John was facing a huge issue right now. The issue was that he was essentially trapped in a loop of his own creation.

What did this mean? He was cursed to respawn just like every other entity in the calamity realm. Even when he erased himself. He remained as a concept. In combination with the weird time flow of the calamity realm. His humanity was going to be completely be erased.

So John began a grand construction of an artifact.

The pendant that Artis made that was infused with the god's soul that was custom designed by John. That was just a warm up.

John had made something a bit overpowered. He remembered how he was capable of casting mental energy spells through formations. So he made something on an entirely different level. They key was the pendant. It not only stored the soul of a god. But it was an artificial source!

If he perfected an artificial source. He could ignore being a native of other worlds.

Another issue John faced was the afterlife.

He would need to go through the afterlife of another world if he wished to acquire the native attribute.

But there was a problem. In the past he had simply let himself die and have his phantom soul go through the afterlife. Right now, he lacked a soul that was his own.

That was the problem. Even if he had designed the pendant to replace the soul of its target and take over the body. His soul would lack the natural native attribute.

And if he died? He would lose control of the soul and it the god that sacrificed himself would respawn in the calamity realm.

John wasn't worried about not having mental energy. He figured he could make a special artifact that would serve the purpose of his source.

That's why John didn't design the pendant to replace the soul of the person. He instead designed it to 'link' with the soul of its target.

Then the soul would be dragged through the afterlife by force. The link would obviously be broken through the process.

Think of it this way. He was essentially preparing to become a parasite of the soul. Then at a critical moment. Blow up the soul of its host and launch him through the afterlife.

John also designed the pendant to function as its own source. It was made of heavenly materials created in the calamity realm. Once he was born. He would look for it.

The first human to use the pendant would not notice anything weird. But the parasite would already have latched onto their soul. Then when they died... their soul would explode sending John's custom made soul through the afterlife.

Obviously, things were way different this time. John didn't have a nascent soul. So he wouldn't remember or be aware of the afterlife process like in the past.

It truly didn't matter which human used the artifact. Things were fine as long as they had a soul.

But John wasn't able to do this himself. So he had Yz'yze deliver the pendant to the new reality.

John had very specific requirements for the world he was visiting. He didn't wish for millions of years to pass for his skeletal body. As his skeletal body was likely to try something insane again.

What John didn't know was that the cosmic order had erased his private consciousness's memory. John had no idea he had become a concept.

A group of people were sitting around a blind lady. She was a seer, somebody capable of seeing through the supernatural.

She had saved the kingdom many times from catastrophe. She predicted both plagues and famines. She even predicted the birth of a demon child, assassination attempts, and much more.

But for some reason. She had entered a daze. Only saying one word.

The knights around her, didn't know what she saw. But based off her reaction. It couldn't be good.

Everyone was on guard. Waiting for the worst outcome.

Then 'it' invaded reality.

Yz'yze wasn't like those other eldritch entities. He didn't mean to harm the humans. He found them entertaining. He didn't even plan to do anything malicious.

He just thought they were a bit interesting to watch.

People just went insane from seeing him.

He just stood in space and observed the humans.

"That's right. Master said to find him a body."

He spoke and the entire world could hear him.

But all they heard were incomprehensible words that didn't make much sense.

So Yz'yze decided to rip open the world and look at the world will.

Millions died. As massive earthquakes were felt all across the world.

The atmosphere was compromised.

All life on the planet was eliminated.

Yz'yze was in a daze.

"... they died so easily..."

"Now I have to find another world..."

A portal opened up in space and Yz'yze left.

John began to look for another world that met his requirements.

He eventually found one.

He sent Yz'yze off again.

Just like how John was capable of flexibility with his soul manipulation and immortality in the past. He felt like it would be a true waste not to stretch the limits of his concept.
