“They died. Burnt with our house. I at first, thought it was an accident. But it was revealed that the fire was started by someone. I frantically investigated their deaths, tried to find the truth. And indeed, I found it. The culprit. He was a piece of shit. I blasted his drug dealing ring with my team. He was rather on the young side so he was let out on parole on the promise that he wouldn’t commit any other crime. But the bastard was a spiteful one. He found my address, set fire to our house while I was gone. The rest was history. They died. I had nothing left. Nothing besides my iron will for justice.” said Klancy with a stern look.
Hellen silently listened but she realized that Klancy’s gaze pierced down on her.
“You’re full of yourself. You’re burdened by the pride and naivete of youth. You think everything will go smoothly if you try to be nice to everyone and make friends with as many people as possible, even criminals. It’s nothing but greed, Hellen. You have no idea how your softness will unleash danger to yourself and to others. Don’t make the same mistakes as I did.” said Klancy.
Klancy turned around and walked to his car then ordered “If you wanna live like a normal, responsible cop then follow me. But if you’re feeling like drugging yourself with pretentious heroism, you can go with Hellen I guess.”
Juniper sat in Klancy’s car. Galtomor went into his own car, Nera followed him. Joey looked at the two sides, sighed and went into Klancy’s car and they drove off.
“Alright, it feels so good to rebel against the geezer. So, let’s kick some punk asses!” said Hui Ying with enthusiasm.
“Hmm. We need to investigate the crime scene itself, the prison solitary confinement room as well as get testimonies from the fellow inmates.” said Hellen.
Hellen thought for a while and grumbled “Ugh, we definitely need an investigation warrant to investigate inside the prison. I remember trying to meet with Hori inside the prison outside of visiting times. But I couldn’t enter back then even with shoving my badge on their face.”
“Goddammit, it’s so annoying!” grunted Fushichin.
“Oh man. And here I thought I joined up with the chadest of our squad members. Stop sulking you two! We gotta find something to do.” said Hui Ying aggressively.
“Let’s find a squad with a different captain than Maksym. We can ask that squad to request their captain for the warrant and get the warrant from them.” said Hellen.
“Huh, is switching around search warrants like that even legal?” pondered Fushichin.
“Who cares! Let’s roll, it’ll be fun.” said Hui Ying.
They strolled around the police station asking for a different squad to make a warrant for them. But some only said they would ask their head detective and left while some clearly weren’t into the idea of giving a search warrant to them.
“Ahh, man, this is hopeless.” said Hellen and sat on the chair nearby.
“Maybe we should start from interrogating the squad that was in charge of the case. And investigate the prison later?” said Fushichin.
“Do you even know which squad was in charge of the case? They didn’t even upload the report.” said Hellen.

“We’ll have to go to Luvia district to do that anyway. It’s better to get the warrant first and then go there to do both.” said Hui Ying.
They strolled around until they bumped into Kyong who was discussing work with Dimitri in a hallway.
“Hey, Head detective, Kyong. I have an urgent request to ask you. Could you ask your captain to make a search warrant for us? It’s a search warrant to search the rooms of the women’s prison in Luvia district as well as the right to interrogate inmates and workers there. There has been a suicide there and we need to check it.” said Hellen.
“Oh, that is surprising. Judging by the way you’re asking me, I assume your captain rejected it?” asked Kyong.
“Yeah.” said Hellen as she rubbed the back of her head.
“It’s the Luviana women’s prison in Luvia district? Am I correct? Some hot chick asked of me to investigate into a certain case. The suicide of an inmate called Fasha Olvert. Who also was imprisoned in Luviana prison” said Kyong with a fancy tone.
“S-Suicide? Just like Hori’s?” gasped Hellen.
“Oh. Interesting” said Fushichin with big eyes.
“She paid me quite well, so I couldn’t refuse. And naturally I thought of investigating the crime scene itself. So, I asked captain Verjuan for a search and investigation warrant. But I got rejected.” said Kyong.
“Your captain too? Seriously, what's up with every captain suddenly being a pansy coward?” grumbled Hui Ying with anger.
“Hmm. It’s not Verjuan’s fault. He told me that he couldn’t get the warrant because the supreme court rejected it. Obviously, I could individually make a request without asking a captain but doing so would only make it possible to get the warrant 2 or 3 months later and most likely also would get rejected.” said Kyong.
“Dammit, so what do we do?” asked Hellen with frustration.
“This is an emergency, right? You and I both need to investigate the prison to find the truth and yet judges are refusing to give us permission for whatever reason. So, we simply have to make a warrant for ourselves.” said Kyong with a smirk.
“W-what do you mean?” said Hui Ying.
“Don’t tell me. Are you actually-“ started Fushichin but Hellen got in his way “Could you please make it for us. We would like to pay you.”
Kyong giggled and said “That’s great to hear. But uhh, this is not a safe place to speak. Follow me.”
They walked, on their way they met Casey and Kyong asked him to go with him and soon on the fourth floor of the police station they entered Kyong’s office. They found Dimitri there, sipping coffee.
“Heh, does Dimitri and Casey follow you around everywhere? Even now, you’re still trusting him not to snitch.” said Fushichin as he eyed the two detectives.
“I trust Kyong with my life. Unlike cowardly citizens, I choose who to trust and not to trust.” said Dimitri with a deadbeat tone.
“Hey no need to trash on other people. Kyong is a great detective that I look up to myself. I like his tricky methods” said Casey with a smirk.
“You’re quite lucky, we have the same goals and the same destination to investigate. We could use this warrant to fulfill both of our investigative needs.” said Kyong happily.
“Of course, and I do wanna ask, Do you have the report on Fasha’s case?” asked Hellen.
“I don’t. And I also heard from Verjuan that someone else was on the case hence why we couldn’t get the warrant.” said Kyong as he typed on his computer.
Soon the printer worked and printed out a document. Kyong got it, looked at it, got a pen and quickly scribbled something on it. Then Kyong showed the document to Hellen, Fushichin and Hui Ying.
“The Supreme Court allows the detectives to search through all the rooms of the Luviana women’s prison in Luvia district as well as interrogate workers and inmates of the prison. This is due to more detectives being needed in investigating the mysterious incidents of suicides that happened inside the prison.”
Hellen looked down to see that there was a “signed by the supreme court judge – Blorenz Ninowa” section. And under it was a handwritten signature.
“Man, if we’re caught, we’re totally screwed huh. Oh, why do we even need the stupid fake warrant to investigate a prison!” yelled Hui Ying with frustration.
“Yes, I also think it is weird. We can investigate any other places with or without a warrant. But for some reason, simply investigating a prison is being held back by so many people. What is going on?” said Hellen.
“Hey, why are you complaining? Isn’t this the great adventure that we’ve been seeking? I think things are starting to become very interesting indeed.” said Fushichin with a smirk.
