John was in the portal room of his base in the subterranean world.
What was he doing? He was searching for new worlds.
This wasn't his first attempt.
To be exact, he had already searched 5,387 times!
As for the process?
He opened up the gateway to random coordinates and explored the astral. It was as if he was a small boat trying not to capsize on the top of the sea.
The spatial fluctuations were like waves trying to sink his boat. His spiritual sense was actually destroyed!
Not just once.
But each time, he suffered the same fate of having spiritual sense destroyed by the spatial waves.
Finally! He found a new world!
He saved the coordinates into his astral gateway and was about to walk into the portal.
But then he thought to himself.
John could explore this world in a few different ways. He could go through the afterlife. This would make him a native of the world. He would then be able to use his mental magic system.
Or he could just explore it raw.
Using his current body.
Which was a native of both his universe and the wizard world.
He could also bring some members of Deathless with him.
He made a post in group chat saying he'd take three with him to explore the new world.
Soon an extremely intense game of rock, paper, scissors was played between the 19 foundational members.
In the end. A women with the title of Vitality, was selected to come.
A man with the title of Fate.
And another man with the title of Pride.
John had developed a special type of suit covered in formations for travel between worlds.
This was obviously conjured using mental magic. But he then personally inscribed various formations on it. Making sure to have a life support system.

It isn't like anyone needed this. As they were all immortal. But it saved them from having to replace their clothes after a trip.
It looked like a space suit.
Soon. Vitality, Fate, and Pride were suited up.
John didn't bother to wear a suit. As he had spatial body.
They locked on the new world and walked through the astral gateway.
Soon they found themselves in the middle of a public park. They could see buildings off in the distance.
John spoke:
"It seems this world is quite advanced."
Vitality took off her helmet and took a deep breath of air.
"The air here is wonderful. I don't feel like I'm going to constantly pass out!"
Soon everyone took off their space suits and put them in their return rings.
John opened up a private group chat for the four of them on this mission.
John saw a homeless man sleeping on a bench. It was in the middle of the night.
He walked up to him and performed a soul search.
This was for a few reasons. To learn about the world. To understand the language. To determine the threat level of the world.
Soon John had most of the information he needed.
He sent this information through the Deathless network directly into the souls of Pride, Vitality, and Fate.
They went into a daze for a few minutes as they came to understand their situation.
"How interesting. People in this world have something similar to spatial rings. But they use them for battle! Storing demonic beast and elementals... interesting."
Pride said:
"It seems they use 'elementals' and even demonic beast to fight each other."
Vitality spoke as well:
"Hmm... they could be a threat to us."
Pride laughed.
"They couldn't handle a single one of our spells!"
John interrupted both of them.
"What is important is blending into society. Let us see if we can acquire this worlds power and make it our own."
"I am unable to use my mental magic system in this world. As I am not a native of this world. But luckily, the wizard world is compatible with multiple worlds."
John's group didn't have to worry about becoming mortals, as they got their power from a soulverse.
John sat on the bench by the sleeping homeless man as the members of Deathless went on standby.
John searched through all of the data he had gotten from the soul search.
"Interesting. You form a bond with the demonic beast or elemental and you gain its innate skill."
John spoke to his group.
"It seems that the people in this world have supernatural power in addition to their odd choice of battling."
The main question on John's mind was if he had the talent needed to bond with the demonic beast.
It seems that in this world, some are born as 'chaos holders'. While others are just normal people.
There are various classes to being a chaos holder.
You have SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, and F.
Those with a talent of F could bond with only a single creature. They were also limited to creatures with a level of F.
Those with a talent of E could bond with two creatures. They could choose creatures ranked E or lower.
If you had a talent of D, you could bond with three of class D or lower.
A talent of C, you could bond with four of C or lower.
A talent of B, you could bond with five of B or lower.
A talent of A, you could bond with six of A or lower.
A talent of S, you could bond with seven of S or lower
A talent of SS, you could supposedly bond with an infinite amount. You could also even bond with legendary creatures.
Some of these creatures could be equivalent to rank 7!
This world was dangerous! But there existed opportunity.
Why was this?
Innate skills! Once you bonded with a creature. You inherited a random skill from them. You kept this skill even if they died.
Vitality, Pride, and Fate had greed in their eyes.
"Aren't innate skills like passive spells? If we stack them... the possibilities..."
John spoke:
"Are endless!"
