So you’re telling me that, Ian thought of it before doing it?!”

“That’s crazy!”

Ian, Raelynn, Angelina and the two other actresses were discussing Ian's projects back to back.

And from how the conversation flew, it was obvious that the two actresses were big fans of Ian’s works.

“Yeah, it is.”

“Well, I’ll excuse myself for a couple of drinks,” Ian said and walked off, as he knew he needed more boosts.

The women started to talk among themselves for the next few minutes.

Soon after, Raelynn and Angelina were left alone in the corner of the event.

“Angelina, we didn’t get a chance to talk at all, how are you feeling now the shooting is over?” Rae asked Angelina casually.

For the night, Raelynn had a goal that she thought she wanted to achieve. And it had everything to do with her own pleasure.

“Ah, what can I say? I feel relieved and sad at the same time. The shooting and the process… Oh, and not to mention the cast! It was all amazing, Rae. And I miss being dressed as Kay,” she said and chuckled. “Oh, I’m running out of drink, would you mind?”

“Not at all. Let me come with you.”

The pair went and started drinking by the bar.

At this point of the event, more than half the crowd were drunk. Some walked home, but others continued to talk business.

“You have lovely hair,” Raelynn complimented Angelina.

Angelina turned crimson red. “I- Thank you. Raelynn, would you mind if I ask a personal question?” she questioned, looking slyly at Rae.

Raelynn couldn’t help but notice how cute the girl was.

“Please, go ahead.”

“Okay, and this could be a very common question you get daily. But I’m just curious… What is it like—dating, Ian?” she asked.

Raelynn laughed at the question.

“Well, I wouldn’t go that far and say that I get asked this all the time,” she said and paused. Then she realised it was true. Not every day she gets asked. “In fact, only one or two people have ever asked that question.”

“So?”

“So, it has been… one hell of a ride, to be honest,” she said and took a sip from her drink.

Angelina was right aiming towards it.

“Do you have your own opportunities?” she questioned.

Raelynn quickly shook her head. “Not really. The thing with dating Ian was that… He will not mix pleasure and business. Uh, well, sometimes he does. But he doesn’t do things that would affect his image. Especially not when I’m around,” she said and smiled.

“Ah… So, he does like to get a bit kinky?” Angelina whispered but didn’t go unheard by Raelynn. She quickly closed her mouth with her hand. “Oh, my God! I-I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to-”

“It’s okay, shh… It’s alright,” Raelynn played it cool.

But with how Angelina’s eyes would often run back to Ian, she realised that there had to be something that was going on in her mind.

Maybe that something could be a thing she was interested in.

“I’m sorry, it’s just… You both seem to have the perfect relationship. And uh, it just looks very cute,” she said, stuttering between her words.

Raelynn chuckled. “The perfect relationship doesn’t exist, I bet. How about a couple of drinks and we can talk about it?”

With her request, they both started to discuss things that Raelynn hadn’t discussed with anyone.

“... But maybe in the future, Ian,” Brad Crutchfield replied to his previous proposal.

Ian understood where he came from. Brad was taking a break from directing movies to focus on his family life—which apparently was not in the best place.

“Well, contact me whenever you’re interested,” He said and shook hands, once again.

“Ian,” Brad addressed. Ian looked up from his drink and allowed him to continue. “If you don’t mind, I’d dare to go ahead and ask, why have you been collaborating a lot recently? With the talent you have and the sight, you can easily create the works you like.”

“Oh… Brad, what good way to create allies better than collaborating? And for me, I sure am aware that I’ve got only one perspective in my head about things. So, it’s always a great pleasure to bring more brains to the table.”

Brad lifted his glass, hearing Ian’s reply. “Now that… That is something I can approve of. Creating allies in this cutthroat business is smart. Is that what you did with The Godfather?” he questioned straightaway.

“Nah, I just wanted some insight on the movie. Something similar to me, but something that would enhance my perspective. Joseph was really good to help.”

“Uh, excuse me…” Raelynn walked in and interrupted the conversation. Brad nodded with approval and turned to meet with the other directors. “Now would be the best time to give your vote of thanks. And then, we can leave.”

“Hmm… Where’s Murphy?” He questioned back.

-

After finding Murphy, and getting his speech together, he walked to the front and looked at everyone briefly.

The majority had their eyes on him, but one or two looked way too out to focus on anything.

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen…” he started by saying. “At this point, my crew must be so tired of hearing a similar thank you speech by the end of every movie shooting. And trust me, they really get to hear it, every time.”

Everyone laughed.

“But thank you. For every single one of you. Mr Joseph, you have been a massive help all the way. I couldn’t thank you enough. My cast and crew. How lovely of all of you to join us on this journey. I just want to remind you that this is not the end. This, in fact, is just the beginning. And last but not least, I’d like to thank Uncle Mason. Without him, there would be no studio. There would be no Ian Renner. Thank you, everyone! Please enjoy the night! And… all of you look like you just got out of The Godfather,” he said and everyone cheered.

"Yess! Ian!!"

"Thank you!!"

"Yessss!"

He got off the stage and walked towards Raelynn, who was still clapping along with the others.

“You looked great up there,” she said and gave a broad, warm smile.

“Thanks-”

“Now let’s go,” she said and started walking to the opposite.

‘Go where?’ he thought to himself and started following her, briefly addressing people on his way out.
