I wasn’t going to let them be the first to attack, so I summoned a rock wall to my left side. I at least wanted to have protection in case they attempted long range attacks. Since a few students began charging at us, I really didn’t have much time to do much else.
I ducked, avoiding a hook coming to my face. I gritted my teeth a bit due to the nagging soreness. Using a pushing kick, I made some very much needed distance. I immediately swept under the students leg, making them collapse and hit their heads on the ground.
To the other one approaching, I grabbed their arm and in a one fluid motion I threw them onto the ground. For good measure, I kicked both of them in their stomach. Running away from the two students I knocked out, I went to support Nelson who was struggling. He took a direct blow to the stomach, yet responded by attacking the student's chin.
Unfortunately for Nelson, the attacker managed to dodge it, kneeing Nelson in the same area. I quickly swung at the student, clobbering the back of her head. Having no time to rest, I began fending off the rest of the attackers.
One of them threw a fireball spell which I could only dodge. By doing this, it put me in a bad position, receiving a strike to the face by another student. Staggering, I still managed to deliver a kick to the ribs. Yet this wasn’t enough to take them out of the battle.
As such I ate another jab to the cheek, I got closer and upper cutting them. To make sure things were done, I kneed them right at her face. I was getting quite tired, my mana was being consumed by keeping Lester sane. With many disadvantages at hand, all I could do is play the cards given.
Nelson wiped sweat off his face as he touched his chest, right where his heart was. When he saw the upcoming barrage of spells coming our way, he placed his hands at the ground making the ground cover us in a ball-like structure.
As the spells made impact with the rock, pieces flew away like tiny pebbles. Since that wasn’t enough to protect us from harm, few spells still made their way towards us. Having no choice, but to use the little mana I had, I stretched my hand, and made a barrier from mana alone. This consumed way more than using an element barrier.
However, it was more effective in protecting us from these spells. You could say this barrier was a more advanced version of something like a rock wall, fire wall, water wall, or any element as a barrier. This was due to obvious reasons as water is resistant to fire, etc.
The spells collided with the barrier I put up, yet they couldn’t get through. Since I was occupied by this barrier, I couldn’t protect myself from the student running towards us. Nelson tried his best in hand to hand combat, but was overwhelmed.
All I could do is switch the barrier, to a rock one and dash at the student fighting Nelson. Using my almost depleted mana, I charged one quick attack, punching the student, sending him flying.

The rock wall was destroyed leaving us vulnerable to upcoming spells, all I could do was grab Nelson and start running to get away.
Due to my mana being completely depleted, Lester was consumed by rage and attacked recklessly at Touya. He completely took advantage of this and quickly got the upper hand.
I had no way to back him up due to me being busy with this. Yet I took into account that not many spells were heading our way, turning around to see it for myself, I saw Abigail and Lester’s friend fighting the students. The number of students were diminishing, many of them laying on the ground.
I made a important decision, should I help him or no—
Of course, I’m going to!
With absolutely no hesitation, I let Nelson rest, and sprinted towards Touya. His composure broke as he didn’t seem to be expecting me. This caused Lester to connect a clean hit right at his face. Taking advantage of this, I hit him right at the solar plexus, although not as strong as I couldn’t enhance my fist, it still must’ve hurt and he made a gurgling noise.
He got to his knees, trying to get up by placing his palm onto his knee. Unfortunately for him I wasn’t going to let him this opportunity, as I kicked him right at his generic face. As Lester was still being affected by this spell, I had to search for Yukiko.
Though I didn’t have to as Abigail was fighting with her, it seemed like she had to release the spell to fight better. Due to this Lester came back to his senses, he still looked annoyed not because of the spell but because of Yukiko.
Since he was angry at her, he left Touya and went after Yukiko. This left me alone with Touya, I stomped his hand that was reaching out for an unknown thing. He groaned in pain, closing his eyes. I moved my foot, squishing his hand as it was a bug.
I then grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, raising him closer to me. I raised my right hand, and kept raining punch after punch to his face. Dropping him due to the pain throughout my body, I wiped a bit of blood that got on my cheek. Even though it was not fatal, Touya’s face was bleeding with him having a black eye.
“Where is that nice guy I know? Are you going to apologize for being so pathetic?” I mocked, kicking his abdominal area.
He put his hand over it, attempting to lessen the pain, though I didn’t care as I just wanted to kick him. He didn’t seem like he wanted to answer, so I placed my foot on his head.
“You know what I should do?” I asked, not caring if he answered.
“If you don’t want to answer me, then I’ll just make your life easier,” I said, looking down at him, both in the literal and figurative sense.
I grabbed both of his wrists with my left hand, since he was on the verge of unconsciousness he couldn’t fight back. I moved his legs a bit with my foot, I raised my right foot, hovering over a very special place.
“What do you say?” I asked, genuinely wanting to know his answer.
Due to not getting a response, I figured to proceed. As I was about to crush his member, I was stopped by an invisible force. It didn’t take much effort to bind me due to all the damages I received today.
“Stop, don’t go any further.”
