Weeks passed after the night of fun with the movie crew and everyone who supported The Dark Knight.
The editing process took more time than Ian had expected.
During the first few days, almost everyone including Ian, Martin, and Raelynn was needed around the studio. There were several occasions where they had to sit back for hours staring at the same scene from different angles just to get a good shot.
There were also moments where Raelynn strictly said, ‘This is it. I don't think there should be anything more. Dim the brightness, and we’re good to go. Sync the audio, and let’s see if it fits.’
Ian’s short response was, ‘If you’re so sure, alright. But try seeing the same view from different angles. Pull up the left side camera-’
After so many such incidents, within four weeks, they were able to create the trailer and finalize the shots that they thought would be able to market during the campaign.
[Movie Trailer release]
The day the movie trailer was released, it was almost as if the core fans of Batman were shaken to death.
The soundtrack of the trailer, the way interesting dialogues were brought to life, and the intense curious music that gave chills to the fans was not subtle–in fact, highlighted through and through.
One thing people were more excited about was Joker.
The newest character Raelynn had brought to life. In the comics, the character of Joker was highlighted in this world just as Raelynn had done in the movie.
By the end of the trailer, the entire panel of staff had their jaws dropped.
Ian who stood up when ‘THE DARK KNIGHT’ appeared clapped loudly which was followed by the many people who stood watching it with curious eyes, who now had their hands put together.
‘THAT WAS FANTASTIC!’
‘I LITERALLY HAVE FUCKING GOOSEBUMPS!’
‘WELL--PUT TOGETHER!’
‘I’M IMPRESSED!’
‘WOAH!’
‘I STOPPED BREATHING!’
The comments flowed one after another, the twenty people in the room made enough positive remarks for one hundred.

Days passed by after the release, and it was only one week for the movie release, but due to all the feelings including anticipation, everyone felt as if it was a very long time, although: it was just a week.
“How is it going?” Ian asked as he was walking down to his office.
Murphy, who followed him with brisk walks, replied with an equally urgent voice.
“The numbers show a 10% increase in the last hour, and the views for the trailer exceeded 2M. This is actually good news, three directors commented on the trailer and the hype is totally up!” he said continuously looking at his tablet to Ian.
Ian opened the door to his office and walked inside with a hurry on his face. The frown in the middle of his eyebrows explained how much he was stressed even coming to the office, and the dark eye circles under his eyes explained how he had been sleeping at night.
“Keep me updated. The campaign for the next six—five days is going to be busy. With the premiere date changing to tomorrow, and the movie release being next week, we need the hype to last long-”
“Sir- Ian…”
Murphy addressed Ian by his name.
“Hm?”
Murphy sighed long enough to grab his attention. “This is going to be just fine. Of course, Sir Mason is not here around anymore, but stressing yourself over every little detail is not going to work,” he replied and shrugged.

“I’ll take it, thank you, Murphy….”
Murphy sighed again and walked out of the room.
Ian sat and opened his laptop immediately to check the metrics.

[Day of the movie premiere]
“... Hello, U-tubers! How is it going? Thank you so much for tuning in to my liveeee! Oh yeahh! It’s me Hamrit Sharma bringing you the hottest topic of the week, THE DARK KNIGHT right from the premiere! Don’t ask me how, but I’m here! I actually got invited to this very beautiful movie premiere… And I’ve to say, even the red carpet looks promising! Not to mention, my main goal for the night is to get ever-loving, ever-wonderful Mr. Ian Renner to say a few words, so… Hang in there, guys! Hang in!” The U-tuber said to the camera.
The camera stopped recording and the man relaxed but his smile didn’t fade even a little bit.
Amrit Sharma was known as a U-tuber who came to California just due to his career and had been spending lots of time digging the specks of dirt here and there, yet someone who had made lots of friendships with famous people.
From his name, it’s obvious he’s Indian. Which also made things quite interesting related to him.
His fanbase was not just Indians, which is quite a huge country, but also Americans and Westerners who were interested in his opinions, friendships, and his social life along with his content.
It seems that there were quite some fans who had realized who was on and on about the movie premiere.
‘Oh wow…! Amrit is here….! Guys! Look!’
‘Amrit… A selfie please!!’
‘Amrit, can you say something to us!’
Along with the fans, with all the yelling and screaming, some reporters turned to see this U-Tuber making quite the entrance to the premiere.
With that, the spotlight was on him, and Amrit being the socialite he is, handled the spotlight quite well.

