So, I'm a witch, so what?
Interlude: My property

Interlude: My property

This new toy is indeed quite a mystery, and I find it fascinating. There are ways to make a monster somewhat intelligent through extensive torture methods and training, but it is pretty rare to find one like the one I bought just recently.

Who or what are they? My curiosity spikes when I read this little goblin's appraisal card; it holds quite a bit of exciting information. What could that goddess be up to this time, I wonder? The last time the primordial one landed on this land, I was merely a pawn working for someone else, but now I wonder if I could do something to them.

Even in my wildest dreams, I couldn't fathom defeating such a monster. It exists in a realm of power far beyond our own. Our powers and constellations are mere playthings in comparison. I dare not delve too deeply into what this creature desires from the goblin.

Still, what could the primordial one be up to this time? Last time, she created an overpowered warrior who was practically unbeatable. I wonder what her plan is this time. I wonder if the primordial testing old world powers are like me with her toys?

Not to worry, for I don't even exist in the bounds of global ranking; there's no need to carry such a tag on my back. However, I bet I could quickly deal away with any of the world's top fighters, including the Witch Queen and the Demon King.

I would never dare to challenge Claudia or the King. There's no need for conflict when we all share a common enemy in the form of the primordial one. The mere thought of that being's wishes and powers sends shivers down my spine.

To be able to defeat the previous Witch Queen, who controlled the extensive power of light magic all for herself. I simply cannot compare against the primordial one, and neither can the other world powers. Not even each region's gods can fight that thing.

Andromeda drowned in despair at the defeat of his most highly prized fighter, hides in the shadows, accepting defeat against the primordial one. If Andromeda can't beat that goddess, then no one else can. Yet, there must be a message she is trying to send with the arrival of new, unique beings. This can't be a mere coincidence.

Why is a little goblin like this already capable of accessing the cursed series? If I'm not wrong, the cursed series is directly controlled and powered by the primordial one. Could this mean that the primordial is on the side of this little boy?

"Where are you taking me?" The little kid asks right after their belly makes awful sounds of hunger.

"I already told you that we are going home; well, at least it will be your home until I let you go, which will never happen." Indeed, why would I ever let such a dangerous being out into the world? Like they would be better off without me in this world of death and chaos.

"Please, let me go, I beg you." The little kid comes running toward me so he can kiss my feet like the little leach he is; how touching, but my answer is, of course, settled.

"No, I paid good money for you, so you can't be free until you pay me my investment back a hundred times over. You're no longer in charge of your will and body; I am, so get used to it already." Soon, the little child cries on the floor, only embarrassing himself further. How pathetic.

If you think I'm being too harsh, the cruel reality is that I'm pretty lenient compared to the regular slave traders. All other slave traders would've already hit this goblin to a pulp for merely touching them and crying in their presence, so don't cry about me being too harsh when I have such patience.

The truth also is that this little goblin boy has the potential to make me insanely rich with that cheating skill granted by the goddess. I'll be dammed that I could never acquire forge skills, and then this boy capable of recreating replicas with a single analysis is such a cheater indeed.

It is a bit of bad luck, however, that all of his other stats suck quite a lot but fear not, for I do not need a fighter slave; I already got plenty of those under my control, so this one will be simply my money-making machine!

"Have you heard of the Nation of Witches, little boy?" The little goblin moves his head to signal a clear no, which is good enough for me to start a conversation about where we are heading.

"There's a nation of Witches located in the forest where you will learn to forge the best weapons from the best blacksmiths available. You should be grateful." I can feel it; I can feel the anger boiling to newer levels inside this boy, and for this reason, it only excites me when he gets angry like that.

It gives me a small rush of dopamine to rub it in this boy's face that he is no longer a goblin but property; he is MY property! I do hope he will break free from the slave seal soon so I can steal the cursed series from him. It would be a pretty nice addition to my collection of unique abilities.

"I hate you!" The little boy looks at me angrily as he bites his lip, crushing his teeth ever so slightly, only exciting me even more.

"Good"
