To understand the difference between a true existence and a global existence. You must understand what a true existence is in the first place.
Existence is quite mysterious and can be a lot of things. To different entities, it can mean different things.
John originally found a link to his true existence by using the password on his soul. He personally took his true existence out of the cosmic order. This was a huge move.
You must remember why he did this. It was so he could personally cultivate it. Now it had become a global existence.
So what is a 'global existence'? Think of a true existence like a local network for your existence. A global existence would be a world network.
It is the difference between connecting to LAN and WAN.
The characteristic of his emergence point and its location means he can connect to it no matter his whereabouts.
It was less of a connection and more so a core part of him.
There was a problem with this though. It was similar to the problem of the cosmic order. He needed to be able to reach his global existence in order for it to grow.
It's a good thing this wasn't the cosmic order, but his own realm.
John didn't dare try to move his global existence. It had imprinted itself on his emergence point.
It also existed outside of reality. So John found something interesting about it. It seems time is not synchronized with this universe. The time spent in his emergence point. No time passed at all for the universe John had invaded.
John went to his pools and looked at the one full of red source.
He jumped in and lightning flickered around his body.
His body wasn't absorbing the red source though. While there was a connection with his global existence. It wasn't tangible.
It was mysterious like the will.
It was harder to grasp then the soul.
John needed to somehow create a physical connection to his emergence point. So he appeared in his emergence point. He could manually bring the red source here and construct the fourth layer. But he felt like that would be adding extra unneeded steps.
He waved his hands and tried to open up portals like he could do with the calamity realm. But nothing happened.
"Since time is frozen for the rest of the universe..."
"I have time to figure out this space."
So began John's journey of exploring the mechanics of his emergence point. He discovered some interesting things.
He discovered that he could view his emergence point in his sea of consciousness. He could control it without having to be there in person.
He also discovered. Just like how he could manifest his true existence. Just like how he use to be able to make phantom souls.
He could make a phantom global existence. This wasn't a copy, but allowed him to grow it just like how he did with his true existence.
As for the other mechanics? John hadn't yet figured them out. But this was enough for now.

John jumped into the pool of red source. He held out his hands and his global existence formed in them. The red energy began to get sucked into it.
The fourth layer had been partially constructed when John was unconscious. Because of this, and because some of the abyss had been absorbed.
It created a shield of abyssal flame! As for the talent John constructed?
It was called 'Destruction'.
John still freshly remembered the explosion of his true existence. How it wiped out both him and his soul. He also felt like he lacked a proper attack.
Thanks to the abyssal flames characteristics. He finally had a attack talent.
As for what it could do? It could ignite a persons existence and wipe them out in both body and soul.
It was like setting someone on fire. But on an entirely different level of power.

But John felt he was still too weak.
John then had an intrusive thought.
"I don't have anybody to test my destruction against. It would be embarrassing if it didn't work later. That settles it. I'll use it on myself!"
John had grown quite cocky from surviving having his true existence explode.
He used destruction on himself!
His global existence compressed more and more.
His body soon turned to ash and scattered.
His soul was vaporized.
His global existence stopped manifesting itself
He was the first victim of 'destruction'.
Meanwhile... In the emergence point:
John remained aware.
"Good. It wiped out everything, including my will."
His global existence had become smaller.
But if you looked closer... it was almost like his global existence had become an egg. Just like how his skeletal body had once went inside of the original mind.
His body was reforming inside his global existence.
John was manually reconstructing a body worthy of himself!
He was being reborn!

John was surprised. He felt amazing strength throughout his entire body.

He used destruction on himself again. But all that happened was his body bursting into flames which soon went out.
"Hmm... the difference is a bit huge. It seems it was a good idea to grow myself a new body!"
His global existence resealed itself.
"It seems I've reached the limit for now..."
