“Can you tell me why it is wrong to interfere with the other two races?” An elderly looking woman asked towards her only student: Clair.
“Because they are dangerous?” Clair answered the question with another question.
The old woman pleased as she heard the answer. “It’s not just that they’re dangerous, it’s also that we’re dangerous to them.” Clair looked at her teacher with big eyes.
“I know you were thinking about things like the Great War, when the Demons tried to take over the world just because they thought they were the superior race. But we stood our ground against them and they finally gave up.” The old tutor said proud.
‘But Bella said we were the ones that started the war because of Fors lies! And then the Demons wiped the floor with us... But what does she know, it’s not like she’s a goddess.’ Clair thought amused as she heard the words of her teacher.
“But that’s not all the evil that comes from associating with the other races. The most critical point on why the influencing the other races is wrong is because of their development. Do you think humans would have magic if we hadn’t influenced them?”
Clair rolled her eyes.
“If we and those stupid Demons hadn’t given them magic, they would have continued developing with only their technology and they wouldn’t be able to harm us. But no! They has to go out of their way and give them magic and now they’re able to build weapons to harm us. And don’t get me started with those elders!”
The old woman started to become all red as she was ranting about the other races.
“There is nothing more infuriating than those Elders! They are the breed between Demons and Humans! And the Demons use them to control the Humans, since the Elders are Superhumans and thus rule over their kind.”
The old woman wiped the sweat from her forehead. “The Demons programmed them to hate us! Althought, they couldn’t take over the world thanks to our efforts, they started to take over the human world by brainwashing their leaders. But we won’t make it easy for them. Daily we send brave warriors to prevent stray elders to being recognized by the Demons and to prevent their brainwashing!”
‘Does she seriously believe what she’s talking about? Or did she just drink too much Ambrosia this morning?’ Clair thought amused about her teachers passionate hatred towards the other races.
***KNOCK, KNOCK***
A bulky man in his forties entered the room. Most of his face was covered by a bushy beard so that one could only see his deep green eyes. Two big white wings were visible from under his armor.

Clair who couldn’t bear one more word from the old female tutor exclaimed towards her saviour: “Dietrich!” She left her place and ran towards the armored knight. “It’s been a while since I last saw you!” She continued hugging Dietrich.
“Well I had things to take care of. There were quite a few skirmishes with the Demons near our headquarters in Terra. But nothing to worry about, they were just searching for criminals that are able to travel between the dimensions.”
Dietrich smiled. “But now to our little princess, did you manage to survive the past few weeks?”
“Barely.” Claire said with a tired look. “But now that my knight is back, I know everything is going to be ok. And just so you know I didn’t slack off, just because you were gone. Everyday I trained very hard and I even advanced to the Seraph Lord Level!
Dietrich patted Clair’s head. “I didn’t expect less from my little genius. What about it, wanna spar a few minutes?”
Clair’s face brightened. “Do you even have to ask?” She looked towards her teacher. “I’m sorry Miss Tutor, I would love to hear more of your rant towards the other races. But I think I shouldn’t waste an opportunity to hone my practical fighting skills. I mean you all want a strong future empress if those despicable Demons ever think of launching an attack towards us.”
Even before the Tutor could answer, Clair was already on her way out of the room.
***
Dietrich and Clair were standing in front of each other in one of the big training rooms of the Castle Solei. “Now show me what you’ve learned in my absence” Dietrich said as he drew his long sword and brought his shield in position.
Clair did the same and got ready for the fight, by drawing her two bastard swords. “You’ll soon realize how strong I’ve gotten in the past weeks.” Clair said before vanishing into thin air.
“I see, you still like to play around with your speed.” Dietrich pointed out as he closed his eyes.
He slowly bowed and evaded a double strike by Clair. Who vanished again as soon as she realized she missed her strikes.
“Not bad old man!” She smiled as she was moving with godspeed through the room. She one again appeared next to Dietrich to scream: “I wish I had that overpowered ability of yours!”
Dietrich forcefully opened his eyes. “You little witch!” He roared as he couldn't help holding onto the ear she had screamed into.
“Fighting rule number five. Use the strength of your opponent to make him trip.” Claire appeared in front of Dietrich making a mocking grimace. “You were the one who thought me that!” She once again disappeared into thin air.
“You’re right.” Dietrich smiled as his sword started to glow in a golden light, before starting to swing it like crazy. Every time his sword cut through the air a golden light continued slicing everything in its way just to get paired by Clair’s swords.
Every light slice was dodged or paired by the smiling Clair. “You seem to still be really good old one!” She said throwing one of her swords towards Dietrich, who barely managed to dodge the sword.
“NOW!” she screamed as the sword was passing next to Dietrich’s body. The sword suddenly lit up and electricity discharged from the sword onto Dietrich.
“Got you!” Clair mumbled as she once again vanished into thin air and appeared in front of Dietrich to make sure he surrendered.
***But***
Against all odds Dietrich was able to move and grabbed Clair’s arms preventing her from moving. “You’ve gotten pretty good my princess, but there is still a lot you need to learn. Rule number 99 never show all your cards to your enemy.” Dietrich said letting go of Clair’s arms.
“Yes master!” Clair saluted towards Dietrich. “New battle rule memorized!”
