“Oho? A fitting finale? But my troupe had already met its end. The finale was nothing short of tragedy...”
He tilted his head.
Although there was a smile plastered on his face, it was filled with sorrow.
If this were a carnival or one of his shows in the past, it would be an action meant to follow up some tricks in his acts to bring children joy.
But now it’s nothing more than the smile of a tragic clown wallowing in misery.
“Which is precisely why I wish to help give your troupe a more fitting finale. Though your companions perished, you have all their skills together and there is still you, the Circus Master. In this accursed place, wallowing in misery and despair, that’s nothing less than an endless hell, is a hope.”
Clovis did not move, but his eyes were intently focused on me.
“What hope is there in despair? Can’t you see my misery? Its murky depths are filled with nothing other than pain. And that very same misery is something I see within you and your companion.”
“I do not deny it. I share the same misery as you. I plead guilty to such words. However, I do not despair. There is a way to end everything here. To undo this curse. And bring eternal rest to all that belong to the afterlife that still dwell in this accursed land.”
His ears were perked up.
His eyes focusing.
Within them, I see a faint light.
Continuing on,
“In the deepest area here, there is a heart, that contains the sorrow, grief, despair, and hatred of all who perished in this forest. I was told by an old friend that its destruction will bring an end to everything.”
I offered him my hand.
“Join us, Clovis, together, let us bring this all to an end. A finale where your troupe brings a smile to all, by ending the curse that chains us to the land of the living. And return us to where we belong. Where we will finally reunite with those dear departed that left this world so many years ago.”

At that, Clovis laughed.
“Indeed! To bring smiles to people, is why the Red Moon Troupe existed! I never dreamed that I would once more be able to bring smiles even in death… I accept wholeheartedly. To reach the true finale my troupe should have met many years ago!”
And with that, he took my hand.
“Well now, with this, we have a new ally.”
Llednar laughed heartily.
I merely smiled in satisfaction.
“True, now, we’re much closer to our goal and we have a greater chance to succeed.”
This is splendid.
A new companion.
----------------------------------------
Good evening. It's been sometime. I had great trouble this time around... My misfortune is truly strong. My relative died... I had great difficulty enrolling due to losing some important papers and when I thought I finally finished things, I find that I'm still lacking... Anyways, I apologize. It's wrong for me to complain here when we all have our fair share of troubles. Regardless, I'm going to write and release faster chapters. Also, I'm waiting for the day we have our own Internet Connection. My blog is still there and although I'd like to update that map, I must wait a bit. I believe that my blog properly respects the efforts of authors and the sites where they are hosted. I can't do things on a whim and stuff after all. I properly read some chapters and give my honest light opinion on the novel then put the links to where it's hosted. A map doesn't need just some directions to each place after all... Anyways, thank you for reading.
