To leave, I used wind steps but in a very condensed burst. This allowed me to travel about 15 feet in the blink of an eye. To any regular person, it would seem I disappeared, but if you were highly skilled, you would have easily tracked my movement.
“I’m relieved that’s finally behind me,” I muttered under my breath, my steps echoing as I descended the stairs and made my way toward the exit.
As soon as I exited the building, I requested another ride service. The ride arrived in about 10 minutes. I had the driver drop me off at the apartment again.
Back at the Alliance Command Center at Cleaburn Park.
“That's pretty much it,” said Commander Shelong.
There was a long silence, heavy and thick like a dense fog of uncertainty and anticipation that had settled over the room, enveloping every corner with a palpable tension before Oliver broke it.
“Okay, so let me see if I got this correct. You want us to get Prime to work for the alliance for the betterment of humanity?” he said with a questioning look.
Did I get it right?” he then asked.
All four commanders looked at each other. Then Commander Shelong pressed something on the display, and another image popped up on the holo-display.
“Do you know what this is,” he asked the Zone 16 party.
In the image was an island on the Mediterranean Sea.
“Yes sir, it's Cypree Island if I recall correctly,” answered Oliver.
“Good, then you are aware that there will be a very important auction on that Island in about one month, right?” said Commander Shelong.
Nikolas, Oliver, and Selin nodded in unison, acknowledging what the commander had just said.
“The magic gear being auctioned is something that caught all of us by surprise," he said as he looked at the commanders.
"It's so powerful that I would have preferred your Boss call us first instead of going public with it, but what's done is done,” said the commander, a little flustered.
“What intrigued us is that this charm also appeared here in the Gravitaz territory, same as you guessed it, Prime.”
“Coincidence? Maybe, but we will do some probing to determine if something is amiss. That is the other reason we are having this meeting. We want to ask for your assistance on this issue as well,” he finished saying.
Back at the apartment, I had just entered the building when I saw someone standing in the first-floor lobby, a beautiful young lady. She looked about 18 years of age.
She kept staring at me as I walked towards the elevator, making me feel a little uncomfortable.
“Hey, you,” she said in softly.
I pretended not to hear her and continued walking to the elevator, quickening my pace to avoid any interaction.
“Is he ignoring me,” thought the girl.
She proceeded to head off Khyrum before he could get on the elevator, but she was too late.
Just as she got close, Khyrum seemed to move quicker than a human should be able to. He got in the elevator and pressed the button to close the doors.
All the young lady could do was watch as the doors closed in front of her.
“Hey, don’t ignore me; my name is Paige Kaizen, the daughter of Matias Kaizen…” were the last words Khyrum heard as the doors closed and the elevator started going up.
She stomped her feet in frustration, seeing the elevator go up.
“This guy actually had the audacity to ignore me; what if this had been an emergency,” she said indignantly.
She watched as the elevator went up to the sixth floor.

“Ok, so he lives on the sixth floor; this is good to know,” she said with a smile as she hopped into the second elevator and pressed the button for the fourth floor.
As I walked to my door and entered the apartment, I couldn’t help but feel I had just avoided another messy situation.
“Shit, I’m glad I’m back,” I said as I walked towards my bedroom.
Once I got in, I changed into my sleeping clothes and took out the bracelet I had just bought at the shopping center.
“OK, so I’m going to start on this gear enchantment for this bracelet. Hopefully, it won't take me as long as last time,” I said as I proceeded to sit cross-legged in the middle of the bedroom floor.
As I sat down, I quickly grabbed the bracelet with both hands, as I wanted my energy to flow naturally through it.
I started to meditate to try to get into my transcendent state. It didn’t take me long—about 30 minutes—and I was in.
I was back in this black void. I still had the bracelet as I thought about what I wanted to do.
“Ok, so I need to add some healing skills first.”
I concentrated on my healing skill, Heal, and the reel for the skill appeared.
“Cool, let's get started,” I said.
The reel began to spin, and I could feel a faint surge of energy flowing through my hands. Minute after minute passed as the energy flow got stronger.
Outside in my room, the bracelet in my hands started to glow with a very light hue of yellowish green. It was not very bright, but the hue was visible since the lights were off.
After some time, the reel stopped, and I felt I had done enough to instill some healing skills in the bracelet.