[City Hall Theatre - Los Angeles]
The theater of it all. Famous movies are being released. Famous plays are being performed. Well-known actors are being introduced. Sometimes, some movies make it huge inside it. Sometimes, some movies die inside it.
So many things altogether—City Hall Theatre.
Nevertheless, the price that needed to be spent to book the theater is what kept small directors away from taking the premise. And CEOs like Ian, who possess the wealth even to throw money at the point, would book the hall while enjoying every privilege which comes with it—including the necessary pairs of eyes that the premises attract.
There were just a few minutes for Ian to gather his thoughts. More like, seconds.
The door to his car opened, and he was immediately revealed to all the flashlights going on and off of him. He wasted no second walking around the car and getting Raelynn outside it.
Extending his hand, he was met with her smile, which for some reason warmed his insides. The worries that he was feeling during the whole journey seemed to fade away, and with a slight nod, the couple walked inside.
‘Ian Renner is here!’
‘IAN, LOOK HERE!’
‘IAN, CAN WE GET A HI?’
‘RAELYNN IS YOUR DATE FOR THE NIGHT? IS THERE SOMETHING YOU WANT TO REVEAL?!!’
‘OMG! I NEED A SELFIE WITH THEM!’
‘AAAAAA! IAN! RAELYNN! OMG LOOK! CHRISTIAN BALEEEEE!’
The yells from the fans and the questions from the reporters ended up mixing in with the hype itself. Ian stopped for a brief moment, turning towards the cameras, and smiling at them.
Raelynn flipped her hair off of her shoulder and smiled at the cameras with so much highlight to her dress, make-up, and her appearance.
“I’m pretty sure this is going to be on top headlines tomorrow,” Ian whispered to her as she waved at fans who were screaming at top of their lungs, but was protected by the border that divided the two areas.
“Why not? Is it because we’re making quite the entrance, or how good the movie is going to be?” she asked with a smirk dancing on her lips.
“Both, Rae, both!”
Within a matter of seconds, they turned and walked towards the reporters who were right in front of the step and repeat.
After thousands of photographs were taken, it was Ian’s moment to go to the side where reporters were waiting for the actors and actresses to come.

[Claps erupting from every end of the hall…]
In the loud crowd, there was a man sitting with his leg upon another. In his hand, the guest's drink stayed. He kept looking around to see how many people were shaken from the movie—including him.
He kept the glass near his foot and joined them.
The movie was something he had truly enjoyed. This was not the first time that he enjoyed a movie written by Ian, and down his heart, he knew this wouldn’t be the last time.
After the sound of the claps died down, a girl wearing a long gold dress walked up the stage.
“... Thank you, everyone! Once in a lifetime, someone out there gets an opportunity to climb up their career. Some take it, some leave it—either way, that happens without them knowing. And, that’s the beauty of luck.
“For me, meeting Mr. Ian Renner is that. I’d love to keep my speech short, and say let’s party and celebrate—but this movie holds something really special to me. So, I’d start by thanking Ian, Martin, Niko, Steffen, Christian Bale—who helped me…….”
The speech continued for more than twenty minutes, but by the end of the movie, even the actors were emotional, and from the large screen behind her, the cameras were focused on Christian, who had tears in his eyes.
‘This is wonderful’ the man who kept looking at all of it thought to himself.
