With that announcement, the trailer of the movie became a very popular hype all over the internet and in Hollywood.
The trailer was of different scenes from the movie that the directors and the marketing team suggested would create more buzz. This was why the kissing scene between Kiara and Sean in the movie was highlighted during the trailer.
And they succeeded.

On the other hand, with all the hype, the Renner Studio was also busy with the shooting of The Godfather.
Under Ian’s advice, he wanted the shooting process to hurry. Which made the entire cast switch to different cities more often than not, during the shooting process.
[On Set!]
“Okay, everyone! Today’s main focus is a scene that could be iconic if executed well! And the responsibility is on us!” Joseph explained while looking at the actors and actresses who were looking back at him.
“Alright, Liam and Michael. Get ready for the scene in seventeen minutes,” Joseph said and everyone started scattering around—doing their own thing.
Ian sat in the corner of the set. He started going through the script for the next scene.
“This is a scene that is in the beginning, so it should be shot with essence.”
Ian nodded agreeing with Joseph.
“Let’s give it a go, and then we can adjust it to fit the scene. Whenever they are ready,” Ian said and looked at Joseph.
“Yeah, okay,” he replied.
Within a few minutes, the shooting began.
“...And action!”
The room was filled with smoke. Liam, who played Vito sat behind his desk. Liam was a man in his forties. And Michael, who was Vito’s son, stood before him.
“Start!” Ian’s voice came. He wanted Liam to start his dialogue.
“I never wanted this for you. I wanted you to be Senator Corleone, Governor Corleone. But things change. Now you come to me and say, "Don Corleone, give me justice." But you don't ask with respect. You don't offer friendship. You don't even think to call me "Godfather."
“Cut! Please, can we retry? I don’t think it was a good shot,” Joseph cut them off shortly. “Ian, I think you have something to share?” he requested and gave space for Ian to share his thoughts.
“Yes, well. This scene takes place in Don Vito Corleone's study. And this needs to be a very… authentic act because this scene needs to capture the essence of the power dynamics within the Corleone family and literally establishes Michael's transformation from an outsider to a key player in the family business,” As Ian started to explain, everyone stood silent and listened to him.
“So, basically, during this scene, Don Vito expresses his disappointment that Michael, his youngest son, has become involved in the family's criminal activities.
“He shares his original aspirations for Michael's future and emphasizes the importance of respect and loyalty. Michael, while initially reluctant, acknowledges his role in protecting the family and vows to handle the situation at hand.
“This scene needs to be “real” because it marks a turning point in the story. It showcases the complex relationship between Don Vito and Michael, as well as Michael's gradual descent into the world of organized crime.
“Simply put, the dialogue is powerful and highlights the themes of family, loyalty, and the sacrifices one must make for the sake of the family's survival. It sets the stage for the dramatic events that unfold throughout the movie and leaves a lasting impression on the audience.”
With that, everyone understood what Ian was trying to say. Joseph looked at Ian impressively.
-
“I'm sorry, Godfather. I didn't mean to disrespect you,” Michael said as he lowered his head.
Vito sighed.
“I understand. You were the one person I could always count on. You never wanted to be a part of this family business. But circumstances forced your hand. Now, you must take your place.”
“What must I do, Godfather?”
“You must do whatever it takes to protect our family, Michael. There's a traitor among us, someone who betrayed his own blood. Find out who it is. Take care of it. And remember, loyalty is everything.”
Michael nodded solemnly, a sense of responsibility weighing heavy on his shoulders.
“I won't let you down, Godfather. I'll handle it.”
Vito patted Michael’s shoulder.
“I know you will, my boy. You have the strength and cunning of a Corleone. Now go, and may your actions be swift and decisive.”
“Cut! That was perfect! Let me check!” Ian said and went to check how the shot went.
Surprisingly, Joseph and Ian both liked the shot. And it was after twenty-seven tries.
“That was a good one, no safety shots will be needed,” Joseph said with a slight smile which made the actors even more happy.
