The number of articles that have been written and published ever since the movie was out was comparatively higher than any other movie Ian wrote or directed.
Inside his bedroom, he lay there on his bed and read articles one by one, especially articles about John Wick and how critics continued to see the movie.
He continued to read a public survey where there were a bunch of movie critics talking about why John Wick could be the best action movie so far in Hollywood but there were also completely contradictory reviews.
Normally, directors, producers, and basically anyone who’d associate themselves with movies wouldn’t dive too much into information when it comes to reviews and how the people talk about the movie after the initial stage, but as for Ian, in his mind, he was basically remaking the movies that already existed in an original version.
He wanted to know what people genuinely think and say about the movies he creates, apart from all the Hollywood drama.
The article he was currently reading had a critique by a famous celebrity, Jeffry Ingram. He was an A-list actor, who was found through his previous career as a standup comedian.
He mentioned as below;
5/5 - 5 stars!
If someone says that he/she is an action movie lover but didn't watch this movie, he/she is lying that he/she is an action movie lover. Because in this film, we not only can see unique lever action scenes, we can see a unique level story and a unique level plot. The best thing about the John Wick series is its unforgettable story and plot. We can remember the plot and story of every John Wick movie. And if I have to choose the best story in this series, I'll choose this one. Dog killer-" It was just a f**king dog" Keanu- " It was more than a f**king dog for me", that scene was really amazing. The way everyone, even the main villain, the father of that dog killer/ car thief, gets afraid of the name John Wick, subconsciously we ask ourselves who is John Wick? What is his past that everyone is so afraid of? Yeah, that is another thing that as the movie continues we can understand why. But still, we want to know his entire past. What he did was that even the ex-boss of John Wick was afraid of him. The climax was next level, the acting was next level, the acting of Keanu Reeves( or, John Wick himself) was next level, the story was next level, the plot was next level, the action was out of my words, and overall the entire film was amazing. When Wick killed his assassin in his house and that policeman asked " Back to work again?" We can understand how dangerous John Wick is. When Marcus/ Green Goblin died we can feel sad for him. Sometimes we think that Keanu is not acting as John Wick, he is John Wick.

Ian was in his SUV, with his new driver, Larry Summers taking him to the office. Larry was someone Ian met while he was searching for a new job.
“Can we stop by the coffee shop?” Ian asked the driver, he nodded but said nothing.
Minutes later, Ian walked inside the coffee shop. As soon as he walked in, the whispers and the mutters made his neck hair tingle. Shaking his head, he walked straight into the cashier and ordered his regular coffee.
“Okay sir, ten minutes!”
“I-Ian? Mr. Ian Renner?” A familiar voice came in and Ian immediately turned to see who it was.
“Oh- It’s you….”

[Renner’s Studio]
“Guys… It’s official! We surpassed both Karma and Death Realism in no time!” Niko yelled, making Raelynn, Maxin, and Martin turn their heads in surprise.
“What? How do you know?” Rae asked with much curiosity.
“Statistics. The profits are much higher, and the screen times say a lot of things than anyone could ever do! I don’t even care about how the Lincoln Studio and the Goofy keep focusing more on marketing!”
Raelynn rolled her eyes. “The fans don’t even care much about the competition-”
“Exactly, Rae. All they care about is a good movie to spend their money and time on. Good entertainment. Unless they are hardcore Hollywood fans who look for specks of dirt, or just article writers or social media influencers.”
“All in all, the other stuff is basically none of our business. What I’d like to focus on are the good reviews and the 3.2 billion milestone achievement. The movie is hitting good and high all over the world. There were also special events in Indo, China, and uh… Russia,” Raelynn said with much hope in her mind.
“That’s great news. There are going to be more premieres. Ian mentioned last week that his goal is to screen John Wick in at least 100 countries.”
“Woah, that’s a lot!”
“That is not a lot. Ian’s books got published way more than this. Recently, his second PJ book has been published in 157 countries. And that’s something real-”
The entire room turned to pin-drop silence as Ian walked into the conference room, without even knocking on the door.
When he entered the room, Rae noticed something different with him. He was looking straight at no one, but walked in and took his position in front of them.
“Okay, let’s waste no time. How about we discuss the budget for the next three projects? I already have some ideas in my mind.” Ian said, gaining all the attention.
Before he entered the room, Niko, Rae, Maxin, and Martin stood here and there inside the room, but as soon as he entered the room, they sat in their places.
“I’m creating the Resident Evil video game, I’ve yet to finalize things. And for that, I’d be running test games. There’s that. I’m almost done with the next season of Lucifer, the script. So there’s that. And, uh, I have got several more ideas that I can put into action with the Renner Studio. I’m also planning so many things ahead, so take whatever you brought to keep track of the timeline I’m scheduling things.”

The meeting had ended thirty minutes ago, and Raelynn was waiting for him to get outside so that she could ask what was bothering him. During the entire meeting, Ian was stern with his actions and it looked like he was thinking about too many things while he was talking.
Raelynn couldn’t stay there looking at him while he was having trouble with himself.
Ian walked towards Raelynn. She was concerned, and by her facial expressions, it was clear as a clear sky.
“What’s up?” Ian asked as soon as he walked closer.
“What do you mean, what’s up? What is up with you?” she asked back.
“Hm?”
Ian walked across the conference room and closed the door as everyone in the conference hall left.
“Ian, look at me.”
Ian looked at Raelynn.
He sighed after a long pause between them. If it was someone else, he would’ve felt that he had no option but to explain what was going on. But in front of her, looking into her eyes, he wanted to say what was bothering him.
“I met Sarah and Lilian on my way here-”
Raelynn’s mouth turned to an ‘O’ while hearing what he was saying.
“Yeah, I had the same reaction for a while, not gonna lie. But it was fine when I talked to her…”
“You talked to her?” she asked back.
“Of course, I had to. I couldn’t just let the woman walk out of the cafe as if I didn't know her. I talked to her. She was surprised to meet me as well, but well, it went fine.”
“Why were you worried then?”
Ian chuckled at the question.
“Funny thing, I’ve no idea.”