“Alright, let's move on to some attributes now,” I thought.
Instantly, the reel disappeared before another one took its place. Seeing the Gene DNA flashing on it, I could tell it was the attribute skill GB.
“That's Good. Since we are not having any issues, let's keep going,” I told myself.
As before, the reel started spinning, and I felt a faint surge of energy in my hands.
Sitting cross-legged in the middle of my bedroom, I meditated for hours —I don’t know how many—this time. The bracelet had a golden hue now, and it looked breathtaking.
After that, it was the same for the last skill I would add: my armor skill, DSS.
The reels changed the same as the first and second times, and then it started to spin.
I continued cross-legged in the middle of the room for many hours as the bracelet glowed with the silver hue for a long time.
The process took so many hours that it was almost 10 p.m. Monday. I had been meditating for two days and even missed Monday's classes, and I didn't even realize it.
As I woke up from the meditation, I felt like I had just been swimming for a whole week; my entire body was tired, and I felt like I was going to pass out from exhaustion.
“Fuck, why do I feel so tired,” I said as I dragged my body up to my bed.
All I wanted was to sleep; I didn’t feel like eating or drinking anything. As I closed my eyes, I could vaguely see the bracelet glowing brightly in golden, silver, and green colors. Right before I lost consciousness to sleep, I saw the bracelet vibrate as the light crescendoed into a flash of blinding bright light.
The following day, I was awoken by the alarm on my CAD going off at 6 am.
“Fuck is it Monday already,” I said, still asleep.
I got up and walked over to the CAD I had placed on the table inside my room.
Half asleep, I pressed the alarm snooze function on my CAD without realizing I had several messages from yesterday.
I dragged my sorry ass back to the RR and proceeded to take a shower. After the shower, I washed my teeth and dressed as I knew I needed to head out to school.
As I returned to the bedroom, the first thing that caught my eye was the bracelet in the middle of the floor; it had a definitive try-color hue. The stones on the bracelet had turned from turquoise to a beautiful shimmering silver, gold, and green tricolor.
“This thing looks awesome; I’m sure Eva is going to love it,” I said as I went to pick it up.
I picked it up and held it. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of peace and security. It was as if nothing could harm you if you had this bracelet. I nodded in self-admiration as I thought I had just created something incredible.
“I’ll call you the Singularities Bracelet,” I said as I put it inside my backpack as I went to pick up my CAD.
“Shit, What!” I said, dazed.
I had just noticed that I had close to twenty unread messages.
The first one quickly caught my attention.
“Babe, why aren’t you in school,” wrote Eva.
“School yesterday?” I questioned.
I got my CAD and checked to see what the date was.
“Fuck, Fuck It’s Tuesday, I missed class yesterday,” I screamed like a lunatic.
I couldn’t believe I had just spent two days meditating to complete the bracelet for Eva.
“Shit, I need to get moving,” I said as I got out of the apartment and into the elevator.
I quickly hit the lobby button, and the elevator started to move slowly for my taste.
"Shit, why doesn't this stupid thing move faster," I said, frustrated.
But suddenly, it stopped on floor four.
Next, the doors opened, and a familiar face walked in; it was Paige.
Paige was beautiful, almost as stunning as the twins or Eva. She stood at 5’8” and weighed about 125 pounds. Her heart-shaped face went well with her high cheekbones. She had a delicate nose, and her lips were thin but full. Her curly Auburn hair reached the middle of her back and complimented her silky, fair skin. She had an athletic body with a very defined muscle tone.
“You again,” she said, raising an eyebrow.
“Hello,” I said, trying to stay calm.
She looked at me as if she was looking at a small child.
“Are you going to behave like a child today also, or act like a regular human being? “She said in a condescending tone.
“I’m sorry, it's just that day…...” I stuttered, trying to think of a plausible excuse.
“I had too many things on my mind and wasn’t thinking straight. I apologize for being rude,” I said.
She looked at me as if trying to determine if I was lying, but I kept up my act. I even put on the puppy eyes without even realizing it.
After a few seconds, she smiled,
“I can’t stay mad at you when you put that face on,” she said as she extended her hand.
“Let's do this again.”
“Hi, my name is Paige Kaizen, and you are?”
