Meanwhile, five guards were on the first floor, looking down towards the dark corridor. They all wore gas masks, the large gas machine gun in front of them pumped out the gas downstairs with effectiveness.
“Gah, what is going on? Don’t tell me all of them are dead.” grumbled guard I.
“Damn, who caused this? Everything was so boring and quiet. And suddenly this bullshit?” grumbled guard J.
From the other side of the hallway detectives Betty, Naran, and cops Natasha, Hugo, Krim, Cowalt jumped into the hallway.
The guards, seeing them, aimed their guns and in that moment a bunch of shootings happened. All five guards slumped to the floor, bullets in their chests and heads. Cowalt fell on his knees, blood oozing from his stomach, Hugo was holding his shoulder. Krim lay dead on the floor with a bullet in his head.
Betty looked down at her wounded and dead comrades with pain.
“Shit! Dammit. What the hell did Kyong bring us into?!” yelled Naran with anger.
“We can’t blame him, come on, we have to keep going. He warned us that this was a dangerous place.” said Betty with tears in her eyes.
But fear and sorrow appeared on her face.
“Dammit, Krim, Krim!” yelled Betty with teary eyes towards the man lying on the ground, with a bullet in his head.
“Are you stupid? You should worry about the people who are alive. Not the ones who are dead.” said Hugo as he held his shoulder and walked.
Hugo looked at the staircase leading to the basement floor.
“We’ll enter down there when the gas clears up.” said Hugo.
But hearing the footsteps behind him, he turned to aim his gun towards the intruders who were commanders Taizen and Ming who instantly raised their arms upon being aimed at with a gun.
The guard who had killed Kyong climbed up the stairs to see Hugo pointing his gun at the commanders, with his back turned to him. The guard shot two bullets towards Hugo from the back, killing him but Betty and Naran were quick to take revenge by shooting 3 bullets, killing the guard.
Naran quickly aimed her gun towards the commanders and yelled "Don't move you bastards, or I’ll kill you!” with tears in her eyes.
Betty closed in on the slumped bodies. Hugo’s body had a gun wound on the back of his head and spine. The guard had a wound on his forehead, chest and shoulder.
Betty nervously aimed her gun towards the lower floor. The green gas seemed to have subsided.
Meanwhile Natasha finished cuffing the two commanders.
“Dammit, what were you assholes doing in this place?” yelled Natasha at them.
“Heh, searching for… power. What else matters in this miserable world.” grumbled Taizen.
Betty looked back towards the captured captains but as soon as she heard sound in front of her, she aimed her gun down to the staircase.
“Wow, hold it there!” said Casey with a loud cry.
“C-Casey! What happened?” gasped Betty and ran towards him.
“A lot of fucked up shit. Man, I knew following Kyong is gonna be the end of me one day. But still in one piece. But Hellen, the detective from squad K3 got a shoulder wound. You should probably treat that.” said Casey with laughter.

“Okay, but what were you doing here? Naran and I only got a SOS saying that this was an illegal crime ring. Where is Kyong?” asked Betty.
“I…don’t know where Kyong is. He wasn’t with us in the weapon storage room. Shit, maybe the green smoke got to him.” said Casey.
Hellen walked up to Casey from behind.
“He might be inside the bathroom. I saw Dimitri pulling him towards that direction.” said Hellen as she gritted her teeth, attempting to ignore the stinging pain in her shoulder.
“Are you sure all the guards are dead? There may be more maggots walking around upstairs.” said Fushichin with a pant from behind Hellen.
“I haven’t heard any more gunshots. So, things might be fine upstairs.” said Betty.
Hori ran up to Hellen from behind her and said “There are captives who have passed out in their rooms because of the green gas. We need to carry them.”
“Yeah. We do need to do that.” said Hellen.
“And we can’t just leave the little babies in the daycare.” said Blaire with a sad face.
“Wait…little babies?” asked Hellen with confusion.
“There are small babies, infants in the daycare. Some of the captives here were taking care of them. The guards ordered them to do it.” said Saran.
“Then, we definitely need to search for the babies.” said Hellen as she turned around and walked.
Fushichin arrived next to her and said “Don’t push yourself, okay? You got shot. We need you to get treated first.”
“If you’re that worried for me, go find a medic. In the meantime, I’ll go with Saran and the others towards the kids.” said Hellen.
Hellen walked towards the deeper parts of the hallways. Fushichin heard screams and cries coming from behind him. He ran into the side hallway and into the bathroom. At the end of the bathroom, behind the partition of the men’s room Betty and Naran sat, tears in their eyes.
Naran was holding Kyong’s bloodied head in her embrace, her face red and full of tears. Betty looked tearfully towards Dimitri’s body which was leaning against the partition but slumped on the ground.
“Dammit. Dammit. You idiotic old fart. Don’t go dying on us! Y-you’re not supposed to be t-this easy to kill.” whined Naran as she put her forehead on his lifeless chest.
Fushichin opened his mouth, hoping to ask for a medic. But it was pointless, it wasn’t the time. Fushichin ran out from the bathroom and went towards the deeper hallway.
At the end, he encountered the room, opening the door, he found Hellen desperately shaking the bodies of ladies that were lying on the ground.
“Come on, this isn’t the time to be sleeping around.” grumbled Hellen.
Hellen sighed and turned around to see Fushichin.
“We need to carry them out of here. They might wake up faster if they breathe fresh air anyway. Fushichin you gotta tell the others too.” said Hellen.
Hellen raised a young woman and put her on her back. Saran stood next to her with a baby in her hand. Another woman by the name of Yulia lifted up a sleeping baby out of the infant bed into her arms. Fushichin also held a baby in his arms as well. The children were sleeping, likely from the gas. Hellen hoped that it hadn’t affected them in an unhealthy way.
“There are three other babies left. We’ll come back for them later” said Yulia.
Hellen got up slowly and carried the woman out of the room. Fushichin and the others followed her. Fushichin ran after her and caught up to her. They entered the upper floor to find Natasha looking after three commanders who were cuffed.
They went past them and walked along the hallway. After zig zagging a bit they entered the garage.
“H-hey, we could use these cars, right?” said Hellen.
Fushichin nodded. He checked the cars to see if they would open but all of them were locked.
“Dammit, I should have checked the guards and the commanders. Probably one of them has keys.” said Fushichin aggressively.
He turned around to Hellen and said “Put her down and wait here with this baby. I’ll grab the keys.”
Fushichin gave the sleeping baby in pajamas to Hellen, turned around and ran but the door to the hallway opened and Hori showed up.
“Oh, you guys” said Hori.
“Great timing Hori. We’re trying to find the keys to the cars. You should come with me to search the dead bodies.” said Fushichin.
“Oh, I actually got a few keys from the bodies. I don’t know which is for which car tho.” said Hori as she dug her pocket and pulled out three keys.
“Oh, nice. Thanks, you’re a savior.” said Fushichin with a smile.
“Don’t say that. You…fought for us. I couldn’t do anything but stay behind with fear.” said Hori.
“Come on, let’s get out of this hellhole.” said Fushichin and turned around.
They ran back to the garage and tried the keys on various cars. Until one of the keys fit into a jeep.
