His processing power had been increased to a hundred thousand times that of an ordinary person. Because of his quantum technology. He could retain this processing power no matter the distance.

To understand John's current situation. You need to understand what a concept is. It is a foundation of the universe.

It is a step higher then laws.

John's concept is special in the fact that it isn't just part of the foundation of reality. But it is actively breaking rules.

Think about it this way. 'Time' itself is a law. There is also a concept of Time.

A rank 6 existence. Upon breaking through to rank 7. They must comprehend 100% of a law. Let's say that law is Time.

This doesn't mean others can't comprehend such a law. It also doesn't mean the power of Time itself is used.

Time by itself isn't conscious.

Emflowcreagen had experienced being an original incarnation. But even when erased it continued to exist as a concept.

A concept isn't suppose to have a destiny. It also isn't supposed to be a conscious being. John was experiencing a special set of circumstances.

Other hidden existences didn't know this about concepts. They just thought the origin of calamity was their master.

The same couldn't be said for Ygriognu. He was a foreign rank 9. You can be born a rank 7 or 8. But one must reach rank 9 on their own. To reach rank 9 requires a person to specialize in five sub laws of either chaos or order.

Unless you are an anomaly like Gaia, this is the path forward.

It also requires one to fully understand a variety of laws.

You see... It is rankless. But its power could be understood to be rank 9. Upon reaching rank 9. The person becomes omnipotent. They are then able to condense their sea of consciousness and move up a layer of reality.

But there is a catch. You start over in the new reality based on the new rules. So most rank 9's just stay in their reality of origin. But John didn't do so.

He left his original multiverse and came to a stricter one.

He didn't use a part of his soul. He took a body without origin and a soul without origin and forcefully brought it over to the new reality.

This caused this reality to reject him. This is when he did something unthinkable. He used his power as a concept before it faded away. He linked the chaos realm. Modified the abyss and created the calamity realm.

John also observed all of time at once and created a divergence point.

He essentially created a safe space for his concept in this reality. But doing so put his concept in a vulnerable situation.

The rank 9 wouldn't dare appear in this stricter reality. The less supernatural a world was. The weaker a rank 9 would be upon crossing over.

But Emflowcreagen had ordered the invasion of this reality. With the death of supreme beings being a constant thing. This world began to become supernatural over time.

So, the rank 9 was able to swoop in and bring everyone together for construction of a trial.

His main goal was actually to consume Emflowcreagen!

He wanted to reach rank 10. Something only one existence has pulled off.

Laws make a supreme being.

Concepts are naturally above laws.

Emflowcreagen should be a cold calculating machine. But John wasn't playing by the rules.

In order to become rank 10. It requires one to do a variety of things. But the first step is getting the other five sub laws of chaos/order that you do not have.

Such a thing could be found in the cosmic order. A concept naturally has faint connections with it. It was the perfect resource to breakthrough.

Unfortunately for Ygriognu, Emflowcreagen was cautious and never left the infinite layer of the calamity realm.

But modifying reality had taken a lot out of this concept. It wasn't normal for a concept to manually pull off such feats.

So what was John doing while Invulnis was climbing the tower? He was studying soul.

John figured with the design of the trial. A persons level of existence is tied to their soul. John had looked through all of the future technology. But even doing so, he hardly found anything relating to soul.

So what gave John the right to study something that all the civilizations in this universe failed to?

It was his concept!

John knew that a existence was made of a few crucial ingredients.

You had the brain and nervous system.

The person's spirit body.

The person's soul.

Their will.

The will was a fickle thing and most will vanish after death. The soul contained the persons personality. The brain connected the soul to the body. The spirit body handled out of body experiences.

John's will was extremely special as it had been created by a concept. It was invulnerable.

Within it was endless logic and his calamity system.

It also contained his consciousness.

"If I'm able to modify a will using my concept. What's to stop me from modifying the soul?"

Emflowcreagen was growing weaker with every second that passed. But that had changed after John designed a contract brand on his soul that fed back to the concept.

This was the same with Invulnis. It was creating positive feedback.

"A supreme being is at minimum rank 7. At that level you deal with laws. A god is naturally able to see soul. When the person forms a contract in their soul pointing to a god. They gain abilities from said god. Being able to see soul is just a characteristic of gods. It is merely a side effect of the contract."

"But even after pointing my contract towards Emflowcreagen itself. I retain this ability to see my soul."

"This is because my concept has the ability to see soul as well."
