Perhaps understanding the meaning of my words, all the wolves started to run quickly towards me, i watched each one of them as I looked for an opening, as soon as the first wolf came at me and tried to bite me, I jumped to the side dodging it, but quickly another one arrived on my side.

"Fast step"

Saying those words, I appeared on top of the wolves who looked around confused not knowing where I went.

"Dark manipulation"

Using my power I shape the shadow into a sword shape and fall towards one of the wolves, as soon as I get close enough, I rip the wolf's head off, but at the same time I alert all the others who came looking for me.

I thought as I dodged one of the wolves that tried to attack me, and just as I imagined as soon as I looked into one of the bushes, I saw Saemi with her hand pointed at where I was standing, she seemed ready to cast her spell.

"Paralyzing Mist, Fast Step"

Saying those words, a mist appears around me and starts to expand catching the wolves, at the same time I disappear from where I was and appear again next to Saemi.

"Now"

I said after appearing next to Saemi, at my command dozens of air bullets fly towards the wolves that were paralyzed thanks to my ability, in the midst of the mist I realize that several were hit although I don't believe that all of them died, after Saemi's shots cease and the mist has dispersed I can see the result of the battle, several wolves on the ground were lifeless while a few that were standing were already too injured to continue the fight.

"Is it over?"

Saemi asked beside me.

"For now yes, all that's left are those inside the cave since those here can't fight anymore"

I said as I raised my arm towards the wolves.

"Glacial ray"

As soon as I said this a beam of blue energy formed in front of my palm before being launched towards the wolves, within seconds all the wolves that were still alive and the ones that had already died turned into ice statues.

"Wow, that's a pretty strong ability.

I said as I looked at the palm of my hand where I could see a small remnant of icy air coming out, with all the wolves defeated only the ones inside the cave were left, Saemi and I stood in front of the cave that was still being held by my ability, strangely I didn't feel any pressure from inside, it wasn't looking like the wolves were trying to get out.

"Ready?"

I asked as I looked at Saemi, Saemi just nodded her head indicating that she was ready too, once Saemi left her prepared spell pointing towards the cave I slowly began to lower the wall of darkness that covered the cave, as soon as I fully lowered the shield, I went into full attention ready for any kind of attack but strangely nothing happened, me and Saemi waited for about 3 minutes with nothing happening.

"What happened?"

Saemi asked confused, although I blocked the entrance, I find it hard that the pack leader didn't sense there was something going on.

"They could have escaped...but I don't remember this cave having an exit somewhere else, I mean when we first came here it didn't seem like the wolves got out anywhere else but here"

I said as confused as Saemi, while we were confused by the event Glasy approached us and started sniffing the air again, in a few seconds Glasy stood still looking at the cave entrance before a growl was heard, although I was confused, I decided to look where Glasy was looking, after all, she seems to be quite good at locating, and within seconds several eyes appeared from within the cave, all of them were looking at us, for some reason I felt that those eyes were watching us like food.

While we were at it a howl could be heard echoing from inside the cave, as soon as they heard the howl all the wolves ran towards us, i looked at Saemi and saw that she was looking at me with a desperate face not knowing what to do.

"Flame"

As soon as I said that a wall of flames appeared at the entrance of the cave but even that was not enough to stop the wolves, in the midst of the fire they all kept running until they crossed the wall of fire, some had no luck while others made it through, and among the ones that made it through was the wolf with a scar over his eye.

Glasy started growling as soon as she saw the wolf with the scar although it didn't seem that the target of her anger was caring, suddenly the wolves started to surround us which was quite strange, we didn't hear any noise and yet the wolves started to move in an organized manner, it probably must be the telepathy ability that Aurora-sama had said.

(Well, I guess this is a good time to test this ability)

I thought as I looked around, all the wolves were in position prepared to attack.

"Saemi, I will create a distraction, get on top of Glasy in the meantime and run away from here"

When I said that Saemi looked at me with doubt in her eyes.

"But what about you?"

Saemi asked worriedly.

"Don't worry, I promise I can win, but unfortunately I won't be able to go with everything if you stay that close to me like that"

I said receiving a nod from Saemi indicating that she had understood.

"All right, just... be careful"

I smiled at Saemi's words.

"Are you worried about me?"

However, as soon as she heard my words, she said something that I was not expecting to hear coming from her.

"Yes, I am, you are someone important to me so of course I would be"
