Laura was sitting next to Erika in the living room; she was glaring at Tristan who was walking the room up and down in front of them. After they had come back from school Tristan had requested for a group meeting before, he his usual leave.
“So, what’s this all about? Didn’t you insist to work things out on yourself?” Erika asked as she was sitting on the couch having her legs and arms crossed in front of her.
“Well… I kinda did.” Tristan answered, struggling to act shy.
“I managed to become friends with the target, with that I mean real friends.” Erika looked impressed at Tristan and showed him a warm smile.
“And you already convinced her to join us from her free will?” Erika asked with an impressed voice.
“Actually, I did not, not yet at least. The reason I requested this meeting was because yesterday we met a party of Seraph while hanging out close the Great Park.” Tristan answered with a serious voice.
“How do you know about them being Seraphs? Did they try and fight you? If they did, I’m sure I would have heard of it.” Erika was now also standing and staring directly into Tristan’s eyes.
“No, we did not fight.” Tristan said while shaking his head.
“So, how can you be so sure of their race?” Erika asked once again.
“Ai’s active lets her see the mana signature of people, and she told me today those people had a strange aura just like we do and thus, she falsely assumed they were the new family of our long lost father.” Tristan reported, what had happened after he had apologized to Ai during lunch break.
“Good to know.” Erika answered lost in thoughts.
“I know, I was the one that requested you to withdraw the bodyguards around us, to not arise needless suspicion, but I get the feeling this might get ugly if we don’t increase the security around her.” Tristan continued to suggest a way of solving the problem.
“But please do it without her noticing it, which will be really difficult since she has that troublesome ability, but I still believe in our agents.” Tristan gave a fearless smile as these words left his mouth.
“So you want to tell me, that you really want to continue the mission? Right now, is the correct time for the two of you to retreat, no one would get mad if you did so, you know.” Erika gave them a reassuring smile.
“Never!” Laura butted into their conversation.
‘I can’t let this mission end yet! I haven’t gotten any merits yet, I tried by best, but as usual, I’m a step behind him… How frustrating! How come I can’t surpass him just once? If I keep being this weak and useless, I won’t be able to reach mom’s dream. I have to show them, that I’m ready and someone to count on!’ Laura bit her lips as Tristan’s and Erika’s eyes were now glued on her.
“No, she is right, I can’t stop now.” Tristan said with an earnest smile. “At first I didn’t like the idea of coming to Terra to become the fake friends with that poor girl, but now I genuinely care for her, so I can’t let her on her own, especially when she needs me the most!”
Erika gave him a warm smile. “Although, I’ m impressed about your resolve, I can’t let you run wild, especially because you got already noticed by the enemy. By now I’m sure they already have the area you were spotted in guarded and secured.”

Tristan nodded as he heard Erika’s words. “I know it’s selfish, but would you let us handle this? You just need to place your guards in the safe distance from us, so they can react if something happens.”
“IF SOMETHING HAPPENS? REACT? You say those words so easily, but how about ACTING BEFORE SOMETHING HAPPENS? I promised to take good care of you, so I can’t let you get harmed!” Erika replied hysterically.
“What about you put as many guards as you want around us, and Laura and me become an inseparable duo that always acts together?” Tristan suggested, while Laura nodded wildly, by now standing next to Tristan.
“You, mean that the two of you will take care of each other?” Erika asked in deep thought.
“Yeah, where ever I go with Ai, she’ll be there with me and vice versa.” Tristan reassured while Laura kept nodding.
“Yeah, we may not look like it, but we can take care of ourselves.” Laura finally added.
“You may say so, but I really can’t…”
“Pretty please, we can’t betray our friend and leave her while she needs us the most!” Laura said using her most effective weapon: her puppy eyes.
“Gosh, don’t look at me that way. Fine, I will talk with Melodias about it and then we’ll see.” Erika said, taking out her Commu and leaving the room for a while.
Solum (30.11.9978 AS)
Tristan and Laura were on the way to Tristan’s and Ai’s usual training spot, Erika and Melodias had allowed them to continue the mission, under the condition they both look out for each other.
“Thanks for helping me out there.” Tristan said with an earnest tone.
“No problem, I didn’t want this mission to end either, at least not until I got my chance to shine.” Laura answered.
“Yeah, I guessed so, but still thanks for helping me out, after I treated you so badly there.”
“It’s all forgotten, you had your reasons and I had mine, so we’re quit.”
“…”
“One month, I got one more month to show, what I’m capable of.” Laura said and smiled determined.
“Yeah, I they gave us one month to convince Ai about joining us, this blows up all my plans.” Tristan said with a disappointed voice.
“That’s so you, you always have a plan… So what was your plan?”
Tristan gave a devilish smile before answering. “Actually, I had no plan; I was just acting on my gut feeling.”
“…” Laura walking and looked Tristan, who also stopped, in disbelieve.
Tristan continued smiling. “Thinking back, I don’t think I could have come far, if I was trying so hard like you did, also she and I have a lot in common, so being real friends with her is no actual problem.”
“You, know that I hate you.” Larua said before she started to laugh out loud.

As usual Bella was sitting on a red couch in her private chambers, the head of a young blonde on her laps. Bella gave a charming smile as she said. “It’s been long since you visited in such a bad mood.”
“Really? How can I not be in a bad mood when my people are slaying the innocent?”
“So, what are they planning to do?”
“You’re a God, shouldn’t you know the best?”
“Just because we’re God’s it doesn’t mean that our society doesn’t have any rules.” Bella said offended. “Just for your knowledge, it’s rude for a God to peak over the mortals under the juridification of another God.”
“But to mess with me is totally ok?”
Bella nodded happily “You my little angel are an exception. Also, it would look bad if I spend all day looking after Fors world, I just can sometimes steal a small peak over his world... So tell me, what did you find out.”
“Well, you see there was a guy with greenish-grey eyes who walked in to me…” Clair told Bella everything that had happened after her meeting with Tristan.
“So, you said greenish-grey eyes? Couldn’t it be greyish-green?” Bella asked with an evil smile.
“If I think about it, yeah, greyish-green might be the better way to describe it.” Clair answered getting a little suspicious of Bella’s reaction. “Wait… Bella? Did I miss something? Why do you know the color of his eyes?”
“I didn’t know, I promise, my long lost brother’s eyes had the same color.” Bella denied trying to hold back a giggle.
“Oh… Ok, but what should I do? They are trying to kill him now, and he’s completely innocent!” Clair asked with a sad voice.
“How can you be so sure, he’s innocent? Also, why even bothering with him?” Bella answered Clair’s question with more questions.
“I don’t know why I assume he is innocent, but I just feel like he is. And I can’t let him all alone if he is innocent!”
“I never knew you cared for others, I always thought, you were really self-centered.”
“I’m not! So, can you help me out this time?”
“Yes, yes, your highness, if you really think you should safe him, than you can use this item.” Bella took off one of the many rings she was wearing and gave it to Clair. “If you really, believe you have to safe him, than this ring will lead you to him.” She gave Clair a teasing smile.
“Anyways, our time is up, now give mommy a kiss and go back to the world of mortals.” Bella said while hugging Clair till she vanished in a sea of golden bubbles.
