I wanted to be as loving and as caring, just like them. But it seems as if whatever love that I had was fake. All I had for the past month was the hate for my parents who stole my freedom away. Mew gently caressed Hori's face and kissed her on the forehead.

"It's too late Mew. I knew that I couldn't be with you if my murder plan was found out. But I still did it anyway. Heh, maybe I just didn't really care. Maybe I thought I could keep on lying to you and everyone else about being innocent." said Hori with a smirk.

"Well, it's settled then. Hori will be taken, along with Marian who attempted a murder." said Juniper.

Juniper walked towards them with cuffs in her hand.

Salim pulled out a taser from his belt. But before he fired, someone rushed in front of the girls. It was Hellen who arrived in front of them and extended his arms to be a shield.

"Hellen?" gasped Klancy.

"What the hell are you doing?" grunted Salim.

"I...I don't think what we are doing is right." said Hellen.

"Move aside Hellen. Stop acting like an amateur." yelled Salim.

"If we put her in jail, how does that make us any better than the kidnappers?" asked Hellen.

"We're doing what is in the law Hellen. It is our job, our duty." said Klancy.

"Is it our duty to separate lovers?" asked Hellen.

"There really isn't any point in imprisoning Hori. It's not like Tenma is gonna come back from death after we put Hori in jail. All we'll be doing is ruining Hori and Mew's lives. This is first degree murder, she is gonna spend the rest of her life in the slummer." said Fushichin.

"Yeah. But we have to do it. We have done this many times." said Klancy.

"So many times that most of us got numb to stealing the freedom of others." said Fushichin.

Klancy yelled "She stole Tenma's right to live. She is a menace to society. She has to be put in prison to secure the safety of-"

"Do you seriously believe that? She killed out of fear and vengeance. Yeah, clearly she is not free from her hatred and lust to kill. But really, how many of us are actually free from that?" said Fushichin with a smirk.

Fushichin added "It's okay to let her go. I don't think she'll kill another person again."

"How are you sure? Once a person kills, they become free to kill again." said Juniper with a frown.

"Tenma was forcing her to live in the mansion and arranged a marriage for her. I'm not a law expert but you could argue self defense." said Fushichin with hesitation.

"No, in no way this is self defense. She'll be lucky to not get a life sentence." said Klancy.

"But come on, she is not gonna kill again. Especially if Mew is looking out for her." said Fushichin with a smile.

"I get what you're trying to say. But we have to do things by the rulebook right?" said Joey.

"Yeah, unless you want yourself or your teammates to lose their jobs Fushichin." said Klancy.
