Chapter 18-Twin Telepathy

Chapter 18-Twin Telepathy

“Where is he?” said Cora as she peeked inside.

“I can’t see him either,” said her twin.

“We both saw him walk inside about 20 minutes ago, so he should be inside training,” said Cora as she scanned the bldg. from side to side.

“I know, but it doesn’t look like he's in here. Could he have noticed us and walked out through the other side of the building?” said Yara, looking at Cora.

“Hmm, could be, but wouldn’t we have noticed him walking out or at least getting on the path going back to the main school?” said Cora.

“Hmm, you know what? Let's go inside and take a closer look,” said Yara, pushing on the closed window.

Skreeek……the window opened.

Both girls climbed through the window and landed on the first level of the rafter seats.

“All right, we are inside; let's walk quietly to the first-level stairs, walk down to the ground floor, and go check inside the boy's locker room,” said Cora as she grabbed her sister's hand.

Yara looked at her impishly and said, “Yeah, that would be the first place you want to check, sister.”

“What are you talking about?” said Cora with an innocent face.

“I’m just worried that Khyrum might have slipped while changing, and he might be injured,” she continued.

“Sure, sister of mine. And if he is taking a shower, are you planning to offer to wash his back also?” said Yara with a devilish look.

Cora just stood there when she heard Yara’s words. It seemed she was lost in her thoughts over this idea. She didn’t realize that her cheeks were turning red from her thoughts.

Yara looked at her, surprised.

“Oh My God! You are actually thinking of doing it, aren’t you? Oh, sweet sister,” she said while laughing slowly.

At that moment, Cora realized she had been caught thinking something naughty and turned from white to pink to red to crimson in no time.

“I don’t know what you are referring to, but we are wasting time. Also, stop laughing, or else you will give us away,” she said quickly as she moved forward faster as if trying to leave her sister behind.

Yara could not help but shake her head in disbelief as her sister disappeared down the stairs before her.

“Hey, horny toad wait for me,” she said as she followed her sister down the stairs.

Khyrum was oblivious to all that was happening outside as he was still in his transformed state. He had walked in, put down his backpack, changed out of his regular class clothes into his Phys Ed gear, and sat cross-legged inside the building's weight-lifting room.

He did not know that, at this very moment, two teenage girls were scouring the inside of the building looking for him.

“We checked the main training ground and haven’t found him. Let's go into the smaller conditioning and locker rooms as well,” said Yara.

“Okay, let’s move through the boys' locker room first and see if we can spot any sign of him,” Cora said with a slight blush.

“Yeah, let's try that one first. If he is taking a shower, I’ll let you take him a towel. How does that sound, sister?” said Yara in an animated tone.

“What are you talking about? Stop spouting nonsense before you trip over your own words.”

“Uh huh, nonsense?” repeated Yara, looking closely at her twin.

“Let me ask you, Cora, since you are still in denial. What will you do if you run into Khyrum? What will be your excuse for being here?” said Yara, looking meticulously at Cora.

“You can't say you were worried for him, as no one is supposed to know he is here.”

“What will I say if I find him?” thought Cora for a long while.

After a few minutes, she snapped out of her delirium and continued to walk forward.

“I don’t know what I will say, sister. I just know I must find him. Something in my heart tells me Khyrum is the person for me,” she said quietly.

“Father wants us to get close to Brandon, not Khyrum. All these seduction techniques that we are being trained in are for us to snare Brandon, not Khyrum,” said her sister.

This was one of the most common methods families and corporations used to snare top Tgene male candidates still in high school. They would train their most outstanding girls in seduction techniques to work on unsuspecting teenage boys. It's like most people say. Girls mature faster than boys, so getting a 13 & 14 year old girl to seduce a boy had become the norm.

“I know, but I don’t care. You can go after Brandon yourself if you want. I’ll even help if you need me to, but I will not change my target. I’ve chosen Khyrum, and unless he specifically says no, I won’t give up.”

“Hahaha…even if he says no, I don’t think you’ll give up. I know you better than you know yourself, sister. When you want something, nothing will keep you from getting it.”

“I just feel sorry for Khyrum. He's going to have to contend with two sisters instead of one. I just hope he has good stamina, or else.”

After hearing her sister's comments, Cora couldn’t help but blush and look away suspiciously.

After a few minutes passed, she told Yara, “Let's continue to move,” to allow the situation to calm down.

Both girls continued to move forward. They entered the boy's locker room and found nothing. It was empty, devoid of life. There were no signs of Khyrum anywhere.

“Well, he is not here,” said Yara.

“Do you think he entered the girl's locker room?” she continued.

“What would he be doing in the girl's locker room?” said Cora, frustrated.

“I don’t know, he is a guy, so maybe he is looking for panties or other female garments too, you know….” said Yara in a playful tone while making sexual hand gestures to her sister.

Cora just looked at her sister and nodded in resignation.

She didn’t want to think that Khyrum was one of those sick perverts who liked to sneak around and peek at girls and steal their underwear when they weren't looking.

“I don’t think he would do that, and please, no more improvised mimicry. It's hard enough to hear you, but know I have to see your thoughts too,” said Cora as she started to walk out of the room.

“Like you are not thinking the same thing,” said Cora sarcastically.

“We are twins. We share the same ideas, so I know you were thinking about this also,” she continued.

Cora turned around and was about to say something when a faint light caught her eye.

“Look,” she said, pointing to the double doors at the back of the locker room.

The doors led to the weight training area.

“What the hell is that light? Could Khyrum set up some lighting system?” Yara said, surprised by the faint glow from beyond the double doors.

The abandoned building had no light. Once the building was decommissioned, all power had been turned off at the main breaker inside the maintenance hub inside the main school building. The only light present was sunlight that came through the windows.

But here in the locker rooms, there were no windows. So, how could there be light?

“Let's go see what it is,” said Cora, moving ever so lightly towards the double doors.

Once the girls got to the double doors, they carefully pushed on the right-side door so as not to make any sound. Slowly, the door opened, and they stuck their heads in to look. What they saw left them frozen.

In the middle of the floor was Khyrum, sitting cross-legged. His eyes were closed, and his face showed no emotion. He had his arms to his sides and forearms resting on his thighs. He looked like he was deep in thought. But this wasn’t the surprise.

The surprise was a light in the middle of his chest. It was golden with a tinge of blue. As it pulsated, it looked like a giant firefly. It swirled around in a circle as it spun clockwise in his chest.

Both girls were stunned as they could not understand what they were seeing.

“What the hell is that?” whispered Yara to Cora, surprised.
