"Elowin, Arclight... am I correct?"

The being currently behind Elowin inquired. The voice sounded distorted, oscillating between tones both feminine and masculine, or perhaps indicating it belonged to neither gender. Elowin turned slowly, finally laying his eyes upon the being that had spoken.

Leaning against the window, a figure shrouded in shadows observed Elowin with intense blue eyes spiraling. The more Elowin stared into those eyes, the heavier his breath became, as if he were gazing upon something he shouldn't be.

"Hmm... am I so insignificant that I'm not worth a response from you?"

As soon as Elowin heard these words, an immense pressure seemed to engulf his body. Though he couldn't see it, something else was present in the room, alongside the entity that was now watching him. He couldn't determine if the being was enjoying his predicament, but in the end, the pressure was so overwhelming that Elowin had no choice but to kneel on the floor, struggling to maintain his consciousness.

"How dare you, such rudeness in front of the king! Kneel, filthy human!"

Though Elowin couldn't identify the source of that voice, he could at least tell it was a woman's. However, it was impossible for Elowin to look in the direction of the girl, as he was already using all his strength to remain conscious.

"Shade, I believe this won't be necessary. Besides, it will be difficult to converse with him if he faints from your pressure"

After these words, Elowin felt the suffocating pressure decrease to a point where he could lift his gaze. However, he remained kneeling on the ground. Elowin couldn't understand why the girl referred to the creature in front of him as king. Which realm could this entity belong to? Or better yet, is there any realm in the world that would accept being ruled by such an malevolent entity? Elowin was truly puzzled and had no answer to this question.

In the end, it made him realize that the entity before him possessed immeasurable power and wealth, perhaps even more than Arclight. If he played his cards wisely, he could gain a powerful ally. And best of all, he wouldn't need to kill Sylvia with his own hands if someone did it for him.

"I apologize for not responding appropriately earlier. As you mentioned, my name is Elowin Arclight, I am the future king of Arclight"

Elowin said, turning his gaze back to the entity. Two pairs of spiraling blue eyes watched him, seeming to see through his soul. Though Elowin trembled inside, he knew he needed to continue. To achieve his goal and finally rid himself of his sister, he was willing to do whatever it took, even if it meant selling his soul to the entity before him.

Next to the entity, a beautiful young woman watched him. Her beauty was so dazzling that Elowin was surprised to see her. Her appearance transcended anything he had ever seen. This caused a fierce greed to take hold of Elowin, he wanted her, every aspect of her, her voluminous breasts, her ass, everything was to be his.

(If I play my cards right, maybe he'll lend me his servant for a bit)

Elowin thought as he discreetly licked his lips, almost as if a juicy piece of meat were in front of him.

"Hahahahahahahaha"

Suddenly, as he was thinking this, the loud sound of laughter echoed in the room. Elowin, confused, looked at the entity in front of him. He really couldn't tell if the being was laughing or not. Did the entity have a mouth to begin with? However, the laughter was certainly coming from the entity in front of him.

"Even in front of me, you act like that... Did you like Shade? Although I don't see her in a sexual way, I have to admit that Shade is quite pretty"

Said the entity in front of her with a humorous tone.

"T-Thank you for your words, my king... I'm really happy to know that my body pleases you"

Said the girl, with a slight blush taking over her cheeks. Elowin quickly realized that the girl seemed to have feelings for her king, although he didn't know if the entity shared the same feelings.

"But even so, I really didn't like the way you looked at something that belongs to me"

Said the entity in front of him, its tone sounding evil and perverse. Before Elowin could even understand what was happening, a slight burning sensation took hold of his arm. Slowly, Elowin moved his gaze towards the arm, but as soon as his eyes locked onto the burning spot, he was completely surprised.

There was no arm, or rather, for some reason, where his arm should have been, there was now only a void followed by a huge pool of blood on the floor. Behind Elowin, a strange noise echoed.

Slowly turning his head, Elowin came face to face with an enormous creature that covered almost the entire room. Although it resembled a wolf, Elowin couldn't say for sure that it really was one.

In the creature's mouth, his arm was being crushed brutally.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh... my arm, my arm, uuuuuuu"

A scream of pain echoed throughout the room as Elowin finally understood the gravity of the situation he was in. He realized too late that the being in front of him had never given him a chance, perhaps not even considered him an equal.

(I need to call the guards, someone, if I call someone, I'll be safe)

These were Elowin's thoughts as he dragged himself miserably to the door. However, as soon as his hand touched the doorknob, Elowin suddenly found himself staring at his own body. He didn't know what had happened, why was his body at the door while his vision was elsewhere? Unfortunately, that answer would never be given, because after that moment, Elowin was no longer alive.

"As I mentioned earlier, never try to touch what belongs to me"

Those were the last words Elowin heard before everything around him plunged into complete darkness.
