"Hey, you prick, if you're going to pick a fight, then do it against someone your size." The appearance of someone who I had never seen before shocked me a little; by the looks of their clothes, they appeared to be strong, yet I still had doubts that they could do anything against Julius.
"Tsk, another fly trying their luck against god? Fine by me." Julius confidently turned his back on me to face the new guy who had appeared before him, still carrying himself with the same confidence he had while destroying my self-worth.
"God? Since when gods have become so weak they resort to beating up lower class warriors to enhance their egos?" The new guy clearly had a dead wish, yet even though he was provoking Julius the same way I did, Julius did not simply leap over against the new opponent as he did not know the true power of his opponent.
"Who is she to you anyway? Are you simply defending them out of the goodness of your heart or something?" Julius asks the man, and to be fair, I had the same question; I had never seen a guy like him before, with pointy ears, slightly gray skin, and good looks.
"To me? Unironically, they're the only key to saving this world. Let's admit it: you only wish to kill them because you're afraid they will leave you behind faster than an F1 car, isn't that right?" The man uses language and references that I can't understand but that for whatever reason Julius could as his smile left his face as soon as the new guy said 'F1 car.'
"Shut up! Nobody can know that!" Julius quickly starts their assault on the new individual, who simply lets Julius's right-hand punch hit him in the face so he can quickly and effectively activate some weird move that allows him to return the hit with the same level of strenght, sending both of them flying back.
"FIRE BLASTER!" The gray-skinned guy soon casts a significant firewall attack that quickly travels toward Julius, who can't evade it in time, forcing him to sustain heavy amounts of damage all of a sudden. I couldn't believe what I was seeing; whoever this new guy was, he had the power to damage Julius in a significant way?!
"AHHHHG!! HEAL! WATER CANNON!" In response, Julius quickly activates a water-wielding spell that effectively fights back against the fire, pushing his opponent's attack back to him, creating a massive explosion of vapor and magic that sends shockwaves all over the continent.
The fight soon turns into an outright brawl as both begin to clash with powerful attacks against one another. Every time one of their hits lands on the other, it creates a deafening sound like that of a shotgun, still leaving me amazed and wondering just who the heck that gray-skinned guy was.
The gray-skinned man hits Julius multiple times in the face and the chest while Julius barely gets a couple of hits against him, forcing him to leave the close-quarters battle since, for once, Julius was the one who couldn't keep up against one of his foes.
"How can you even compete with me!? You shouldn't! Your stats are below mine!" Julius angrily exclaims as he tries to fly back as fast as he can, clearly startled by the overwhelming strength of his new opponent.
"Stats! STATS! Everyone cares so much about them! Well, I say! FUCK YOU! FUCK YOUR MAGIC! AND OVERALL! FUCK YOUR STATS!" The gray-skinned man suddenly glows a very shiny, powerful green aura as he chases Julius down, who can't seem to understand just what kind of fighter he is dealing with, and neither did I.
"Appraisal" I finally wanted to know what Julius was fighting for once, but the appraisal results didn't explain much. Instead, they only confused me even more.

Titles: {Ruler of wrath} {Creator of the EP engine}{EP master}
Information: The first creature to discover the true hidden potential within one's mind and Soul. This individual thus fights and grows without the help of the system and is therefore unrestricted by the flow of available particles since their power only requires their own flow. This opponent's danger level is Legendary, as no conventional magical battle method is effective against them.
Creator of the EP engine? What the hell was EP? I know that HP means 'health points,' which should usually stay above zero so you don't die. MP, which means 'Magicule points,' is also fairly straightforward since it's just your available magicule points.
SP, which is 'Soul power,' seems to measure your Soul's potential and also helps out the other bar, which is stamina; the higher your Soul points, the less stamina you consume for whatever reason, but I've never heard of EP points. What could it even mean?! Energy Points?
I didn't understand much about it other than seeing the fantastic way the new guy was fairing against an opponent as problematic as Julius. Was the system telling the truth about EP? Could it be that this new unknown bar worked against Magic so well that not even Julius could overcome it?
Perhaps I spoke too soon as the gray man crashed against the ground, followed by a heavy stomp by Julius, who seemed highly agitated and tired out from a simple, short fight that appeared to be coming close to an end. "I got to give it to you; you're stronger than all the flies I've fought, but not even you can beat me."
Julius happily exclaims while approaching his next victim. I can't help but close my eyes and try to avoid watching someone else die because of me, but when I open my eyes, I see the gray man holding Julius down against the ground, soon turning over to see me.
"Hold up a second. I'll heal you soon enough." The gray man tells me this as he lets go of Julius, who doesn't seem too happy about being manhandled like that by anyone, let alone some random nobody with stats lower than the soldier fighting in the defense lines.
"TSK! How dare you!? Your hits barely cause me pain, but your strenght can overpower me. What kind of witchcraft are you using!?" A now bleeding Julius slowly walks back away from the gray-skinned man who also walks back toward me.
"It's not witchcraft; it's hard work, that's what. You magically blessed humans, and creatures think everything revolves around you and your magic. Well, I've chosen to prove you all wrong. I've never been a master of magic; my power level has always sucked and lagged behind, but no more!"
"This isn't over, Pan. I will find a way to beat whatever shit you're using!" Julius doesn't wait any longer before he chooses to flee after getting checked by the warrior, who has gray skin and pointy ears. Pan was their name, wasn't it?
"Who are you?" I ask the man who slowly but surely heals my wounds and restores my limbs. "I'm pan, another reincarnation like you. I'm sorry you had to see that side of reincarnations like Julius. We usually don't fight each other, but he thinks the world belongs to him or whatever."
Wait, hold up a second, so this guy knew I was a reincarnation!? How!? I had not told anyone else aside from Vera, and that was it. Basically, not even my mothers knew about it. I had never told anyone else; had she sold my information out?!
"How do you know I'm a reincarnation?" I ask the man, who quickly responds with a weird answer.
"Your EP is all over the place, and your Soul does not match you at all; it's all too obvious when you have eyes like mine; it's okay, though; I'm not going to tell anyone; just be honest, where are you from?" Pan asks me, and now that I'm feeling a lot better thanks to him, I don't hesitate to open up to them since they were the ones who saved me.
"I'm from Germany; I died around 1945 at the age of eleven. I think I don't remember much of my past already."
