“This is Alliance News with a live report coming in from Riyadh; there seems to have been an unregulated confrontation between two powerful Strike teams in one of the city parks, Cleaburn to be exact, in the southwest,” said the news report.
As the first news report about the park fighting broke, news agencies raced against time to uncover the identities of the involved groups.
“Sir, do you know who is fighting inside the park?” one of the news reporters asked one of the onlookers.
“No, not really. I only heard that maybe Phantom Force was one of the groups involved, but I can’t confirm this,” said the on-looker.
“You mean Phantom Force, the number 46th ranked strike team globally,” questioned the reporter again.
“Yep, that’s the one, but I can’t be certain,” said the on-looker, leaving the reporter and the audience in suspense about the potential involvement of Phantom Force.
The reporter then moved up on the crowd, trying to get closer to the park's entrance. He pushed and shoved people out of the way as he made his way to the very front.
As he walked inside, he spotted what looked like a tornado inside the park.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, as you can see, we have some fascinating weather phenomena inside the park. Could this be caused by one of the fighters? We have seen some of the more prominent Alphas able to cause small weather phenomena before, so this is getting very interesting,” said the reporter as he walked towards the inside of the park.
As the reporter approached a clearance inside the park, he spotted more onlookers watching something near the tree line on the other side.
As he approached, he stopped next to the onlookers.
His eyes quickly focused on the area ahead of him; he couldn’t help but feel like he was walking into one of the war battle zones.
Craters and blast marks tore apart the whole area. Trees were broken on both sides of the clearance, and just a bit more ahead of where they were standing lay the bodies of three Alphas; some were cut in half, and others were cut into pieces.
“Guys, what’s going on here? “he said in total surprise.
One of the onlookers turned around to look at him. He then gestured to the reporter to keep quiet by putting his finger on his leaps. While with the other hand, he pointed to the other side of the clearing.
Quickly, the reporter looked forward and spotted one of the fighters, Kamil, blasting Damian with his glaive weapon.
He quickly lifted his CAD, which was outfitted with new casting accessories. He instantly started transmitting live.
“This is Alliance news reporting from Cleaburn Park; as you can see, it looks like a warzone inside the park. We have bodies and body parts scattered all over the place,” said the report as he panned out to get a broader few of the field, showing the war-like condition it was in.
As far as the body, he only glided over them but did not zoom in to get a better picture. Their condition was just too gory.
“But let me tell you, the fighting has not stopped yet,” he said as he zoomed in to the other side of the clearing where Kamil and Damian were fighting.
“It looks like one of the combatants is down for the count; he looks injured. Wait a minute. They seem to be having a conversation of sorts. Let's listen in to see if we can pick up the audio,” said the report, desperately trying to pick up some audio feed on his CAD.
But he was only picking up the whistling sound from the Tornado-like vortex about 50 feet behind Kamil and Damian.
“I’m sorry, guys, but we can't seem to pick up the audio,” said the reporter.
The reporter then reached over to talk to the onlooker next to him. He wanted to ask him if he knew why they were fighting.
“Good Day, sir; this is Alliance News reporting live. I want to ask you a quick question,” he said to the onlooker.

“Do you happen to see how this confrontation started and who the parties involved might be? I heard that maybe Phantom Force was involved,” he finished asking.
“Man, keep your voice down unless you want to die,” said the onlooker.
“Yeah, it is Phantom Force or what is left of them; those three bodies there make up three-fourths of the phantom team, all of them killed by, we think is, the guy kneeling. Unfortunately, he couldn’t get past Kamil, who is the heart and soul of Phantom,” whispered the onlooker.
“You heard here on Alliance news first, folks, it is Phantom Force fighting, but it seems they met an equally tough rival as three of the four members have perished. Only Kamil is still standing on the other side,” reporter the newsman.
“The other team must have been one hard nut to crack, as they even forced Kamil to bring out his trump card, his Molten Armor,” reported the newsman.
Although it had been about 30 minutes since the fighting started and less than 10 minutes since the news started reporting, all eyes were glued to the holo displays across most cities.
Although the fighting was common, it was primarily small, unnamed, and unranked individuals, so no live reporting was done. Fighting among high-ranking teams was very rare, especially in death matches like this one. This type of deathmatch was usually reserved for entertainment, where much money could be made in betting or where stakes were even higher.
