Now what? I was about to finish the deal and I had to get stopped by someone. Waiting for them to release the spell, I made no attempt at conversations. When it was done, I made sure to keep the end of the nonexistent agreement by not attacking Touya further.
The nagging pain was restricting my movements so all I could do was turn around to see the person who stopped my greatest win ever. A girl with grey hair and lime color eyes, she had a pretty basic hairstyle with it being long and being nicely combed. She crossed her arms, and stared at me in disappointment.
“What were you going to do to him?” she asked, even though it was obvious.
I guess she wants to see if I’ll say it myself. “I was about to finish him off,” I responded, giving a half truth.
Paying more attention to my surroundings, I caught glimpses of five students, including her, going where Abigail, Lester, Lester’s friend, and Nelson were. By the look of it, I may have gotten the biggest fish coming after me.
“It’s just the second day and you first-years are already fighting…” she sighed, shaking her head.
So she isn’t a first year, well, that was obvious just by looking at her. Not to mention how she looks older, you could pretty much tell if you take a good look at her.
“So what’s going to happen to us?” I curiously asked, no hostility at all.
Since I was a bit tired, which was an understatement, I sat on the unconscious body of Touya. This didn’t seem to please the girl as her gaze got sterner.
“You’ll be brought to a part of school to be questioned about the situation. So I advise you stop sitting on him since all witnesses will be taken into account,” she sternly warned.
“Okay,” I half heartedly replied, but not getting up.
If I was going to be forcefully removed then get someone to do it because I’m not getting up from this comfortable seat. Unfortunately she was adamant on it so I had to oblige, getting up but wincing in pain.
We were escorted into a separate part of the building, where we were questioned about the situation. A teacher or staff member was the one conducting the questioning. I gave my account of the story that aligned with the rest of the witnesses. I guess because spells were thrown many students saw the match, not just first years but the whole grade.
Of course it wasn’t everyone, but students from all classes and grades were mixed in the crowd of witnesses. According to most students, all they saw was us battling and the aftermath. Strangely enough nobody saw anything past Lester leaving me alone with Touya. I wonder how it was done.

The group of students who stopped us were part of the student council. More specifically, the disciplinary committee. The girl who stopped me was apparently the leader of the disciplinary committee. She was in her second year so that’s pretty impressive.
Touya’s injuries weren’t bad enough for him to get him hospitalized, this was most likely because when I attacked him I was out of mana. Punishment for breaking the rules still awaited us. If we were found guilty of attacking them first we would be given appropriate punishment according to our actions. But other than that we were going to be fine.
Since the interrogation took quite some time, clases were naturally skipped. We were let out after school. Keep in mind that the break given is when there are a few classes left.
That should’ve happened, but I was held back due to a certain second year. She wanted to ask me a few questions so the person in charge left the room. She sat in the chair in front me, drinking a cup of coffee. She placed it down, and stared at me.
“So? Why did you do that to a fellow student?”
“…”
I was in no mood for whatever she wanted to ask me so I just stayed silent. Since this isn’t an official interrogation she couldn’t force me speak or anything of that nature. As such I was not required to respond to her.
“You aren’t going to answer me, huh?”
“…”
“Fine. Have it your way,” she clicked her tongue and let me go.
As I headed out of the she placed her hand on my shoulder, put her mouth close to my ear. She used her free hand to touch my chest.
“I can’t help you all that time so please be on your best behavior, darling,” she seductively whispered in my ear.
What the fuck…?
She attempted to kiss my cheek, but I gently pushed her away. I had no idea what was going through her head and I didn’t want to know either.
“I thank you for helping me, but don’t do all that,” I chided, keeping my distance.
“Aw, if you say so…” she placed a finger on her lips, and acted all sad.
“…”
…
Fucking slut.
I stopped trying to understand her, and left the room. When exiting the building, I was greeted by the sight of all the people at my sides during the battle. Nelson had a few bandages in his arm, while the rest looked to be fine. Oh, I also had no bandages, but that was because I refused them. Don’t ask why.
“Man, what am I going to do!!!” Nelson shouted, panicking.
“Hm? What are you worrying about?”
“Taetel! I’m going to see them tomorrow! How am I supposed to act after they attack us!” Nelson exclaimed, pacing around the area.
“You do have a point,” I said, awkwardly smiling.
How is he supposed to come in class after beating fifteen—I mean sixteen students in the same class? I bet it will not only be awkward but tension will definitely be in the air. Luckily, it was only a fraction of the whole class so, it should be fine for the most part.
It should be fine, right?
