It had been two months since Sarah had separated from her friend and only family.
The city park was a goldmine for different genetic make-ups and unique DNA sequences, and now Sarah was compiling them all into what she called, battle templates.
Sarah had a plan on how she could return to a semblance of a new life without drawing suspicion from her old place of employment.
It was simple when she thought about it, as it combined something she always wanted to do with what she could now feasibly do.
She wanted to help superheroes, to be one.
Before her parents had died, and she took custody of her brother, Sarah was training to become a hero scientist.
Hero scientists, like their names suggested, studied Hero biology to understand how it worked and also how to possibly improve it. They were the literal scientists that studied Heroes, and helped them with their own research.
After all, to catch a supervillain, you had to understand how their stuff worked.
It was part scientist, part crimefighting, and part investigation work.
She was about to join the New Terra Super Service of the Hero League when her parents had died to Dr. Pox. Unlike her brother, they got a full dose of the cancer and died within minutes. It flipped the table on most of her dreams, but she never blamed Aden for it.
She only wanted to make sure he was safe and healthy after that.
Now though…
He’s essentially a super in his own right, so I can focus on my next step without fear.
She came up with three different templates while she was ruminating.
Template One.
A Hunter style using muscle groupings from canines and felines, with increased olfactory receptors and vibration sensing. Super strength and speed with powerful fist/claws. Muscular jaw groupings allow the jaw to open wider and grab with newly built teeth and jawbone support structures, allowing a powerful bite force.
Template name (Huntress)
Template Two
Humancentric design, combining various humanoid support systems and redundancies to create a ‘superhuman’ construct.
This design supports greater brain mass, powerful muscle groups from different species fit to a human profile.
Enhanced metabolism allows for poison resistance, parasite resistance, and effective one hundred percent usage of all available resources. Combines the templates from other human test subjects as added bonuses and appliances.
Template Name (Adam Kadmon)
Template Three
The Crimson R series allows for all matter and life to be rebuilt and reconstituted into various forms and functions.
This template invites to use these forms as a template inside a hundred templates, allowing for instant transformation to various creatures and biological lifeforms.
The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there.
One could become a dog, or a cat, or a turtle or a bird, anything with the template fully scoped.
They could even become a combination of them all, allowing for a various style with multiple options for use.
Template name (Chimera)
Sarah felt like each of these templates were possible options for a chance at becoming what she always dreamed of since she had been a girl.
A true Super Hero.
Each template could fit a scenario for a chance of being included into the Hero Leagues ranks, especially the Chimera template, since it could utilize a lot of the Crimson R series gifts under the disguise of a ‘super power’.
Each one had their place though.
The Huntress template would allow her to take a better advantage against faster villains and stronger ne’er-do-wells. It’s speed and strength were unmatched against normal heroes, and the bite allowed for another option against her foes. She could also track them with her new senses, the vibration and scent on the wind would carry her to her next target.
Adam Kadmon was something she saw mentioned in a Hebrew myth, the perfect man created by God himself.
She felt that her template was a worthy contender for that title, as it overcharged the human body with everything to make it stronger, better, faster, and more intelligent than ever. She would become perfect, and unlock all the faculties that come with it. Better thought processes, better vision and acuity, unlimited stamina and the strength of a hundred men. She could even process at the speed of a super computer, calculating odds and causes before a second passed.
As a template, it would be a grand weapon, but one major issue was the increased energy usage. IF she used it, she would need a lot of biological material to maintain it.
Although in the terms of raw, destructive power Chimera had them all beat.
Using Crimson R’s fullest potential, Sarah would unleash all the Data she contained and create a monstrous masterpiece that surpassed anything alive. It would not be an exaggeration to say that this form would be her ‘Kaiju’ form. The best part about it was that there was already a few heroes who had something similar in design.
She smirked to herself.
Who would have thought that blood from a superhero would be in the park. Probably from a fight or something. The best part about this Template is that despite the similarities, no one would suspect the connection to Crimson R.
After all, who would accuse a superhero of stealing company products?
Either way, it was a trump card, and a mighty one at that.
She took a look at the three that she made, and thought of a grand idea for how they could fit in the world.
Now, a back story…
Template One.
Lena House was a mother of three that lost both her husband and her children, (or so she thinks, because it turns out Aden is one of her kids) to a supervillain’s collateral damage. The backdrop of radiation caused her to mutate with both her golden retriever and their Persian Mau into a hybrid of both cat and dog. Now, she’s on a quest to find the villain responsible and hunt them down for what they did to her.
She is, the Huntress!
Template Two
Subject A was an experiment created by a supervillain with a dream of developing the ultimate human.
He succeeded so well that his creation wondered why she should follow his orders.
After destroying his underground facility, she moved into the world of man, judging them and deciding that they might be worthy of her time. That curiosity might tip either way though, as she is logical and pragmatic above all else.
After her creator’s hubris in her creation, she decides on the moniker of Adam Kadmon, after the myth he based her on.
She’s unaware it was supposed to be a name for a male human.
Template Three.
Chimera didn't have a name at first, because Chimera was technically not a human. She or it, was the combination of a refuse heap of dumped monster bodies from a villain’s cold storage that combined with a ‘unknown’ ingredient to make up her new body. Visceral, hungry, and confused, she stumbles into the world of Asta with curiosity at the little people walking around.
Till she met a little girl, who called her after the mythical creature.
In no short terms, the girl helped the beast appreciate humanity, and finally helped them make sense of what they were seeing.
That girl was targeted by a villain for her unique DNA, and died.
The amalgamation was distraught, and killed the villain for his trouble. Afterward, she combined with the girl’s body so that they would never be separated. That girl’s mind eventually replaced the amalgamations and she lived again, just like the beast wanted.
The girl’s unique DNA was in fact, the combining agent that brought the beast to life, and now the girl walks this new world with a monster inside her, or is she the monster?
Sarah liked the last one’s story, as it held the most freedom for her.
Am I even wondering which one I want to do the most?
She smiled to herself, transforming into her various forms as a plan for her 'roster' built inside her head.
