Monica smiled down at the objects of her ire for the last few months.
The plan breakers, the experimental mishaps, the foolish ‘heroes’ who thought that they were going to stop her.
Yet, despite the cold fire of her rage, she couldn’t help but smile.
For just like she wanted, the fools came to her of their own accord.
Just as Father had designed them, just as she designed them to.
All was about to come to fruition.
The final solution, the plan that she and her foolish father had dreamed up so many years ago!
She couldn’t help it, she laughed hard as she stared from her screen on her station.
“How foolish, to think that you would find Dr. Pox, to think that you would find me, in the most obvious place. I am almost embarrassed that you share my blood, Sarah.”
Monica saw the tightness of her half-sister’s face, now shifted back into her human form, bare teeth at her as she grinded her jaw.
Oh it was wonderful to see that rage.
“And you? My lost experiment, my magnum opus. How are you? Was it hard to work with that fool in your head?”
Monica sent a spike of her power into the one called ‘Chimera’ and watched as the blob flinched.
Monica grinned, feeling her face stretch as Chimera screamed while holding her head, desperate to keep her out.
Oh, but that’s not your purpose, little Chimera~!
She sent another pulse, the blob turned into a human meat suit, and the nerves launched to obey her commands.
“So sorry about this, but I’ll be taking back my experiment! Chimera, come to me!”
The other fools watched in delicious horror as the one they called their comrade obeyed her, rushing forward with a pained look on her face.
“Begin, Chimera…”
The heroes that she cultivated, the people she had taken from the Hero’s League by using her… hah… Father all let out pained howls as her creation absorbed their bodies.
The other’s tried to stop the inevitable conclusion, but Monica unleashed her trained scientist to intervene, the very one she used to free her Father from Blackrock Prison.
His transformation was rather clinical, but the flayed skin and the crazed look in his eyes made Monica believe the demoralizing factor in her ‘guests’ eyes all the sweeter.
The exposed muscles added a monstrous flair, but that could just be her own thoughts on the matter.
Oh, who was she kidding? Her thoughts were the only ones that mattered.
Monica felt a thrill as her plans came to fruition, and the conclusion that she and her Father made was finally within reach.
With one exception of course.
There will be no humanity or even Huma, Father. However, this world will have a new race, one built in my image. The Mona, the perfection of both the starbound race, and the human filth.
And I will have. My. WORLD!
Monica pressed a button on her console, watching with glee as several towers rose across the city of New Terra.
Towers that she bought with money she took from ChemTech, that gave her the places she needed to funnel the tremendous power she needed to end this city.

A star shaped pattern marked the directions of the city, but from Monica’s station, she only saw the energy funneling from Asta making its way towards her.
She pulled a lever as the energy from several of the towers latched onto her space station, and with a final pull, she grabbed a hold of the hover rail that contained her sleeping mother.
Monica walked towards the teleporter as it carried her back to her office.
Turning towards her window,, she smiled with glee as the station she built armed, bringing her final solution to humanity online.
“Let the Wrath of the Goddess smite the unclean humanity, and make way for me, Mona, the Goddess of Asta!”
She pressed a button on her desk, and watched the countdown on her desk as the shield’s came down, and the rest of New Terra was exposed to the waiting weapon.
Come to me, little experiment. Fufill your purpose, and let us end this game of life.

Sarah watched in horror as Chimera started to devour the people in front of her, a ravenous gaze on her blood stained body as each hero was absorbed.
It was so quick that the body would compress in on itself as it tried to fit into the small openings she made, leaving a gory mess.
“GO! We have to stop her!”
“A little busy here!”
The scientist that Aden was fighting was something that looked like what Sarah would believe a flesh golem would be.
No skin, only a bulging of muscles, sinews and bleeding arteries pulsed from the monster as it swiped at their group with bone claws.
She couldn’t worry about them, sad as it was though.
Even now, through the link that they shared, Sarah could feel the overpowering energy that had seized Chimera's mind.
It was so much more than the probing attack she faced while trying to rescue Aden. This power, it felt as if it was controlling her very mind as Chimera was forced to carry out its will.
Sarah had to push against it, lest it threaten to spill over their connection and grasp hold of her as well.
She rushed forward, pulling as many of the people away as she could, while also blocking Chimera from making another victim.
“KILL! DEVOUR! ASSIMILATE!”
“Chimera, stop this please! You got to fight!”
“DESTROY!!”
Sarah cursed as Chimera sped herself up to stop Sarah from interfering.
It became a game of tag, as Sarah launched herself to speed up as well, grappling and tossing Chimera back only for her to return and continue to try.
Mercifully, it seemed that many of the heroes were waking up from whatever trance they were under, and started to help evacuate the other heroes, some already hurt, and other’s barely hanging by a thread.
Blood smeared the ground for those that were not quick enough, and Sarah, despite her best effort, could not keep up with Chimera’s speed.
So, she went for a different play.
The next time she ran into Chimera, she held her down, wrapping around her as she engulfed the puppeteered bioweapon.
It was like trying to keep herself from throwing up while her stomach did front flips on a rollercoaster.
“FREE! LET… GO!”
“No! I’m not letting you hurt another person Chimera. Now snap out of it!”
“FREE… Help…me! GET HIM.”
“Get who?!”
…
As Sarah fought with Chimera…
Aden and the others surrounded the scientist as he tried to fight them off, blood spurting off of him as he flailed in a crazed state.
“Tranq him!”
They all nodded together as a myriad amount of tendrils launched into the man’s exposed arteries, pumping into him at regular intervals until he finally began to slow.
Along with this, the skin on his body seemed to come back, revealing a dark tan.
Aden sighed as the others stopped injecting him, turning to take a look at his sister and her fight.
She was grappling with Chimera, right up until she ate her.
“What the hell?!”
Aden ran over, the other’s following him while Clonemera rushed off with Hector to help him with the liquid nitrogen.
Sarah seemed to be struggling as she turned to Aden, “go find that bastard Gideon!”
Aden stared at her dumbly as Sarah fought to keep herself from exploding.
“What?! Sister you’re not making sense!”
“FIND HIM ADEN.”
Aden jumped as Sarah’s face twisted to look like Chimera’s for a moment before reverting back to his sister.
No! Fuck, she’s getting taken over like Chimera!
But what was Aden going to do? He never met the bastard that fought Chimera, he had no idea what he looked like or how to find him.
Little did he know…
…
On top of ChemTech Headquarters…
Meghan watched as the city’s barrier went down, while five towers rose into the air, brimming with massive amounts of energy.
“Woah, this… is definitely something we want to build later. It may be best to stop them though, as much as we wish to see what it does.”
Meghan smiled as she rushed towards the nearest tower, while below her a young man in the form of a werewolf and a league of robots rushed into the main lobby below.
