let me help you understand it all. So, first up we have your level. You are currently level one because you have not killed any creatures or gotten closer to understanding what dao is." When I raised my hand he waved me off. “It's not important right now. You have to reach level 49 and then break through to advance to the next grade, which is E-grade. That is a while off though.”
“Your race is unique because of your planet's circumstances, so it is just all of your races. The first one listed is the race that is most dominant in your body going down to the one that is least dominant in your body. Currently that is your human bloodline because you were born with it and therefore understand it more. You also have more human blood in your body than any other.”
“Your class is what path you strive to follow. At the beginning it is very basic, but over time and rank ups it will become more specific to what you do. It shapes what abilities you will get and what items are more suited for you.”
“Your stats are a rendition of your body, mind and spirit. The universe's average is 38 but your planet is lower at 35 being the average. Each stat is split into 4 sub-stats. Body splits into endurance, vitality, strength and agility. Mind splits into Intelligence, wisdom, charisma and perception. Spirit splits into will, soul, luck and focus.”
“As all of those are mostly self explanatory I will continue on. Traits are passive powers you get from your race. The people in your world will get two and you get three which is amazing, you should be really happy. All of your Traits have descriptions along with them you just have to click on them.”
“Skills are abilities that are either passive or active. Usually people start with a passive fighting skill. But you also have an active skill. The amount of time you can use a skill depends on how high your endurance is. Certain skills are also based on strength, agility or vitality but for the most part it is endurance.”
“Spells are your magic interacting with the world around you. They come in different tiers. They go like this, weak, average, good, fine, strong, epic, legendary, godly and perfect. Spells use your mana to power. Mana is made from your innate mana, your intelligence, wisdom and level. Each spell uses a certain amount of mana to cast. Any questions?”
I was reeling from the sheer amount of information he had just pumped into my brain. “No, I think I understand. What do we do now?”
“It is time to pick your class.” The dwarf smiled at me in a way that made me fear for my safety.
He showed me how to bring up my status sheet and told me to mentally click on the choose button.
Generating class options…
Options found: 2
Destroyer: A Destroyer is someone who will stop at nothing to get what they want. They will tear down empires and force kings to bow down to them. Nothing can stop the onslaught of Destroyer, only make it take a different path.
Draco Mage: A Draco Mage is someone who channels their inner dragon to become more powerful and use spells far beyond their current power. Draco Mages are almost fanatic in their quest for eternal power.
“What did you get?” the dwarf asked me.
“Destroyer and something called a Draco Mage.” I told him absentmindedly trying to understand these classes.
He paled which was really hard to notice because of his already pale completion. “Choose Destroyer this very instant.” He demanded.
“What? Why? The Draco Mage seems like the better option.” I said, turning to face him.
“The Destroyer is a class that is usually gotten far later down the road of ascension. They are one of the most specialized classes you can get right now. The Draco Mage would also squander the abilities you would get from your Storm Titan half.” He told me with a very serious expression on his face.
“Okay I see your point. I want Destroyer.” I told the screen.
Destroyer class chosen. Making changes…
Changes complete!
“Goodbye Kent, you have made this visit very enjoyable for me.” the dwarf said with a smile on his pale face.
“Wait, what is your name?” I asked hurriedly. I had to know who this mysterious person was.
Sending Kent F. Collins to New Earth
“My name? My friends refer to me as Zeered.”
I felt the world close around me.
Zeered, what an odd name. Wait, I forgot to ask him why I was even here!!! It was my final thought before I lost consciousness.
