He had done it! He had built an artifact in the cosmic order. His existence was no longer bound by the rules and restrictions of mortals.
His existence had become incomprehensible. His destiny was becoming mysterious!
But such power came at a cost. He had lost nearly all of his memories. He was experiencing time all at once. The choices and calculations had left him paralyzed.
He had become a cold calculating machine.
But there was a hint of something else left.
The Original Mind had access to every multiverse in the layer of reality of his origin.
He could tap into the matrix of reality. He could view the information and experiences of alternate versions of himself. All versions except one had fused together. Giving him endless processing power. As well as endless willpower.
But, even these remnant wills couldn't help wake him up from this daze.
He should've become a simple program. No emotions. No Desires.
This should've been the end of the story.
But on his A.I Chip. He had left a bit of data.
A scavenger had found the chip and read the data.
"Origin of Calamity. The cursed! Emflowcreagen. I pray for a connection..."
John had previously lost all motivation. He had done something insane to destroy himself. He had cut himself off from the infinite.
But a connection was opened up from the prayer.
A star appeared in the infinite layer of the calamity realm.
John started to laugh.
"You think you can overwrite me!?"
John had stolen the body of the person that prayed to him. Unfortunately, John was no longer compatible with humans. The amount of information he processed at once put a heavy strain on the soul.
So John stepped outside of the body.
That's right. He lacked both a soul and a body. He was existing in this world off of pure willpower alone!
He easily acquired a body and purposefully weakened his senses.
How did he do this? He cut off the connection with his concept.
He easily dealt with the problems of the new body. He then cultivated until foundation establishment.
He found a way. Becoming a core formation soon. But he wasn't able to become a nascent soul so easily. So he cheated.
Praying to his concept. He opened the connection.
For a brief instant. His abilities surpassed the gods. He used infinite processing power to form a marvelous plan, forcefully condensing a nascent soul.
He then acquired an astral stone and made an astral gateway. He jumped in and ignited himself. Then followed the pathway of a ghost.
Just like one could sever emotions. Once could also sever vices. His inaction. His emotionless state. This was his target.
He then severed a vice. Allowing his emotions to return to himself.
He had become spirit severing.

The whole point for doing all of this was to acquire his power again. So he destroyed his spirit severing body and cut it into millions of pieces.
He allowed these parts to blow in the wind of the astral.
These parts become assimilated by other universes.
He then invaded these worlds like a parasite. Even finding the wizard world and taking control of one of the founders of Deathless.
Death.
He used this body to get in contact with himself.
The stars in the infinite layer of the calamity realm became full of stars once again. But the gods and hidden existences in the calamity realm didn't have permission to invade reality yet.
There was heavy resistance from his skeletal body.
John brought his skeletal body into the calamity realm and used numbers to overwhelm himself.
He eventually fused with himself.
He then did something unthinkable.
He rewound time itself and went back to the accident that caused himself to create a concept. He stopped himself from triggering the formation that collapsed the abyss.
He prevented his own origin!
But he was mysterious! He had an artifact in the cosmic order. He wasn't so easily wiped out.
The calamity realm no longer existed.
John had a body with no origin.
He had a soul with no origin.
His concept existed in the cosmic order.
His existence itself was never born.
He had lost interest in this container of multiverses. He had a simple wish. That was to surpass himself!
John remembered Gaia had talked about higher realities.
Worlds, where his reality were considered mere fiction.
John took a step and broke through the layer of reality that separated fiction.
He looked upon all of these pure souls.
There was a reaction of reality rejecting him. His existence followed the logic of the world he had come from.
But this didn't matter.
With the wave of his hand.
He reconstructed the calamity realm.
He linked the chaos realm.
He adjusted the abyss.
He made it so such things had always existed.
He had always existed...
He opened up portals allowing eldritch beings and gods to invade this new reality.
"Finally... I am free!"
Realities rules were still trying to erase him. So he took his skeletal body into the calamity realm. He went to the infinite layer. He submerged himself in the blue sun and entered a weird state.
"I haven't followed the traditional path of power. I still am technically not a supreme being. This world used to lack supernatural power entirely. If I leave the calamity realm. This universe will try to erase my existence."
John tried to tap into the matrix of the multiverse.
But it seemed in this world. He lacked the permissions.
He was however able to tap into the matrix of this universe.
"How interesting..."
"It seems I need to somehow acquire more power."
"If I am to restart as a human. I don't plan to play by the rules. The world is extremely dangerous now with the addition of gods. I should give myself a tool to survive. Something to help me grow."
John began to think in infinites.
"That's it! A golden finger! My immortality in my past reality was quite overpowered. Doing the same thing again would be boring."
John began to think about the previous characteristics of the calamity realm.
"With my curse of calamity. I was initially forced to respawn upon death. That will need to be a function in my cheat."
John began to create a soul. He created a soulverse as easily as one would blink. He then realized the issue.
"If I attach the function to the soul. Then if the soul is shattered. The system will be gone. If I make the soul unbreakable..."
So John created an eternal and unbreakable soul to test.
Once it left the calamity realm. It began to dissipate.
John also found out something crucial from his subordinates.
The eldritch beings and gods were also restricted in this new world! Some of the ones that had invaded had already died and respawned in the calamity realm.
"I'm forced to have an ordinary soul... what a pity."
"But that doesn't mean I can't cheat."
John began to create an ancient 'will'. That's right. He planned to have the system attached to the will versus the soul. This meant that he could do some things like have the will be the real carrier of his consciousness. The soul could be discarded and he would retain this new system he was building. The true source of his consciousness would be this 'will'.
'The Calamity System'.
This system had a few functions.
1.) Revival Function: When the user dies. Respawn (Erases corpse upon respawn).
2.) Waypoint Function: Can set waypoints to respawn at.
3.) Explosion Function: Can self detonate.
4.) Storage Function: Infinite storage space.
5.) Soul Revival Function: Soul can respawn as well (if destroyed).
