"Is that some kind of primitive city?"
The one who asked this question was Saemi, and she wasn't entirely wrong in thinking so, but I think the more appropriate term for this would be a primitive settlement. We were currently on a small sloping hill, below us were the monsters from our mission.
They were inside what appeared to be a settlement surrounded by small wooden walls. Although the walls are not that small, they are still too small to call them walls. The houses were made of wood with a straw roof, and there were several Goblins walking around inside.
"How do we attack them?"
Fujiwara asked as he looked at me. Hearing his words, I started to look closely at the Goblin settlement. Initially, I thought of starting a fire in the place and preventing the Goblins from leaving, but that would probably also cause a mass fire in the forest.
Besides, Goblins are extremely weak, so I don't think we need to hide. I think it will be fine even if we face them head-on. With that thought in mind, I started to tell the girls what the plan would be, although it wasn't much different from the other times.
"Support me from here; I will enter the settlement"
Hearing my words, the girls nodded in agreement. After that, I turned away from the girls and started to approach the settlement through the bushes. As soon as I approached the settlement, I prepared to start the attack.
"Cloning"
As soon as I said that, a black mist came off my body, and within seconds, two clones of me appeared in front of me.
"Dark step"
As soon as I stepped into the shadows, I began to move to the right of the settlement. While I was doing this, my clones would wait in the spot I assigned them. As soon as I reached the center of the settlement, I waited for a good number of Goblins to gather in a nearby area around where I was. As soon as I felt there was a good amount of them, I jumped out of the shadows, stopping right in the middle of them all.
"Glacial Mist"
As soon as I said this, a white mist started to appear around me. As soon as the mist started to spread, it was already too late. The Goblins only started to notice that something was wrong when one of their companions was frozen in front of them. After that, panic started to run wild inside the camp.

Several Goblins began to run looking for a way out but all were cut by wind attacks, burned by fire attacks, or frozen by ice attacks. A few Goblins who noticed that it was impossible to escape decided to come towards me, thinking that if I killed me, the chaos would cease.
Wielding axes, spears, and swords, the Goblins began to crowd around me, their faces, for some reason, smiling even in the chaos we found ourselves in. It reminded me once again that these things, although they look like green humans, are actually monsters.
(Well, after all, they saved me the trouble of gathering them)
As soon as I thought this, the shadow around me began to deform, and soon two copies of me emerged from the ground. Seeing this, the Goblins began to freak out. This is probably the first time they have seen something like this.
(Well, it's really none of my business)
As soon as I thought of this, my clones started to launch ultrasonic waves towards the Goblins. As soon as a Goblin was caught, it fell instantly to the ground, its eyes turned completely white, showing that it was already dead. Looking around, the only thing I could see were the bodies of Goblins on the ground along with burned or frozen houses. The place looked like a war camp.
(Haaa, finally aca...)
My thought was abruptly interrupted by a loud thud coming from my back that launched me at high speed towards one of the houses. As soon as my body hit the house, it was completely destroyed by the impact. But although it looked like a serious accident, I was not as injured as I should have been. When this thought came to my mind, it really made me think that I am becoming less and less human.
"But even if I'm not mortally wounded, that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt"
Saying these words, I could finally see what had thrown me. In front of me was a monster very similar to the Goblins. The only difference was that he was probably somewhere between 2 and 3 meters tall. His hand was holding something like a club, but it was made entirely of wood, or rather, it looked as if he had plucked a tree and cut it down to a size where he could hold it with one hand.
As soon as the giant Goblin noticed that I wasn't dead, he started coming towards me. As soon as he got close enough, he raised his club high enough, and with great speed, he lowered it towards me. But before the club could even get close to me, his actions were stopped by invisible wires that caught not only the Goblin's club but also his body.
"Intelligence doesn't seem to be your strong suit"
I said as I looked at the Goblin, even though I didn't know if he would be able to understand what I was saying. But as soon as he heard my words, he started struggling on the wires, trying to get free at any cost. Although I doubt he understood, I think he was able to understand that what I just said was an insult.
(Maybe he's not such an idiot)
With this thought in my mind, I closed my hand, causing all the wires to press against the giant Goblin's body, causing it to break into several pieces while a shower of blood fell from where he was standing.
