"Let's begin."
John was planning to be fully prepared for the divergence point. So in his concept form. He began to modify the abyss.
This had to do with how his system would function. When a person dies, their soul is either reincarnated or sent to the abyss. John set up a filter in the abyss that would forever reject his intent. In other words. His system would make it so that his spirit body would remain around his body upon death. He wouldn't experience nonexistence at all.
John didn't plan on making a soul at all for this. Naturally, a soul he made would lack the native attribute of the world. If that was a thing in this universe. It would also inherently be different then the souls naturally produced by the universe.
It also didn't help that he couldn't look at the multiverse. He was limited to this single universe currently. As for his ability to look at the matrix of existences? Perhaps if he had stayed in the lower reality, he would still have it. But right now, that ability wasn't fully functional besides it's use in this universe.
He had used this function to learn every language for every race across the universe.
So how did he plan to acquire a body? He wasn't a mortal anymore. He wasn't a god either. His existence was special.
The way he saw time was inherently different then how others saw it.
He witnessed the birth of the universe. He witnessed the heat death of the universe. He saw them at the same time. He was looking at time all at once.
He didn't have the luxury in the past to figure out the origin of souls.
But things were different now. He watched in a focused state as micro organisms began to form larger structures. He witnessed evolution in multiple places.
That's right! There wasn't a single planet that had these signs of life. There were many. A universe might be considered small to what he had become. But in reality, It was extremely vast.
He was observing all of it at once. His processing power was inhuman.
"Not only do I need to consider where to spawn at. I also need to know when I should spawn."
He witnessed the birth of various civilizations over time. Some became more advanced then others. John had to make a decision.
There were some universes that became so technologically advanced. That they had explored their galaxy and had put a dyson sphere around their sun. There were however billions of galaxies. So even though these civilizations had advanced technology. They eventually couldn't escape the heat death of the universe.
But it took vigintillion's of years for that to happen either way.
From the beginning of the universe to the end of everything. An incomprehensible amount of time passed.
John was there for the birth of this universe. He is the creator of the calamity realm after all.
But the calamity itself wasn't there from the beginning.
Even though he manipulated the history. He did appear at a specific time and place with his body before tampering with reality.
He called this moment the 'Divergence Point'.
How was John aware of the birth of the universe? How was he capable of tampering with reality?
It was due to his unique perspective.
He wasn't human at all.
His thought process had become like a computer. He looked at the universe not as a physical thing that existed. No, he saw it as a mere equation.

It was just math.
Since it is a formula, one must simply modify it.
If you can do that. You can mess with reality.
As for the 'when' that John needed to choose. He didn't wish to grow up in an apocalypse. He knew the exact date and time he ordered the gods and hidden existences to invade this reality.
He decided to be born roughly two decades before the apocalypse.
His tampering with reality messed up the calculations.
He was never meant to be born in this universe after all.
So once his will invaded a world.
That moment would be locked in history.
The way he saw time would become less clear. He would no longer be able to see the end of all things. Nor the beginning.
He was throwing away a lot of power through this.
The future would be changed forever.
His will would think more like a human. He would comprehend time the same as other mortals.
Emflowcreagen could forcefully modify the divergence point.
But it still needed to exist somewhere. Otherwise, he never would of been able to modify the universe.
John looked through billions of galaxies.
He found a world that had humans on it. This world most resembled the earth he was familiar with.
He then went back in time 20 years before the great divergence.
He observed remnant wills and purposefully sent his will into the world.
His connection with his concept was cut off for now.
Something weird happened. He had expected his will to find a newborn baby to revive at. But it seems this world was more strict. The soul was already developed by the time the baby was born in this world. In other words, he couldn't snatch a body this way.
Instead his will latched onto a sperm cell.
That's right! He wasn't starting as a baby... he started as a sperm.
He didn't even have a soul yet. It was just a bit of latent will.
He would need to battle millions of others for the chance to be born.
He checked his system as he rushed towards his destination.
Name:???
Age: 0
Strength:0
Dexterity:0
Constitution:0
Perception:0
Energy:0
Skills: []
He was surrounded by others in a surprisingly epic battle. He unfortunately ran out of energy and couldn't make it to his destination.
(You have died! Do you wish to respawn? Y/N)
John didn't expect his system to activate already... this was a bit awkward...
He currently even lacked a soul.
He respawned full of energy. But unfortunately he lost against the odds. He failed.
He kept dying repeatedly.
He eventually made it! After dying thousands of times.
But the egg was already fertilized.
"Lucky..."
There were only 200 others around the egg.
The leukocytes began to attack his family members.
"Shit!"
(You have died! Do you wish to respawn? Y/N)
John respawned and was killed off by the immune system many times.
He made sure to set a waypoint in the tubes so that he wouldn't lose his place.
John had different options upon respawning. He could choose to respawn where he had died. Or he could choose a waypoint.
John then had an idea.
"What if I don't respawn?"
(You have died! Do you wish to respawn? Y/N)
He mentally clicked no.
(Resurrection failed!)
(You have died! Do you wish to respawn? Y/N)
"I see..."
This gave John an idea. He already had a waypoint set in the general location. He simply needed to wait 9 months for the baby to be born.
John started to count. This may have been a mind numbing task for others. But it was a simple task for John. He counted the entire time as he waited.
John waited at the respawn screen for over nine months.
Once that one was born. He waited about 4 weeks.
He then respawned! This time, since he was alone. He managed to avoid detection.
His parents actually didn't have intimate contact after already having a child. They didn't wish to have another so soon.
But they couldn't anticipate John's master plan!
He respawned! Instead of having to fight against millions.
He was alone!
"Too easy!"
He entered the egg and let the process begin.
What he didn't know was that his father thought his mother had cheated since they never had sex after giving birth to their baby.
So he abandoned the mother.
His mom was truly confused. As she really didn't cheat!
As John was a fetus. He thought about the next big problem.
His soul had formed successfully!
"How do I get them to make my name John?"
He was tempted to pray to his concept. But opening up a connection while he was weak wasn't a good idea.
He really didn't want to have to redo that whole ordeal. Who knew how he would respawn. He might be rejected by the immune system after reviving.
Luckily, John developed as a boy.
He was greatly relieved.
When John was born. John wondered what would happen if he used the waypoint he had set while he was a sperm.
He shuddered.
"That's probably a bad idea."
He deleted this waypoint, just in case he accidentally used it in the future.
"What a beautiful boy. What do you plan to name him?"
John cried and tried to say 'John'.
"Johnathan."
"Fuck it. Close enough."
