"The deed is done, sir; that child will not bother you anymore." One of my Dragonite servants gave me the good news I wanted to hear once and for all. I mean, with all this power and people, not being able to kill a single child would be insulting.
"How did you guys end them?" I asked the usual follow-up question since I wanted to know how they had beaten the kid, but when I got their answer, I did not feel so good about it.
"We dropped them in the middle of the ocean to be eaten by a Krogen predator. They are still alive, but there's no way for them to beat them or escape without dying; it's as good as done." Says the stupid servant that only makes me slap myself in the face on the incompetence of my team, for god sake.
"What if she wins, you fucking idiot!?" My servant takes two steps back as soon as I throw my next question at them, implying that the kid could win an uneven matchup like that since I have seen it before.
"But, sir! A Krogen predator is ten times stronger than that child; she is not an aquatic fighter! She can't win!" The sheer lack of diligence from my soldiers was such a demoralizing aspect of my forces; I was surrounded by idiots and people who didn't know anything!
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
"That child better not survive this, or you will be joining the Krogen once she wins." My servant simply recoiled at the idea that Yoimiya might get out of that situation alive, but I knew all too well that underestimating that kid could end up biting me, which was precisely why I wanted them out of the map; she could become a serious threat to me in a short amount of time.
That time I felt that dark energy on me and how quickly it began to drain my MP for its own use still reminds me that the child is truly a monster even worse than me; given the chance, she will kill me without hesitation, so why would I have mercy?
Dark power is quite curious, and while I can still overpower it, I can't help but feel threatened at the fact that a sub-hundred thousand individual can stop me and defend itself better than a million MP fighters over this world; that power is simply too compressed and corrosive to be let out.
Without further ado, I pull out a crystal ball that I now use to display the battlefield, where I can see a fierce Yoimiya fighting with all her might and abilities. That gigantic fish seems to be getting relatively low on HP only after a couple of minutes, as it's all bloodied.
My servant starts sweating as he notices how bloodied both fighters are and also realizes what I have had since my last encounter; that glow in that kid's eyes seems different from the previous time we fought; that title 'ruler of hope' could it be that she indeed had it in them? Damn it!!
