Klancy went to the dining hall and called the others to gather there.
Soon Galtomor, Hellen, Salim, Fushichin entered the dining hall one after another.
"Oh man, now I gotta read stuff from the truth files and alibis. Lame." said Fushichin as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Why did you even become a cop if you never liked reading?" asked Galtomor.
"Cause I get to flex my 200 IQ towards people like you who mock me." said Fushichin wildly and added "And I can read, I was just lowering your guard so to take you by surprise."
"What the hell are you on? We're on the same team dummy." said Galtomor, annoyed.
"So, what should we do next?" asked Salim.
"We read and discuss. We have a lot of information on our hands now. And the other suspects have yet to come." said Klancy.
"Do we have all the info we need? Shouldn't we also check the clothes of the suspects? There was a struggle between the culprit and the victim afterall!" said Galtomor said with worry.
"Sorry to disappoint ya, but a struggle may not have happened. Look at this." said Fushichin.
He brought out his phone, accessed the truth files section of his phone and showed Galtomor his recording. Galtomor carefully read.
"According to Marian, Tenma had wrinkled clothes and his collar was ripped during dinner. It's strange that only Marian noticed this. But considering how I had to closely inspect him to notice this, It's easy for the unsightful to miss." said Fushichin carelessly.
"I see. So Tenma struggled against someone before 18 pm? With whom?" asked Galtomor.
"I don't know that. Maybe the other suspects can tell us when they come." said Fushichin.
"The five of them sat on the chairs and started reading the files when Joey came into the dining hall"
"Guys guys. The team checked the clean knife for fingerprints and found none. I guess this knife really is super clean." Joey said hastily.
"Ahh, it just couldn't be that easy, could it." said Klancy lazily.
The detectives read the alibis and the truth files carefully for half an hour.
"Hmm." mumbled Hellen.
"What's the matter?" asked Fushichin.
"I feel like there is something off about certain alibis." said Hellen seriously.
"I feel so as well." said Klancy.
"Well, no use contemplating. Bring the one you suspect into the room and smack some truth onto their faces." said Fushichin.
"Hey, let me plan things a little." said Hellen with a frown as she scrolled through the files on her phone.

"All plans are doomed to fail! You gotta live in the present my girl, make shit up as you go." said Fushichin happily.
"Stop telling me what to do." grunted Hellen.
"I wasn't. It was just a friendly advice to my favorite police girl." said Fushichin.
"I'll kick you in the balls." said Hellen with a pout.
"Salim, could you bring the suspect if one of us calls for them?" asked Klancy.
"Sure." said Salim.
“Alright, then the first suspect I want you to call is…Marian” said Klancy.
Salim nodded and exited the dining hall. Soon he brought Marian with him.
“How can I help you?” said Marian, puzzled and worried.
Klancy looked at Marian carefully. He looked at the truth files to double check one last time.
“So, Marian, you sure you have told us everything correctly in your alibi? Is there anything you have failed to mention?” asked Klancy.
“No, I have mentioned what has happened to me during the day of the murder” said Marian.
“Yes…But strangely, I think there is a contradiction in your testimony” said Klancy.
Marian frowned “I beg your pardon?”
Klancy continued “I think you lied. You specifically lied during the events of 15 PM.” said Klancy.
Fusichin and Hellen smirked, Galtomor and Salim carefully eyed Marian’s reaction. She silently looked mean towards Klancy.
”Yumiko has given her alibi and said that at 15 after she departed with you, she went to the kitchen. You said you went to the kitchen after departing with Yumiko as well. Strange isn't it. How none of you saw each other in the kitchen." said Klancy confidently.
"Ahh!" gasped Marian.
"It's too late to take back your words. You're hiding something from us." declared Klancy as he wagged his finger towards her.
"Oh, sorry sorry. Please, this was just a genuine mistake! My mind is hazy after Tenma's death is all." said Marian frantically.
Marian’s eyes lit up, smiled and said "But now I remember the truth. I was actually at the garage at that time."
"Really?" questioned Salim with doubt.
"Yes, yes. I usually clean stuff at the kitchen around that hour. So I messed up. Sorry" said Marian with a sad face.
Klancy couldn’t help but smile and said "Wow...You're really bad at lying, aren't you?"

"Huh?" gasped Marian.
"You being at the garage at 15 doesn't make sense because of the garage footage." said Klancy.
Marian’s eyes widened.
"You said you were at the garage at 15. Well, I don't see any of that in the footage." said Klancy.
"Oh...yeah, that's-" mumbled Marian.
"That was a terrible lie. Considering that you showed me the footage yourself, you should have remembered." said Fushichin as he smirked playfully.
Marian could only stay silent in response to those jabbing words.
"Stop stalling and tell us what exactly happened at 15 pm!" yelled Klancy.
Marian still remained silent as she grabbed her arm in vain.
"I'm honestly clueless about what you are hiding. 15 pm isn't an important time frame for Tenma's murder." said Fushichin.
"I'm not hiding anything. I simply misremembered. I have a bad memory, see. I was actually outside of the mansion at this time." said Marian and with a pained expression continued
"My brain somehow messed up and thought I did something before going out on a stroll outside of the mansion. But in fact, I didn't. After separating from Yumiko I simply got out of the mansion and walked."
Salim did not have any of it. He pointed his finger towards Marian and yelled “Bullshit! You're definitely lying. There is no way someone would make up a false alibi twice because of a bad memory."
"I am old. You seem to be about 30 years old. Well I'm 48. My memory tend to mess up during stressful situations." said Marian with fierce.
"Huh, I dunno, you seemed pretty levelheaded when we spoke at the office." said Fushichin.
"Look, I'm tired and stressed out. I don't want to deal with any more emotional stress. You aren't going to pay for my medical bills if I suddenly collapse here, now are you?" said Marian.
Saying that Marian went away from the detectives and leaned against the door.
"What do we do now?" asked Hellen.
"I'm afraid we can't force the truth out of her. We don't have any evidence that links her to Tenma's murder or the kidnapping so taking her to a cell to interrogate is out of the question." said Klancy.
He turned to face the group and said "Let's remember this event but don't push her hard."
