Laura felt like she was about to get smashed by two invisible walls. “What’s going on?!”
Sariel had not moved one inch since the start of their battle smiled at the panicking Laura. “Given up already? Sounds like a plan to me, the idiot over there is getting his ass handled.” She pointed towards Viktor who was all bloody crawling on the floor.
‘And again, he’s ahead of me!’ Laura thought while anger lit up in her heart. ‘I don’t think he took the easier opponent, if I think about his personality he probably chose to fight the stronger one! So why aren’t I able to handle a single Seraph? I shouldn’t be much weaker than him! Why didn’t I notice the enemies before anyone else? Why is he always ahead of me? All he does is read books in his free time, meanwhile I spend my days off training with mom!’
“So why doesn’t my training pay off?!” Laura screamed as she burst free from the invisible cage she was forced into, by creating a vacuum around the cage she was in.
“How?” Sariel exclaimed in surprise. “You shouldn’t be able to escape from ‘Impenetrable Fortress’!” She said the name of her active, while dumbfounded.
The exhausted Laura landed on all fours. “Nothing is impossible.” She slowly stood up, still shaky, she walked she sent Sariel a bright smile.
“Why are you smiling? You are still in the back foot, aren’t you? You can’t use that one leg anymore and you used all your mana to burst out from that cage and you can’t pass my ‘Impenetrable Fortress’ no matter how much you try! What should be funny about your situation?!”
It was the first time in Sariel’s life that she had lost cool. Chills ran down her spine as she saw Laura smile so genuine in such a situation. She just couldn’t get why she was so happy about a small win, in a forlorn situation.
“Say, you think you’re the only one that is able to use long range attacks?” Laura asked and casted her magic, creating a gigantic magic circle above Sariel’s head. The magic circle activated and Sariel was thrown towards the circle at full speed.
“Wait!!!” Sairel screamed as she lost the soil from under her feet.
“Not done yet!” Laura answered creating another magic circle under Sariel. Once again as the magic circle activated Sariel was sucked towards the floor and landed face on, on the floor. Not even Sariel’s defensive barriers could help her since Laura was pushing her down with a force equal to 1000 times the usual gravity.
Laura took two pills out of her pocket and swallowed them in regret. ‘Sorry mom, I ended up using them, although you told me avoid the use of them.’ A tear flowed down her cheeks as the effects of one of the pills she had taken kicked in: Laura suddenly felt a burst of power going through her body, all the fatigue from the fight was gone, no, not only the used power was restored, but she could feel power beyond of her limits.
“AHAHAHAH” She laughed maniacally as she felt the power covering her entire being.
The ecstasy caused by the sudden power burst was soon gone as the effect of the second pill kicked in: Laura felt her feelings going numb: the pain coming from her left leg, gone; the pain of being squeezed in Sariels invisible prison, gone and so was the pain caused by her regrets. Feeling numbness in her soul, Laura smiled like a broken doll as she wiped the tears from her face.
Her bloodshot eyes landed on Sariel, who was still struggling to move under the effect of her gravity magic. “Here. I. Come.” She whispered loud enough for everyone else to hear.

Tristan charged with all he got at Viktor, who was still struggling to get the words and lances out of his body. With an elegant slice, Viktor’s head was chopped off his body. Blood spread all over the ground, while Tristan jumped back, avoiding Viktor’s blood getting on his clothes.
“I wish there was a more elegant method.” Tristan summoned a gigantic war hammer from his armory. “Well, I guess it’s time to smash.” He said as he leapt over Viktor’s motionless body ready to smash Viktor’s fuming head.

‘I just can’t take this anymore!’
*Sigh*
Clair stood up and walked towards the door of the room, soon to be stopped by Kayle.
“Where are you going?” Kayle asked with a dubious tone of voice.
“I’m going to refresh myself a little.” Clair answered with an honest voice.
“Oh.” Kayle took back her seat.
Clair ran out of the room toward the restroom. Once there, she closed the doors and opened the Windows. ‘Now that is done, all I need to do is to figure out how this ring works.’
“I want to save that Elder!” She said at the piece of jewelry, but nothing happened.
