“He got a lower sentence because the crime wasn’t homicide. Yes, it is a group kidnapping, that added to his sentence. But just like Hori it was his first criminal record. So considering everything it’s either a life sentence or anytime between 50 to 30 years. I think 40 makes the most sense considering the circumstances.” said Klancy.

“Yeah, homicide is a serious crime that cannot be excused. If the likes of Hori were to be excused then you would have to excuse a lot of criminal's actions. Almost every culprit would be out, there would be chaos. It’s unacceptable in law and the teachings of Hinokaiser.” said Salim.

“Yeah, sure whatever. But…all of this is kind of stupid isn’t it” said Fushichin and giggled.

“What is stupid? We rightfully imprisoned a criminal.” said Galtomor.

Fushichin smiled at that comment and said “Tell me, does the Lion pack imprison one of the lions in their pack for hunting?”

“What kind of a shitty analogy is that? Of course not. But if a lion killed another lion then they have a right to be angry.” said Galtomor.

“Pff, lions fight with one another all the time for petty or non petty reasons. In Hori’s case, she was humiliated and hurt, I can emphasize. Plus from what we have gathered, Tenma is…kind of a dick. He forced an arranged marriage on Hori and Mew. Hori feared what Tenma would do if she disobeyed him. It’s not exactly self defense but it’s pretty close to it. The situation could have been solved without violence but what is done is done. The only thing I can’t emphasize with is the execution sentence.” said Fushichin.

“Hey, you’re the one who asked Hori to be a useful utility. If you really want her to be useful to society I think she could provide plenty if you allow her to be more free.” said Fushichin.

“Tch, you’re trying so hard to defend a sinner. She is a murderer, a pervert who committed to an incestious relationship. And with her sister, non the less. It’s disgusting!” grunted Salim with a frown.

“Look man, genetically messed up kids who can’t think straight or have a bunch of diseases are not cool. But on the plus side Hori and Mew are both women. No matter how much they scissor one another they can’t reproduce!” said Fushichin with a playful voice.

“Ugh, man, can we change the subject matter? And…wait a minute isn’t there a law that punishes incestuos behavior? that was never brought up on court.” said Galtomor.

“It’s because the law specifically specified that incestuous relationship between man and women are punishable up to 10 years in prison. Hori and Mew are both female.” explained Klancy.

“Huh, I guess being gay has its benefits. Cool to know” said Fushichin casually.

Hellen jumped out of her chair, approached Salim and stood next to him.

“How could you say that? Their relationship might have been out of the norm, but how did they hurt you in any way?” yelled Hellen.

“Tch, they hurt me by going against what is right, what is moral.” mumbled Salim as he turned his chair towards Hellen.

“You don’t know what is right and wrong! I didn’t. I was wrong. I think forcing your will on people, hurting them and punishing them just because they loved one another is wrong.” said Hellen with sadness.

“Hmph, I despise you people, going against the will of god, a path that was made by god that is so clear and cut.” grunted Salim.

“Nothing is clear cut. Why does your god have anything against people who simply expressed their love? People who deeply cared for one another. It’s true that Hori killed Tenma. But that can’t be an excuse to torture her eternally. There has to be a way she could live happily even after that. Because even if she killed, she knew what love is.” said Hellen, almost tearing up.

But Salim didn’t care and aggressively said “There is no happiness for sinners. They will be burned in the flames of the sun for eternity. And we as the righteous ones should find these sinners like Hori and Mew and hang all of them before they spread their sinful influence on mankind and-”

Hellen punched Salim. Fushichin and Galtomor jumped up from their seats and approached them with shock.

“You’re despicable.” hissed Hellen with disgust.

Salim looked at Hellen with malice and quickly he punched her back in the gut. Hellen gasped for air, strolled backward with pain and fell to the ground on her butt. Fushichin immediately came next to her and guarded her from falling while Galtomor and Klancy arrived in front of Salim.

“What the hell are you doing?” yelled Klancy with anger.

“She punched me first. It was self defense” said Salim.

“She wasn’t trying to harm you, you asshole” yelled Galtomor.

“As if you could tell the difference.” grumbled Salim.
