Pantheon of the Great Lord of Time (15.7.9973 AS)
After opening his eyes Tristan realized he wasn’t in the temple anymore. He could barely move his body out of pain. The pain was too much for him. Tristan felt like his body was shredded in thousand pieces.
A few minutes passed before the pain in his body was almost gone and Tristan was able to recover his senses. He looked up and saw two big mountains covered in blue silk. Soon he realized his head was resting on the lap of a woman. A woman he had never met. The woman seemed to have noticed that Tristan was awake now. Her beautiful face appeared behind her majestic bosom.
“Nice, you have awoken, boy” said the woman with a seductive voice. She noticed how the boy became redder and redder. ‘Do my powers even work on children? Interesting. How can I use this in the future?’ she wondered smiling mischievously. The boy sat up and tried to put as much distance as possible between him and the unknown beauty.
“Are you sure you don’t want to enjoy my lap pillow?” she asked in a teasing manner. “Most of the men in this universe would kill to have an opportunity like this. On the other hand, you are still a kid and won’t probably know what opportunity you’re missing out by acting so spoiled” She mocked the boy who was clearly flustered. So flustered she couldn’t help but to tease the boy a little more. “Are you sure you won’t regret it? Don’t worry, I won’t bite unless you are into it!” she winked with her right eye.
“Who…. Who are you?” Tristan asked trembling. “You are such a spoilsport!” the mysterious woman answered with a disappointed tone. “Anyways, sorry for having to summon you here in such a manner, but you know, I wouldn’t be able to talk to you without being monitored using other ways of communication.” She apologized.
“Oh, where are my manners! My name is Bella and I’m the goddess of beauty and desire, Queen of the realm of gods and an unforgiving bitch. At least that’s how most of the people around the universe know me” She claimed proudly.
“I know you may have many questions right now. Like ‘What does that beautiful and gracious goddess want from this unworthy me? And more blablabla’” she rolled her eyes. “But you know we don’t have much time. So just I will speak and you will listen carefully.”
“Let’s start by saying sorry. I’m sorry about having caused you and your family so much sorrow by bestowing you these abilities and that prophecy. I also wanted to tell you don’t hate your parents I’m sure they love you a lot and everything they did so far to you is for your sake. And don’t try to question it. I’m a goddess. I’m all-knowing. But it wouldn’t be bad if you let them think you hate them this might become handy to you in the future.” She said while bowing her head to the confused boy.
“You see I’m the one to blame for everything bad that happened to you since the day of your birthday. And I’m gonna be honest with you. The path I’ve chosen for you is a rocky one and full of suffering and sorrow. So give always your best and think that in the end everything will work out, somehow. So if you want to blame someone, blame me. I’m willing to take full responsibility.” She said in an earnest voice, looking up to the puzzled Tristan.

“You see I was the one who gave you, your abilities. Your ‘useless’ passive and your ‘weak’ active were bestowed to you by none other than me. And don’t think it is because I hate you. No, it is because I have trust in your abilities, in your spiritual and mental strength. I know you won’t break easily no matter what happens to you.” She gave Tristan a soothing smile.
“I know the powers I gave you don’t sound as flashy as the ones other people in your world have. But if you train your abilities, they can make you into the strongest being in your world. I won’t reveal everything to you because that wouldn’t be fun, right? So I will give you just some hints on how to use your abilities.”
“Let’s start with your active. You know, many people think you can just summon things through your gates. But I’m sure you are smart enough to figure out some other ways to use your gates. ‘Telekinesis’ and ‘Resonance’ are spells you should learn since they harmonize so well with it.”
“Now let’s continue with your passive. You should know that skill is so much more than just knowledge. Let’s say that knowledge is just a side product of your passive. When you wake up you will realize that the way how you perceive the world has changed completely. Thanks to this passive you will know how the world around you works and you will also know how to make the world around you stop working.”
“Since this passive enhances your senses you will have to promise me one thing. Always listen to your animal drives. If they tell you to kill, you kill. If they tell you to love, you love. If you don’t listen to your gut feelings horrible things might happen to you. It is really important for you to understand that.” Bella waited for Tristan to nod.
She then continued “I also have a present for you: You aren’t bound to fate! This means you can choose whatever path you like to take; Fate won’t interfere with your choices. Fate won’t notice you no matter what you do! But that also means fate won’t protect you. If you choose poorly you might end up dead.” Bella paused.
“So why have I chosen you? And why am I telling you all this? Well, as I already mentioned earlier, I have faith in your abilities and your mental fortitude. So I’m sure you can become strong enough to defy ‘Fate’ and save your world from the gruesome things that are to come, if you don’t do so.”
“And to the second question…. Well… I thought it would have been way more fun to let you figure out everything by yourself, but my dear husband had another opinion.” She pointed towards a well build youth in the corner of the room. Aetas waved and smiled. “So I had no other choice but to tell you everything” Bella pouted.
She hugged Tristan who didn’t know what to say. “We will meet again someday in the future” Bella whispered and gave Tristan a kiss on his forehead.
Tristan started floating. Just as he was about to hit the ceiling everything went black in front of his eyes. He had lost consciousness again.
Nocturnio (21.7.9973 AS)
Tristan opened his eyes. There was no pain. He realized he was back to his world. One week had passed since he collapsed after the sealing was undone. Nana was holding his hand tightly. “Welcome back. I was so worried,” she said in a tired voice. She let go of his hand and went out to look for a doctor.
Tristan was lying on one of the beds in the temple. In the same room here were many other beds like the one he was lying in. They were all empty.
Temples were used similar to hospitals by poor people. So every priest was able to perform healing rituals and to make medicine.
As Tristan sat up, he started to notice some strange red spots on everything he saw. He suddenly knew how all the things in the room were created and how they worked. He also knew that if he were to press the spots with enough energy the things would break. “… you will know how the world around you works and you will also know how to make the world stop working…” He repeated Bella’s words, realizing that the weird dream he just had had, hadn’t been just a dream.