‘Hmm, what’s wrong with this ring? Why doesn’t it transport me towards that boy?’ She thought as she once again said the words “Please take me to that boy, he really needs me to safe him!” while remembering Tristan’s face, his greyish green eyes and his rude behavior towards her. She remembered how she had tried to hide the dissatisfaction of his rejection back then and the annoyance she had felt as he had run away with another woman in his hands!
With her eyes still closed, she felt being sucked into nothingness, and how the room she had been in, distorted as a new scenery overtook it.
Not knowing where she was, she felt the urged to scream her honest feelings towards the world:
“WAIT!!DON’TKILLHIM,EVENIFHEISAWILDELDERHEDESERVESTOLIVE!!”
Clair slowly opened her eyes, noticing the change of scenery, but what was the scene being displayed in front of her eyes?! Of all the things she could have imagined to find in this place, the first thing she saw wasn’t one of them: Viktor’s headless body.
“Gods, not another one!” The annoyed Tristan looked towards Clair with a bored look. “I hope you don’t mind waiting your turn, I still have to rid myself of this idiot.” Tristan once again started gaining momentum as he moved towards Viktor swinging the oversized Warhammer, ready to smash the fuming head.
Clair observed Tristan’s action and hesitated for a moment. ‘What is going on? Wasn’t he supposed to be the one getting killed and not the one killing that idiot? On the other hand, I don’t mind killing that idiot, if so, my future wouldn’t look so grim… But if he kills that idiot, I would have to fight him one on one and someone strong enough to wipe the floor with that idiot must be strong…’
With a nod, she decided, what would be the wisest thing to do and not what her gut feeling told to. She vanished into thin air and suddenly appeared in front of Tristan that was charging at Viktor. With a graceful movement she performed a roundhouse kick which sent Tristan flying.
“Sorry, I’m not confident of being able to beat you all by myself” She said and summoned two bastard swords similar to the ones Tristan had just thrown away. She said nothing more and once again disappeared from Tristan’s field of vision. Without slowing her pace, she swung her swords aiming at Tristan throat.
“What?” Clair exclaimed as Tristan had blocked her attack with the jet black blade of his sword.
‘What was that?!’ Tristan was as surprised as Clair as he blocked the attack. ‘Sorry partner, I had to take action, so I took over your body, and if you don’t mind I would like to take over for now, you still have to train a lot to be able to match her speed.’ Schattenklinge pointed out. ‘Don’t mind me, I already thought I was a goner.’ Tristan answered as he let Schattenklige complete control over his body.
Clair once again disappeared. “Tell me why! Why are you so strong? Weren’t you supposed to be just an Elder?” She asked Tristan as she continued moving in god speed around Tristan.
‘If you can, don’t kill her, just paralyze her or something the like.’ Tristan asked Schattenklinge as the latter was controlling his body. ‘My foresight ability doesn’t want me to hurt her.’ Tristan explained to Schattenklinge, who didn’t care about anything, but the joys of the battle, he was about to fight.
“HEYAREYOUMOKINGME?!” Clair’s voice sounded irritated, as she hadn’t received an answer from Tristan.
“Your highness, watch out he isn’t an Elder, he is a full Demon!” said Viktor once his body was completely recovered.
Tristan or better said Schattenklinge, didn’t pay Viktor any heed and disappeared into thin air. He had matched Clair’s speed and began swinging his sword at her with steady moments.
For the first time in Clair’s life, someone had matched her god speed. Clair didn’t know what do to, but to try parrying all the incoming attacks. She managed so, quite well, but in a moment of carelessness she was sent flying by a stark swing of Tristan’s sword she barely managed to parry with her own swords.
Clair’s body landed next to Sariel’s battered body. “Your highness… I’m sorry…” Sariel whispered to Clair before losing consciousness.
For the past minutes Laura had been using her body like a punching bag. Sariel’s barrier didn’t stand a chance against Laura’s fist covered in gravity her magic, with every punch Laura landed, she changed the gravity point around Sariel’s body, causing Sariel to lose control over her body and to soon lose the protection of her barriers.
Laura smiled like only like a devil could and once again charged towards Sariel’s motionless body. She wanted to make sure Sariel stayed motionless forever.
So did Schattenklinge, one leap was enough for him to cut the distance between him and his prey.
