The concept Emflowcreagen was gone! Invulnis's connection... it was nonexistent!
Invulnis had spent years climbing to the 42nd floor of the tower as a part of the trial.
The 42nd floor was a world itself and he found himself locked in an area of fog. To leave the starter area, he had pushed his body to the limit. Knowing that he couldn't respawn meant he had to take everything more seriously.
With his skills offline, he was almost no different from ordinary people now.

Unfortunately, he ran into some people with sinister intentions and ended up captured and imprisoned.

[System]: Successfully linked!
[System]: Start evolution? Y/N
"Evolution?"
Invulnis felt as if a life saving grace had been bestowed upon him.
"Yes!"
[System]: Please relax...
[System]: Negative Source cocoon forming...
He saw a blue sun.
John took over his body entirely. John had just experienced going through a rebirth himself. Now he took over the nervous system of Invulnis. He then used negative source to form a barrier around Invulnis.
The people that had captured Invulnis noticed this weird cocoon and tried attacking him. But it was a fruitless endeavor.
A year passed with John in this state as he modified Invulnis's body.
This was the power of his emergence point!

Just like how John had created seals for himself due to his overwhelming power. He had similar locks on Invulnis.
[System]: Strength lock activated.

Invulnis awoke and looked at his surroundings. He was still within the prison.
He disabled his locks...
A white suit and mask appeared over his body.
He now looked like Destinatus!
He was attacked by those that had captured him. But his casual movements destroyed the building he was in as well as those surrounding him.
He now had his abilities... there was nothing to fear!
"I'll clear this floor soon!"
With his skills unlocked. With his abyssal body. He was an unstoppable force.
He became the strongest person undergoing the trial.
But as he climbed the tower...

This was the fourth trial.
He had gained the qualifications to enter limbo and wait for the fifth trial.
While in limbo... while he shouldn't have been able to feel time pass. He witnessed something absolutely shocking.
He had a premonition.
He witnessed Destinatus get beaten!
"Impossible!"
He saw Zero destroy the global existence of Destinatus...
He felt as if some part of him had shattered. Luckily, he wasn't put into a similar situation as the past. He didn't lose his powers.
"I must get stronger..."
----------------------------------------
Time is quite interesting. For an existence like Zero. The difference between a second and a century isn't much.
With John's infinite mind. This is even more exaggerated. Millions of years can be a second if he wishes.
That's why it felt almost as if John had came back in an instant.
But there was a gap of time.
From the perspective of John. The universe that Invulnis was in should've been essentially 'frozen'. But John had been killed off and had to go on a journey of self discovery.
Some time did indeed pass for Invulnis.
The fifth trial he became a rank 4.
The sixth trial he became a rank 5.
The seventh trial he became a rank 6.
There were only two trials left.
Funnily enough, Invulnis was like the first origin race. He didn't have dark energy generating from his heart. But his powers... he was like the prototype for it.
He had things that even John had lost.
Invulnis proved to be unstoppable due to his skills in combination with his abyssal body.
But the others that had reached these trials... while small in number. They had learned some rather unique applications of aura.
Nobody was to be underestimated.
The eighth trial... Invulnis proved to be the last man standing.
The ninth trial, he was supposed to swear loyalty to Ygriognu.
----------------------------------------
Invulnis Destinatus's POV:
"Congratulations! Out of all those who participated in this trial. You are the sole survivor. As your reward. I have brought back to life those waste."
"Now... you can become a supreme being. All you must do is acknowledge me as your master."
Invulnis's personality had shifted after not hearing from his real master in so many years.
[System]: {
Name: "Invulnis Destinatus",
Age: 89 (21),

