John created a phantom soul and sent it into his universe.

John spawned the soul in a lifeless planet and began to experiment with his abilities. He noticed for instance that without using his god status in this world, using the soul alone. He was unable to see the world around him.

He then remembered the structure of his nascent soul and began to manipulate the phantom soul.

It was just like his cultivation body. It had the private, public, and soul field sea of consciousness. Well, the cultivation body only had two sets currently as he had disconnected his private consciousness from it.

Seeing that the soul could now see the world around it by itself, John put a plan into place. He planned to use his universe to birth souls with the qualities he wanted. For example, if he created a soul and sent it right away to another universe. It would only have his immortal and deathless attributes.

It would require a body to be able to see the world around it.

But if he created a soul and sent it to his universe where he was god. He could modify it and make it more perfect. Just like how he gave this new phantom soul a spiritual sense and soul field.

John created a world will for the barren planet he was on.

He then practiced having his soul go through reincarnation.

Obviously the process he created in his universe was extremely simple and bare bones.

Who knew what type of existences he would have to go through and who would judge his deeds?

The next thing John worked on was a disguise.

Not for his body, no. He worked on something that could disguise his soul! This was essential if he was to pretend to be an ordinary person in the afterlife of other worlds.

How he made this disguise was by putting a thin layer of an ordinary mortal soul over his immortal soul. This made his phantom soul look like a white ball of energy.

It also meant that if someone soul searched his phantom soul. They would only see fake memories that he had put on the top layer of that particular public consciousness.

John then developed a way to get rid of the body completely if he decided to erase the soul. He would use his immortality to have the matter of his body converted into energy and sucked into his soul. He would then have the soul cease to exist.

This would remove all traces of him.

John's spiritual sense was obviously powered by Qi.

The body that John spawned in was at core formation. That's right! He had the blue print for a nascent soul cultivation. It was just a nascent soul was pretty much just a core formation with a nascent soul in the core.

Why was a nascent soul important? It could generate Qi from the sea of consciousness alone!

He then formed a body from the soul at core formation! He had his phantom soul housed in this body.

This bodies processing power was insane.

When he used soul vision to glace at his soul. He just saw an ordinary soul. Now even a true immortal would be unable to see through his disguise!

The body was once again sucked into the soul as it vanished.

He no longer needed to use reckless abandon. He also had further control of his deathless ability and immortality. He planned to take a lesson from true immortals and reincarnate. His phantom soul would keep his spiritual sense and nascent soul!

He obviously would continue to guard the infinite maze with his main body.
