Chapter 26: Cerebium

Chapter 26: Cerebium

John used his A.I Chip to monitor areas of his brain as he did various test.

He then used his ability gotten as a rank 1 to internally check the status of his soul.

He however didn't find any certain connection between this action and his brain.

John searched the database of his concept. There was actually a race that had discovered a special metal that could interact with soul.

It was called 'cerebium'.

There was obviously none on this planet. But it was among asteroids and there was a small planet full of the stuff.

How far was this? About 4 light years away.

Not far at all when dealing with scales regarding the universe.

John had also spent a lot of time developing spaceships. He went to one of his spaceships on standby. It could move at half the speed of light.

This trip would take eight entire years.

He could then leave an outpost there and a waypoint. It would be easy to collect materials afterwards.

He could retain connection with his servers even after leaving the planet, thanks to him setting up quantum technology.

His spaceship he used didn't look like a traditional spaceship. It looked like a U.F.O that belonged to the category of alien aircrafts.

John made sure everything was operating normally. He then began his journey.

During this time John was traveling through space. Invulnis was busy climbing the tower. There were 100 stages to this tower and the person gradually grew stronger as they climbed up.

Various weapons and armor were found through the stages.

Some floors were puzzles.

Some mazes.

This trial was far longer then the other trials.

After a year. Invulnis found himself stuck on the 33rd floor.

John had been watching Invulnis during his free time as he piloted the artificial intelligence of his spaceship.

On this floor, Invulnis had personally asked John for help.

John took control over his body.

"I see..."

On this floor, there were medusae's. A single look at them could turn you into stone.

John closed Invulnis's eyes and used his other senses to fight these creatures.

He casually killed all of them.

Then Invulnis began to climb again.

His speed was getting slower and slower as the difficulty ramped up.

He was stuck on the 41st floor for 4 years.

John told him to just try his best.

John was only three years away from that planet full of cerebium.

Stolen story; please report.

Invulnis passed the 41st floor, but found that he was in a medieval village afterwards. His surroundings looked nothing like the tower.

He had an entire planet to explore as the 42nd floor. The orb was hidden somewhere, he just needed to find it.

Three years go by...

Name: John Destinatus

Age: 185 (21)

Strength: 25

Dexterity: 25

Constitution:80

Perception:1000 (100000)

Energy:1000

Skills: ["Lvl3 Iron Finger", "Lvl3 Body Tempering", "Lvl4 Fitness", "Lv4 Meditation", "Lv3 Cultivator", "Lvl2 Existence"]

John had entered the atmosphere of the planet he was looking for.

He had his battle suit on. So he had no problems breathing.

He landed on this lifeless planet. He then set a waypoint. He then pulled out mining robots from his storage space and began to terraform this world.

He processed massive amounts of cerebium.

He then teleported back to his planet.

John was capable of tapping into brainwaves through sensesium. He now had the mystical cerebium.

He began to refine it in furnaces and get pure material.

He created lenses out of it and made a camera.

He then checked the data fed through the machine. It was actually able to gather data on the soul.

It seemed what John was capable of observing using his concept. It wasn't the be all end all.

John found out through this new device that the soul was far more complicated then he had ever imagined. It was like a multiverse in itself!

John reset his existence using his system.

His soul became ordinary.

Even then, the level of complexity shocked him.

You must understand. John has been a formations 'god' in the past. He has also dealt with many things of extreme complexity.

But this was a different beast all together.

It was like trying to understand the human genome. Trying to figure out what each part did.

John's brain started to overload as he had connected his soul camera to his A.I Chip remotely.

He was sweating as he began to go through what he called 'soul data'.

John was breathing heavily as he struggled to make sense of it all.

Think of the soul like a operating system. But all of the code is obfuscated.

John was unscrambling everything and making sense of it all.

In programs... There are ways for the developer to leave messages for themselves or the person working with them.

For example:

var database =[];

if(runicLibrary.localStorage.getItem("database")){

database = runicLibrary.localStorage.getItem("database");

}

var placeholder ={};

var storeData = function(){

placeholder.name = prompt("Enter name into database!");

placeholder.cultivation = prompt("Enter cultivation into database.");

database.push(runicLibrary.stringify(placeholder));

runicLibrary.localStorage.setItem("database", database);

};

var retrieveData = function(name){

for(var i=0; i

if(runicLibrary.parse(database[i]).name==name){

//this logs the name and cultivation

log("Name: "+name+", Cultivation: "+runicLibrary.parse(database[i]).cultivation);

alert("Cultivation of "+name+" is "+runicLibrary.parse(database[i]).cultivation);

}

}

};

The '//' means that line is a comment. It doesn't affect the program.

John found such a comment in the operating system of the soul.

What did it say?

"It's all in the spin."

As soon as John said those words... his thinking began to speed up to an insane degree. His A.I Chip began to get damaged as all the pieces of the puzzle tried to come together.

It was as if John had been enlightened. It was as if the secrets of the universe were teasing him. Just within his grasp...

John hadn't experienced insanity in a long time.

But he started to go insane as even his will struggled to understand the ramifications of this simple comment.

Soon John calmed down and repaired his chip.

John was far too tempted... that comment meant a variety of things. John felt like it was left there for him to find by the creator.

Even with his power as a concept. He had never found this underlying logic. If he hadn't made a machine with cerebium that could record the data of soul.

He never would of found that simple sentence.

John began to work on creating tools that could modify soul right away. Thanks to his chip, he could manipulate technology mentally.

He laid down on his bed and was surrounded by surgical robots. The difference was the tools were made from cerebium.

John used his phantom body to observe the operation.

John also had the soul camera monitoring his soul. All of this data was accessible to him through his chip.

He said to himself mentally as he began to spin his soul using his new tools.

"It's all in the spin."

He put a knife on the surface of the soul as it began to spin.

The skin of his soul was stripped off.

What he found next shocked him greatly.