Dexterity: 1190 (25),

Perception: 23809 (10000),
Energy: 11904
}
He laughed at the absurdity of it all.
If he wasn't 'blessed' by his original master. He never would've been able to make it this far no matter how many attempts he was given.
Yet this 'thing' in front of him wanted him to disrespect his benefactor?
"I won't acknowledge you as my master. A master is for life. I already have one!"
"Now... get out of my face!"
The supreme being sighed as if expecting this outcome.
"I should've known when you displayed abilities and looks similar to that one that slipped away..."
Invulnis laughed.
"Does that mean I failed the final trial?"
"I guess I won't become a 'supreme being' after all."
"It is a pity. But now you must be erased..."
Invulnis squinted his eyes.
"My master is a scary person. I can tell that much from my limited interaction with him..."
"As a disciple of the great Destinatus. I can't go out with a small fizzle..."
Invulnis motioned for Ygriognu to attack him!
"Hahahaha-"
The eldritch entity gasped in shock.
"This aura!? How have you mastered supernatural power to such a degree!?"
[System]: Warning! Essence is being concentrated to unsafe levels!
"System! Initiate self destruct!"
Invulnis wasn't using the skill 'self-destruct'. He was executing a command that would destroy his system.
"System? What are you doing!"
[System]: Initiate system self-destruct? Y/N.
"YES!"
The system was a mysterious thing that carried the path John Destinatus had once tried to follow. It was the golden finger of Invulnis.
By concentrating the mysterious negative source that powered it.
By using something that should last a lifetime in an instant.
Invulnis experienced something mysterious.
He was leaping across ranks to fight someone of a much higher level.
He was victorious! He wasn't able to kill the rank 9. But he managed to make it retreat.
Invulnis felt that he had honored Destinatus well with his actions. He thought this was all a test of his faith.
"Destinatus! Look! I've done it!"
"I've beat the trial!!!"
He was crying.
"Destinatus!"
A century passed.
He had comprehended the law 'Root'. It allowed him to regain some of his lost skills. He had sacrificed the systems energy reserves to make Ygriognu leave this universe.
"Destinatus! I've done it!"
When Invulnis beat the trial of humanity. He had earned everyone's resurrection. People started to appear all around on the earth.
But what they found baffled them.
John had transformed the earth into his factory after all.
Invulnis had become rank 7.
His lifespan was now infinite.
Thousands of years passed.
"Destinatus..."
He became rank 8 by mastering another law called 'Close'.
"...Where are you!?"
Invulnis felt that Destinatus was an unfathomable entity. He wasn't someone who would lose. He wasn't someone who could die. Didn't he know it best? His power to respawn was given to him by him!
There was no way...
"That man!"
He remembered the premonition he had gotten. He remembered seeing a man in a lab coat. His left eye's iris was silver. His right eye's iris was green. Three pupils on both eyes.
For some reason.
He whispered a single word.
"Zero."
He felt a shiver run down his spine when he said that word. It was as if he had touched upon something taboo.
"Someone of that level is beyond my power... I had to rely on the destruction of my system to drive away a rank 9. So... it is a rank 10?"
After becoming a rank 7. His body had gone through deification. It had been completely transformed. It was similar to when John controlled his body and had him form an abyssal body.
"How do I bea-"
I then hear a declaration.
"I am John Destinatus."
"The Origin of Calamity!"
I didn't even have a heart anymore after my transformation.
But I felt his connection. Something different.
A new heart!
I feel it began to ache as it starts to pound ten times faster.
I feel some new type of energy flow with each beat.
"He's back!"
----------------------------------------
"Allow me to introduce myself."
"I am John Destinatus."
"The Origin of Calamity!"
John didn't just appear near Zero himself as he said this. It was as if he was making a declaration to the entire cosmos!
Every single being in existence heard his voice.
At the same time. John was consolidating everything he had learned internally. His custom made universes were fusing with reality.
He had done it! He had made something greater then the cosmic order. A realm entirely unreachable, something that would exist on every layer of reality.
John used Blasphemy to bend the rules of reality itself creating gateways across all multiverses. He started to gather his allies.
The universe with the cradle of the origin race was assimilated into his origin.

Du Hell's POV:
Du was just reading a book when he started to hallucinate.
A man in a black suit with a black mask appeared in front of him.
"What the hell...?"
"Who are you?"
"Sutanides!"
"You!?"
Du remembered his brother talking about his imaginary friend. To think one would appear in front of him.
"Damn. I'm going to need to get evaluated now... medication for the rest of my life. Great."
Du reached out his hand and grabbed this imaginary being.
But he actually felt it.
"Wow... such a realistic hallucination."
Everything started to shake and I struggle to keep myself from falling over.
"What is happening!?"
"My master is 'waking' up."
I then hear something.
"I am John Destinatus."
"The Origin of Calamity!"
A red portal opens up near me.
"Farewell... my identity."