“Folks, something is happening here; Kamil from the team Phantom is approaching the other individual; he took out his blade. I think this is it, folks; this is the final scene,” the reporter said excitedly.
Just as Kamil was about to kill Damian, a massive explosion from the tornado-like vortex behind them happened.
BOOM!
Dirt and dust blew everywhere as a massive dust storm arose inside the park. The middle of the park went dark from the dust clouds.
“Cough, Cough, ladies and gentlemen, something has happened here at Cleaburn Park. Just seconds ago, a vast explosion picked up a lot of dust, dirt, and debris. We are still waiting for the air to clear to get a better picture of what is happening on the other side.
After about 5 minutes, the air started cleaning up, and the park's interior was visible again.
The reporter looked up to see if Kamil had finished the fight, only to be startled and surprised by the appearance of a third individual.
“Oh my God, this is so incredible, folks; a third person has appeared, but he is floating in mid-air. How can this be?” said the reporter as he pointed the camera at the end of the CAD towards where the fighting was happening.
“I had never seen anyone elevate like that. Yes, wind skills can make you jump higher or skip on air, but I have never seen one that keeps you floating. Also, he seems to be wearing some reactive armor; it keeps shifting around, which makes it look very cool, to say the least,” said the reporter as he was finding it hard to explain, but the video spoke volumes.
“They are at a standstill; oh, what is that? There seems to be something golden manifesting in the new guy's hand. It looks like a golden crescent blade or something.”
“Oh, what will Kamil do? Is he going to use his….” were the words the reporter was using before he stopped. His eyes looked like they had just seen a miracle.
In the next instance, on a live news feed, Kamil from Phantom Force was killed like it was nothing. His head detached from his body as it fell to the side; his body just limped over and fell next to it.
“Folks, I’m not sure how to explain this, but this new guy just cut off Kamil's head. No one can do this, but what makes it extremely impressive, even godlike, is that he cut it off while Kamil had his Molter Armor on. That is not supposed to happen, folks, this new guy….WOW,” were the reporter's words as he hyperventilated from reporting the scene.
On the other side. Khyrum was still having trouble with the new skills. He couldn't believe they were that badass.
“Damian, did you see that? I just cut off his head as if he was a straw dummy,” I said as I glided towards Damian, who still had this shocked look on his face.
“What the hell did you just use, prime? That shit is unbelievably powerful,” he said as he kept staring at Kamil’s head.
“Prime, thanks for saving my life; I thought I was a fucking goner as I watched him approach,” said Damian.
“That's not a problem. You bought me enough time to bring out his bad boy,” I said as I pointed to myself.
“Yeah, what the fuck is that? It's so dammed cool, especially the shifting mist mask. Do you think I could get one myself,” said Damian with anticipation.
“Shit, I don’t know myself yet, but I doubt you can get one. Anyway, how are we going to explain this.”
“Don't worry, Prime. I’ll take care of it. Let's go….” But before Damian could finish, he spotted people walking towards them.
After looking at them for a minute, Damian face changed to one with a serious look.
“Prime, this isn’t good; the guy at the front is the lead reporter, Brock Howard, from Alliance News. We can’t let him report on you,” he said stone-faced.
“Take off; I’ll stall him to buy you enough time to get out here.”
I looked at him, a little confused,
“Why do I need to leave? I have nothing to hide except my face, but it was all self-defense,” I said confidently.
Damian looked at me and just shook his head in denial.
“Prime, how are you going to explain your skills? Do you want everyone prying into your life,” he said sternly.
Shit my skills, I hadn’t thought of that. Damian was right; how would I explain myself if they tried to interview me?
“Alright, Damian. I’ll take off first, then. Thanks for covering for me. I’ll see you at Mt. Ethos,” I said as I turned around to leave.
As the reporter and the other onlookers approached, Khyrum activated his wind step and took off, gliding the other way at top speed.
In less than 10 seconds, he was already out of sight from everyone else.
“Excuse me, sir. Why did your partner take off? Does he have something to hide?” the reporter asked Damian.
“My partner?” he thought about it briefly before answering.
“Well, my partner is very secretive and does not like to give interviews,” said Damian.
“Really, and why not? Mr.??” asked Brock.
“My name is Damian, and my partner's name is PRIME!”
