After our encounter with the wolf Saemi and I were sitting while we watched the wolf eat one of our meats, well, it's not like we were in short supply, besides, if we need more I can just go hunting, the fact is, in a place where various monsters are constantly trying to kill us for the first time a monster appears that is quite similar to some animal from our world besides apparently it is not trying to kill us.

"Are you sure about this?"

Saemi asked from beside me.

"I think so...I mean, and my first time seeing a monster that isn't trying to kill us"

I said as I looked at the wolf who continued to feast on the meat, we gave him.

"She's hurt pretty bad, I wonder what happened to her?"

Saemi asked as he looked at the wounds the wolf.

"I don't know, maybe it was attacked? but that's strange, wolves usually walk in packs and hardly abandon a pack member, but this one seems to be all alone”

As various doubts surrounded my head a voice made itself present.

"Oh, that's quite interesting, she seems to be from the pack of the boss on the third floor"

Said Aurora-sama in my head.

(What do you mean Aurora-sama?)

"That's basically what you heard, the 3rd floor boss is a Glacial wolf, although he's not as strong as the other two bosses his real highlight is his power of telepathy, with that he can command his whole pack to make coordinated attacks, this she-wolf seems to have come from there, although I don't know why she's injured like that"

Hearing Aurora-sama's answer an idea popped into my head.

"So, we can use her to know the location of the boss?”

"That's really possible"

Aurora-sama replied, leaving me with a smile on my face.

"What's wrong Makoto? Why are you smiling out of nowhere?"

Asked Saemi confused beside me while looking at me.

"Ah, sorry about that, I was talking to my goddess, apparently we will be able to find the location of the boss with the help of this she-wolf"

I said as I looked at the she-wolf who was on her last piece of meat.

"Really?"

Saemi asked visibly surprised looking at the she-wolf immediately afterwards.

"But... how do we get her to help us, can she even understand what we are saying?"

Saemi asked, I was actually confused about that part too.

"You don't have to worry about that, ice wolves are extremely intelligent animals, although I can't say that she will understand 100% of what you say to her at least she should be able to understand your intention"

Aurora-sama said.

"My goddess said that ice wolves are very intelligent"

I said looking at Saemi right away.

"Glacial wolf?"

Saemi asked confused.

"Oh, I forgot that the conversation between me and Aurora-sama can't be heard by other people, apparently her race is called glacial wolf"

Hearing my answer Saemi's cheeks for some reason inflated a little which was quite cute to tell the truth.

"What happened?"

I asked in doubt.

"Nothing"

Saemi asked, but I could still sense that she was a little irritated although I can't tell you why.

"Sometimes you can be incredibly clueless Makoto"

Aurora-sama said in my head, while this was happening the she-wolf had already finished eating and was now looking at me and Saemi, although she didn't look like she was going to attack I was still on guard in case something happened, even though the appearance is that of a wolf it is still a monster, slowly I got up from where I was standing and started walking slowly towards the she-wolf.

"Rrrrrrrrr"

Again, she started to emit a growling sound but for some reason I felt that she was not going to attack me.

"Makoto, are you sure about this?"

Saemi spoke behind me.

"It's okay, she won't try to attack us... probably"

I said.

"You know... that wasn't encouraging at all”

Saemi replied sarcastically, i continued advancing slowly towards the she-wolf and once I got close enough, I raised my arm towards the wolf.

"Rrrrrrrrr"

More growls were being produced but still I stood my ground and waited still for some action from the she-wolf, slowly she began to move closer to me, stopping a few inches from my hand she was no longer growling, although it didn't look like she was going to advance any further than that.

"Come on, you don't have to be afraid, we won't hurt you"

I said in an attempt to make the she-wolf trust me, hearing my words slowly the she-wolf began to move forward again and soon her head was in my hands, she began to rub her head against my hand and I reciprocated by doing the same.

"That's it, good girl"

I said as I stroked the she-wolf.

"Saemi, come here"

I said after turning around, Saemi was looking at this scene with curiosity as she approached.

"Come, put your hand on top of her head"

I said as I slowly guided Saemi's hand towards the wolf's head, after that a really warm scene unfolded before my eyes, Saemi was petting the she-wolf while being licked, this was a scene I probably would never see if I hadn't come to babel, which is a bit ironic to tell you the truth.

"Hahaha, calm down, I'm not running away"

Saemi said amidst several licks from the she-wolf, the she-wolf seemed to be quite happy as she interacted with Saemi as well, putting that aside I approach both of them with one goal in mind.

"Hey, I wonder if you could take us to where your pack is staying?"

I asked, the she-wolf stared at me for a few seconds before she turned and started walking towards the forest, Saemi and I looked at each other for a few seconds before we both nodded our heads following the she-wolf soon after.
