"Origin! Here I come!"
John thought about his situation. How does one make something from nothing? He has lost all remnants of his concept now. He had used it to escape the space between the cosmic order. It was a magnificent punch. But that was a done deal.
So what now?
Was John out of ideas?
Not even a little bit!
John had used Time Authority, a tier 9 spell in the past after fusing his concept with his skeletal body. He had gone back in time and prevented himself from collapsing the abyss.
That's right! He had prevented his 'origin'.
He had battled himself and both won and lost.
Emflowcreagen.
It had gained a body worthy of itself.
So what happened to John's universe?
Well the infinite maze that he had initially used Soul Domain on to blend his soul with the environment. It had became his sea of consciousness.
It was simply a part of his concept.
But there was a serious issue with being a concept. Memory and loss of determination! So the infinite maze that was part of the sea of consciousness over time became irrelevant.
But there is a key point here that John remembered.
He had stopped the birth of his concept! That meant his universe. His infinite maze realm. His organization Deathless.
It was all still out there!
When he left for a higher reality. He did so using his body without origin.
Who knows how many years have passed for that old world. Who knows what John will find there...
"I am not strong enough to go to a higher reality. But who told me I couldn't go to a lower one?"
John planned to return to his universe!
But... how?
A lot of information was lost when he was a concept. The remainder of memories were perfectly inscribed almost like a tattoo on the quantum level over his body.
John began to go through his database.
"I just need to find my universe."
John looked at his surroundings.
"Empty space..."
Luckily, his body was abnormal. Being in space didn't affect him in the slightest.
He looked through data on the godkiller race and started to modify his 'brain'. his A.I Chip reformed and he started to look for a signal.
He found a signal and began traveling towards a planet.
He couldn't move as fast as light though. He could only move a fraction of the speed. So he was alone in space for centuries.
But John has faced many situations like this. The time went by quite quickly. A lifetime to others is a mere task to him. He felt the experience relaxing.
Soon he found where the signal originated from.
Perhaps when the signal was first sent out. There had been a flourishing civilization here. But what John found was toppled skyscrapers, dust storms, and collapsed buildings.
Stolen story; please report.
John landed on the ground gracefully as he looked around his new 'home'.
"The end of the world?"
John smiled.
"Perfect."
John walked casually through the cities looking for useful technology. He had tons of data from the godkiller race from when he had scrapped their databases using an artificial intelligence in the past.
"With these resources... it may be possible."
John wanted to combine his knowledge of formations, and the astral with the technology of the godkiller race.
John eventually found an intact warehouse and was going to begin working on a spatial gateway. He had created his universe using his soul as the key originally. He knew almost everything there was to know about his universe after its birth.
Making a 'gateway' that pointed to his universe.
He felt it was possible.
When he was clearing out the warehouse manually. He was attacked!
Well, there was an attempt of a attack. His reaction speed was on an entirely different level than your average human.
The person tried to hit him in the head with a bat.
John allowed it to hit him. The bat just bounced off his head as if it had hit solid metal. It was quite close to shattering.
John turned around.
"There are still survivors?"
The person that attacked him dropped the bat and fell to the ground.
They raised their hands.
"Please! Don't kill me! I was just so hungry... I am so hungry..."
John spoke:
"Don't worry..."
The person began to relax after it seemed John wasn't going to kill him.
"It'll be painless!"
Their head exploded.
John found a big sealed off basement door. He went down it and found a camp of people.
He was attacked by the strongest men in the camp.
They were slaughtered.
"If you don't wish to meet a similar fate. You all will help me with an experiment."
Earlier. Before eating it. John had crafted a 'will', and a 'soul' for this body using his global existence artifact. He still had slivers of experience from having an immortal and deathless soul. So he naturally gave this body such a soul as well.
Not to mention. His body naturally had the characteristics required to 'shift'. Just like how he could create biological machines equivalent to the testing machines. John could transform his body completely.
John planned to study the souls of the people in this camp. Live subjects were quite precious. He wouldn't pass up the opportunity to prepare himself for his battle with Zero.
He was also curious about something.
He shifted his eyes creating a structure similar to cerebium. A material that is capable of seeing an interacting with soul.
He first used the labor of these people to clear out the warehouse. He then had them haul equipment from the nearest hospital.
"It is nice having subordinates."
John remembered Deathless.
"I'll come back for all of you..."
Soon. Everything was as ready as it would ever be.
John had them lay down as he began to scrape the layers of their soul. A phrase came to mind as he spun the soul.
"It's all in the spin."
John's perception and reaction time was godlike. It didn't take many attempts like before. This time, he didn't see a comment of it. But he had already recorded the password:
'six octillion one hundred three septillion seven hundred and seventy-two sextillion three hundred and thirty-one quintillion four hundred and forty-eight quadrillion nine hundred and fifty-five trillion three hundred and forty-two billion one hundred thirteen million eight hundred and fifty-three thousand two hundred and eleven'
Right as the soul was about to shatter from being compromised.
John entered '6103772331448955342113853211' as the password.
Password accepted!
Admin access granted!
The random person's soul bloomed like a flower. It opened up.
John could now edit the properties of their soul.
"A success!"
He then needed to check something important.
There was an orb in the middle of their soul. There was also nine layers to it.
"A true existence!"
"So it is possible to regain it."
But John threw this idea away. As he was disappointed in the fragility of an existence. He wouldn't settle for less then 'Origin'. An idea that didn't even exist yet. An impossible standard!
John did various test with this person. Making them immortal and deathless.
Once he was satisfied. He destroyed their true existence in a test and monitored what happened.
"Hmm... even immortals are weak to things that can mess with a true existence. I absolutely must not rely on a true or global existence in the future."
Seeing the intelligence leave their eyes left a bad taste in his mouth.
He then used the password on his own soul regaining admin access. He was now able to manipulate his own soul in the same way.
John then looked at the remaining survivors.
There were fifty left!
"Perhaps... I can make a biological spatial gate."
Instead of using metal to make his spatial gateway. John planned to use the bodies and souls of these remaining survivors.
He opened up admin access for their souls and made it easy to shift their bodies. He then fused them together... He created a disgusting amalgamation of flesh.
They were squirming and all manors of flesh and bones were shaking around.
He turned on the machine as they cried and asked for death.
He stepped through the portal right as they exploded into bloody chunks.
John found himself surrounded in rubble.
He flexed his muscles causing the debris to shift.
He then flew up and out of the wreckage.
It would seem many years have passed for his universe.
"I'm back!"
