“This is Fucking Fake, Isn’t it, Trenton,” said Principal Kai in total shock.
“That’s what I thought, too, at first, principal, but as I said, I remembered seeing something move extremely fast out of the room as I walked in. That and the fact that it is almost impossible to fake a test result on a TGS machine, I have very little doubts about the credibility of this test,” said Trenton avidly.
“Good Lord, what type of monster has shown up at our school?” whispered Principal Kai.
“Monster Sir?”
“No, not monster principal. What type of Legend do we have in our school, and why have we not heard of him before?” Trenton said in a thoughtful tone.
After thinking about it for a few minutes, Principal Kai’s eyes lit up like torches in the depths of the night.
“You’re right, Trenton; what type of hero or Legend has shown up? We need to find him; he is the key to our future success, Trenton,” said the principal now visually excited.
“I understand, principal, and I have some guesses about who it may be.”
“Really, but you said he moved so fast that you couldn’t see any details. Was he a boy or girl, color, defining features, nothing according to you?” said the principal while looking at Trenton.
“Yeah, but you must use some common judgment, sir. First, we know it can't be any juniors or seniors, as we have already tested most, if not all, of them.”
“True, so you’re guessing it’s a sophomore, Trenton?”
“That’s the same thought I had, but then I remembered one more thing. Something crucial, I believe," he said while looking interestingly at the principal.
"What Alpha has had a meteoric rise over the last few years, sir?” he asked.
“Hmm, thinking of that, it would have to be Ethian Richie for sure,” said Principal Kai.
“Yes, and no one is that good so fast unless you had a secret to conceal, right?” continued Trenton.
Principal Kai stood in thought for a few minutes before a light turned on in his head.
“Dammit, you’re good, Trenton,” he said in disbelief.
“You are saying that Ethian is hiding this secret very well, and if it was not because someone left it by mistake in one of the testing machines, we wouldn’t have found out,” he continued.
“Yes, sir, and who have we enrolled from the Richie Family in our school? He is just a freshman this year, sir,” said Trenton, trying to add up the numbers for the Principal.
“Oh, Brandon, of course,” said the Principal after some time.
“But it makes no sense for him to sneak in at night to get tested; he can have his family do it at home,” said the principal.
"Also, he is not awakened yet, so it makes even less sense," said the principal, a little bewildered.
“Yes, I have to agree on that, Principal, but everything else lines up. We are missing a piece of the puzzle. We need to focus on Brandon and see if we can figure out why he came in late at night and what other things he is hiding. Something must have made him sneak in, sir,” Trenton said hopefully.

“Yes, let's do that. If we can prove that it was Brandon, we can cater to him to put him on our side,” said the Principal excitedly.
The principal and Trenton started hatching a plan to get Brandon on their side while connecting the dots on the tester's identity.
While this was going on in the Kai residence, Commander Felix had called up his daughters in Riyadh.
As soon as they answered, a booming voice came over the HAD.
“You two ungrateful daughters are going to explain to me why I’m getting calls about you two chasing after a trash boy named Khyrum,” said Commander Felix, extremely agitated.
The twins were caught off guard by their father's questioning.
“Dad, I..I.. well, let me explain,” stuttered Yara.
“No amount of explaining will undo this, girls,” said Lea, backing up her husband.
As Cora was going to say something, her father interrupted her.
“I will only say this once, girls: Quit this idiocy about this boy. I will only condone Brandon as a possible match for one of you two, so you better get going on connecting with him,” he said firmly.
“If I don’t see the fruits of your labor by the end of the school year, you will be moving back to Rayong to continue school here next year, and depending on your awakening, we will choose eligible suitors for each one of you,” said the commander in a frosty tone.
With that, the call ended, and both girls stood rooted in their spot for what seemed an eternity.
After a while, Yara was the first to speak.
“Cora, why don’t we tell them what we discovered with Khyrum?” she asked her sister.
“I was going to, but I don’t think Dad wanted to hear that. He is blind to the shine that is the Richie Family,” she said.
“We don’t have much time, Yara; we need to get going with our plan, but now someone is looking at how we act around Khy. We need to be more careful, sister,” she said while walking to her PLE.
The weekend passed without any significant issues. Khyrum mainly stayed in his guest house. He reviewed the results repeatedly, trying to figure out the best course of action.
The following Monday, inside the classroom, two teenage girls talk about the battle they watched yesterday on the HAD.
“Hey Khyrum, did you see the fight last night? Did you see who came in first?” said Cora and Yara.
Both girls have this playful look when they said this.
Khyrum, sitting in the corner, pretends not to hear and keeps his eyes on the PLE in front of him.
“Don’t pretend to act dumb in front of us, Khy,” says Yara in a playful tone.
“I’ll smack it out of you if you do.”
“Yeah, we had a standing bet, and it's time to collect sweet boy,” says Cora in an even more playful tone.
Not able to ignore the girls anymore, he looks up,
“Yes, I saw the battle last night. I was surprised that Vilis could come out on top. I think Nighe just had a day off yesterday.”
This was all part of the girl's plan, and Khyrum was in for the brunt of it. For the last three weeks, he has been harassed by them at every corner. They constantly start fighting with him, and then the next moment, they invite him to eat at the school cafeteria to make up. They continuously ask him to team up for some of the group competitions that will be happening in the future, but he has refused them so far.
I act cordially with them, but that doesn’t mean I want to get to know them more. In truth, I don’t have the time, as I’m already preoccupied with my issues.
I still had to figure out how to look for more information on my skills and how to incorporate them better into my training.
I also had to figure out how to make money since joining the first-year strike team seems unlikely now.
School activities will intensify in the second half of the year. Every student in this school wants to participate in the interschool competitions and eventually come out on top. If they can be part of the winning team or teams, they can choose any top-tier professional team or program the governing committee offers.
As Khyrum is thinking about what to do, Brandon is sitting at a desk next to them.
Currently, he is blowing up Eva’s ear with his usual rhetoric.
“I talked to my dad last night, and he said you could come to eat at our house. He will prepare something special for us, and then we can watch a movie or go anywhere you like.”
Eva can’t help but think that this is becoming too monotonous. This Boy that she has been asked to get close to doesn’t do anything else other than talk about himself and his family all the time.
Brandon turns to take out something from his bag.
Eva isn’t paying much attention to Cora, Yara, and Khyrum's conversation because Brandon is chatting away.
But her ears perked up when she heard the names Vilis and Nighe. She, too, likes to watch the battles on HAD.
“Are they talking about yesterday’s fight?” she thinks.
She turns around, piqued by the girls' conversation with Khyrum when Brandon is about to ask her if she wants to date him. He even has a brochure showing where he wants to take her on their first date.
“Eva, I was wondering if you want to go to the new…” says Brandon as he turns around to look at Eva but instead finds her paying attention to the twins and Kyram arguing about the fight.
